If they do and the person in question had something like a distinction or merit for the HND then that's way better than the 3rd class degree.

you can never be accepted unto a MSc degree with just a HND.
Minimum pre-requisite for MSc are undergraduate degrees (BSc or BEng)
However, you can try the Post-graduate diploma route (this should normally take a year) then upgrade it to MSc.

i personally think it is WRONG for the lady to demand that her partner does the dishes.  

if he decides to do it (which i wont allow if i am not busy), fine but it is wrong to ask him to do it.

personally, i will prefer to have my partner keep me company by sitting on a chair in the kitchen (gisting and laughing with me or flipping through a magazine or something) while am busy with the chores or he breezes into the kitchen as often as possible to say ''pele dear'' or ''ku ise darling'' or ''well done, iyawo'' while i am at it      

What happens if you both work 9-5, have like 3 kids to attend to when you get back home, cook for them whilst he sits and watches all sort of sport on tv and you are tired around 8pm already thinking abt next days work?
