Politics › Re: President Jonathan To Buy New Executive Jet by JayJustus(m): 9:32am On Dec 24, 2014 |
FrankC3: From this article, despite frantic efforts by SH to sound alarmist, it is still very clear that no new jet is being purchased, rather a trade in is being done for one of the available jets. For those who know, in such procurements, manufacturer trade in could be aimed at achieving sustained warranty support, equipment and spare parts availability and to save money in the long run. It is often more expensive to maintain an older model of a product than to trade it in for a new one with better features. That is part of why firms change even official cars after 3 years most times.
Is the size of the Nigeriam Government large, yes! Is this particular procurement a wastage, we do not have enough information to say yet. During budget defence, the leader of Presidential Airfleet will be on ground to present his reasons and APC NASS members will have their chance to engage in logic and not all this emotional outburst by farmiliar handles on NL. did you actually take up your phone, tablet or PC to post this trash?? do you think with your yansh or penis?? you are definitely delusional...you need a shrink... |

If he talks, she replies; if he stops talking (maybe due to lack of what to say because the girl is boring), the girl stops talking. Waiting for the guy to talk so she'd REPLY as always. Arrggghhh.. lastpage: In all HONESTY, the General was there for just about ONE YEAR and l bet you that any HONEST Nigerian would attest to it that his partnership with Tunde Idiagbon actually put Nigeria back on the road to recovery, including recovery from moral decadence which spurns corruption and the overall decay the nation is in, as of today!
Democracy was in shambles when Buhari took over, that was precisely why he and Idiagbon took power ...... and tried to correct it. The same Democracy is in shambles right now (you can see how Senators are tear-gassed and scaling fences! ) despite being uninterrupted since 1999! Let us be honest with ourselves, at least for the sake of the younger ones who cannot decide how their future should look like.
BTW: I have my own fears of "Northern domination, sharianization" (real or imagined) but then, we have tried Jonathan for SIX SOLID YEARS NOW, we loose nothing if we try Buhari for just FOUR years and vote him out if he does not deliver. That is (should be) the beauty of democracy.
But to still vote for someone who told us that "if he cannot perform within FOUR years, he will not be any different even if you give him another four more years".... is sheer stewpidity!
Why cant we hold him to his WORDS? ...... because of tribalism, Religion and Ethnicity? Well, bring it on, we reap what we sow. As we lay our bed, so we would lie on it. My back-up plan was activated long ago and power outage is like non-existent in my affairs though l still feel for those who have no choice but to suffer this "shame"! would you Sir mind sharing with us that your backup plan |

Travel › Debit Card Withdrawals Outside Nigeria by JayJustus(op): 6:43pm On Dec 23, 2014 |
Hello nairalanders!!
I wanna know which debit card in Nigeria will charge me the lowest of the lowest fees cos I've been using GTBs master card here in Malaysia and swear down the charges have been outrageous. GTB would charge their regular 240-420 not sure of which back home, my mum tells me but here the charge can range from the minimum of 2000 naira to even 5000 bucks if I withdraw alot. Okay last three weeks I had 1000 malaysian ringgit which is 52k in naira but all I could remove was 840 ringgit which is about 44k and what remained inside was like 17 ringgit...so meaning in naira I lost around 7k to charges. I've talked to GTB so many times they saying it's not their fault, I've tried all the banks here still the same giant charges. So I don't know who has had something related like this and can shed more light. I'm losing so much seriously. Thanks and hope y'll will help a nigga,.
Cheers |

muhamm3d: If we vote in jonathan again, then we are all mad in this country. Because only a mad man does the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. Whether jonathan is trying or not we are not interested, he has failed to fulfil the promises he made to nigerians and i think 5years is enough to make such statement. For jonathan at this stage to be promising like buhari that has nver been president? Its extremely pathetic. The truth is if we search ourselves properly how many of us supporting jonathan are not being controlled by money, religion or ethnicity. If its truly d love and happiness of nigeria u are seeking for as a nigerian then you wouldnt even dream of jonathan staying at aso rock for a second. The truth is i will cast my vote for an antelope that apc drops as a candidate rather than vote for jonathan (Pdp candidate) pdp has no ideology or moral values and i also think the fairness and organisation of the apcs presidential primaries is a peep to how govt is going to be organised, fair and honest if an Apc candidate is elected to power. I think we have seen enough of jonathan to deduce that he has nothing more to offer nigerians. I commend him alot because am sure presiding over nigeria isnt an easy task, but the truth is we need change and i think buhari is that change we need. If buhari too fails then we cn comfortably vote him out and say they are all the same, but without that it will be very judgemntal to say they are all the same. couldn't agree with you more...I wish Nigerians see it the way you do...it will be a better place to inhabit |
