No, Buhari did not build any power plant. Even if he wants to build now, it is very likely it will not be commissioned before the end of his 4 year renure because it takes time for power plants to be installed.
OBJ built and awarded the contacts for those new power plants. Some were completed and commissioned before the end of his tenure. Some like the Olorunshogo power plant were to be installed in phases, some phases he completed and commissioned before the end of his tenure. It should be noted that most of these power plants are gas fired. You can't have power even when you have power plants but no gas for it to run for onward transmission and distribution.
under the last regime, the power sector was faced with many problems that mainly bothers on lack of oversight. There was a lull in spate of work on the yet to be completed power plants by the contractors because of corruption and lack of government oversight. the government was deceived hence few weeks to election, the rush by Jonathan to commission both already commissioned and uncompleted power plants.
There was no supply of gas to those power plants due to corruption. Probably the gas gas were diverted by the officials and blamed on vandals. Tell me what do vandals want to do with gas pipeline? Have you ever seen a BLACK MARKET GAS before? dispensing gas requires specialized equipments as it is not like oil pipeline whereby you just vandalise and begin to scoop.
The politicians and power officials deceived the government (for corrupt person gains) and the government inturn deceived the citizens. During the rainy season when the hydro electricity dams and power stations are working, they tell us that power has improved due to government effort in increasing power generation but during the dry season when water is short in supply and power drops, the tell us that the opposition and vandals are vandalizing the gas pipelines and sabotaging government efforts to ensure stable power supply.

I'm surprised some people credit the improved power generation to Buhari.

It's on record that GEJ built the highest numbers of power stations among president Nigeria has ever had.

He commissioned most of them in his last days in office and this improved generation is the fruit.

Even Buhari will reject this credit.

Show us the record. just name the power plants he started and completed. Not the ones OBJ built and commissioned that he hurriedly went to recommission 2 days to election.

I think it's the burial rite of one Ikeja Baale that died recently. These could be Ogboni society initiates. I have witnessed their procession before at Anifowoshe area in Ikeja.

Firstly, know the HS CODE and import duty rate of what you are importing. Your calculations will be based on CIF i.e. COST, INSURANCE & FREIGHT.
TO get your CIF = COST(FOB) + INSURANCE + FREIGHT.
If you don't know your insurance value, Calculate thus: COST + FREIGHT X 110% X 0.3% = INSURANCE.
NOTE. COST OR FOB is the declared amount you bought the goods as quoted on your commercial invoice.
Digest this first, then I guide you on how to calculate the duty proper.

Which part did I not get right? did you comprehend completely what I posted? We are on the same page when I said and you agreed that he is the most senior DCG. I know when he became DCG, I knew when he was Comptroller, he rose from COMPTROLLER to DCG in less than two years. He was promoted from AC to DC to COMPTROLLER, to AIG and DCG faster than his sets, that is why he can serve such a long time as DCG because he still has long service years ahead of him. All these during Jona's tenure.
NOTE: I have nothing against his rapid promotions, his carefree, lax, Haphazard, "I don't care attitude" to work is what I don't agree with. Maybe he acts like that because of his political connections.

IMO, John Atte shouldn't be confirmed CGC. I remembered when he was comptroller at Apapa, he doesn't come to the office, people complain about him a lot. He also acts like "freaking junkie" he only rose to the post of DCG as a result of him being Jona's kinsman. He rose from comptroller to DCG in less than 2 years. He enjoyed too much rapid promotion. He was always Jona's choice for CGC but for political pressures he had to retain Dikko Inde. Atte is just there in acting capacity as the most senior customs officer. If he is eventually confirmed (which I doubt), his administration may be worse than Dikko's except he changes his attitude to work in line with this dispensation of CHANGE. I don't see Atte leading the customs service effectively, though I have nothing personal against him, his actions as APAPA Comptroller is just too appalling for him to lead the service.

The lighthouse. This lighthouse I hear was built around 1848. It was renovated during IBB's tenure. The buildings inside is now NPA quarters. The ruins of Lord Luggard's house is located within the compound.

Did you visit the lighthouse (built around 1848) The buildings inside are used as NPA quarters. the ruins of Lord Lugard's house is also within the compound. I ll post the pictures now.
