How come Irish people sing so well, Enya, The Cranberries, Boyzone, u2 westlife...

Biggysmalls919: Lack of exposure

On the contrary, its not about lack of exposure, its about taste, opinion, perception, interpretation and of course CHOICE.

lorretta u: Phrases like
In the shades of avalon
Far beyond the yellow sea
Feel the power of babylon
Far beneath the coral sea(wetin she dey find beneath sea
In the isles of Ebony
E.t.c
Makes people say her songs are demonic.
Cos most of these words have direct reference to old magic
Isles and avalon e.t.c refer to old magic which used demonic powers.
Won't stop me from loving it though

I that is why its called WORLD MUSIC. Its influenced by local traditional culture. She even stated IRISH MUSIC as one of her influences. Local music are usually influenced by the environment, surroundings and nature. Our local traditional music is most times about FOREST, BUSHES, SPIRITS, ACTIONS OF ANCESTORS WHO LATER BECAME gods, REINCARNATION, GREAT KINGS OF THE PAST, SPIRIT OF MOTHER NATURE etc etc... most of us don't consider our very own sister Angelique Kidjo as singing "demonic" music despite the fact that she confess to be a follower of traditional African religion and she sings so proudly about it. VOODOO CHILD is a good example. Think of rural Ireland, you can't help but think of the sea...

lorretta u: The truth is that Enya's music is kinda demonic.have any one of you downloaded the lyrics of orinoco flows?
Lol.if u did,you'd know what I mean.
Even enigma is in the same demonic boat with her.
But the funny part is that I love her music to bits.demons and all.
I guess I'm a little bit demonic too
I love enigma too.
The track 'sadness' is as Demonic as they come but aww do I love it?
Mmm I love it to bits.makes me hiiiigh.
I guess I love demonic songs. But I'm sure not going to hell for that

Demonic? she once said in an interview that her influences are IRISH MUSIC, CHURCH MUSIC & CLASSICAL MUSIC. she even plays for the pope, besides, which is more eerie, her music or RC liturgical music?

onechance: ignorance is a mental disease. i like her 'gladiator' soundtrack

she was not the one that did GLADIATOR Lisa Gerard did it. lovely song anytime.

seunpayne: This phone is sweet. Three issues though:
1. The internal speaker for calls has a low sound output. Calls seems muffeled

2. The camera no just follow. The pictures come out just OK but don't be fooled by the 8MP. The picture quality is not as expected

3. No push notifications. Don't understand? Well you and Google no quarrel.

Now please how do we root this baby?

About the issue of no push notifications, are you serious about it cos I refuse to believe it doesnt have push notifications. you mean you can't receive your mails and social networks notifications on the go, I doubt it. Guy check your device well. A smartphone for this era no get push notifications, even my ex ex ex ex phone Nokia x2 get am.

na wa o! why this poster dey do like this na? you can't even compare galaxy s2 with this phantom self. forget say the s2 can be upgraded to jellybean 4.1.

4peace: Time will tell

Let me ask why you guys want nokia to adopt android

are you guys not satisfy with plenty of manufacturer already on android

Nokia has loyal fans in terms of their hardware, but their os, windows phone mobile, is wack. imagine Nokia hardware combined with android os,

Wetin concern me with whether person get girlfriend or not. him no be man?

Bilany: Amarantine is one of my best songs of all time

You know when you give your
love away
It opens your heart,
everything is new
And you know time will
always find a way
To let your heart believe it's
true
You know love is everything
you say
A whisper, a word, promises
you give
You feel it in the heartbeat of
the day
You know this is the way love
is
Chorus
Amarantine
Amarantine
Amarantine

listening to WILD CHILD right now to face the weather

BizBloke: Bro, the battery is good. Asides that, the phone comes with a powerbank which stores up power to support your battery in the eventuality of power failure. So, if the battery is used up, you can still up it with the powerbank.

BIZBLOKE, WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE? IF I WANT TO BUY. I WORK AROUND ANIFOWOSHE IKEJA, VERY CLOSE TO COMPUTER VILLAGE.

your messiah not mine.JESUS CHRIST is my Messiah. If he asks me to behave like a child, I will as I know obedience to his will and his words will count me worthy of heaven. JESUS is Lord.

I love Enya. people assume or presume her songs to be demonic because of the language. she sings in her native old Celtic language and Latin and a bit of English. you know Latin is the language of magic and people associate the old Celtic language with pagan rites and rituals. she terms her music to be of the genre NEW AGE (music for the purpose of inducing relaxation) but she has won more awards as a musician of WORLD MUSIC (music influenced by local cultures) many people I know that presume her music to be kind of demonic are people that enjoyed ROBIN HOOD in their school days but they don't find the programme or the sound track demonic. I do tell them do you know that Enya did that ROBIN HOOD sound track? some of my favourites include STORMS IN AFRICA, AMARANTINE, LONG LONG JOURNEY. EBUDAE, MAY IT BE, FAR AND AWAY.... I can't begin to mention all. I just love Enya.

can someone pay for online contents with GTbank naira master card from say Google play store? even though their prices are quoted in us dollars.?

cyrexx: Pls guys does Google Now (siri-like voice assistant) work on this devce?

it should work cos Google now is embedded on the os jellybean, even my galaxy pocket gingerbread 2.3.6 has siri-like personal assistance working fine speaktoit assistance I downloaded from Samsung store free. remember you need a data connection for it to work. so the better the internet connection, the better it works

Josephnice: i love the specification of this phone except that i fancy a phone with gorilla glass which is indeed anti scratch. Scratches on phone glasses makes it kinda old and unstylish

my worries exactly. And I don't like the idea of wearing jackets and pouch for my phone.

Collins69: . Where can I get this tecno f7 in iLorin

I don't know that one o. I stay in Lagos but I think you can order online. I don't know if jumia.com has it in stock but its available @microstation, otigba street computer village ikeja. if you have family or friend in Lagos, you can ask them to purchase for you and send it through courier.

lordZOUGA: gorilla glass?

who dash monkey banana?

kipesco: I was about to get the Tecno N7 but i will hold on for more clarification.

guy, this phone senior N7 papa, and na only 4,500 price difference.

anochuks08: Same thing dey worry me sef. I no know weda na to buy galaxy s3 or this tecno. I love the specs of this tecno very much, but the name samsung dey pull ne.

I love this phone, its perfect. I have seen and operated it @microstation ikeja. the operating fluidity is superb. crisp clear display, personally am thinking of buying this phone or infinix diamond (lower specs and should be far cheaper). But then again, if you can afford to buy a Ferrari, why go for a Toyota? @least with Samsung s3, you have super AMOLED screen, anti-scratch corning gorilla glass etc.. etc...

Following this thread keenly.
