Don Demu: I wiil love a natural disaster of this nature to occur in the east. I have for a long time been propagating the gospel of do unto others, cautioning the igbos to be careful what they wish on northerners anytime they run their smelly mouths as they jubilate, wishing all sorts of evil on the north, once the "goodnews" of boko haram bomb blast filters in, but to no avail. I guess something like this would've taught them how to behave by drowning their ugly heads.
What is this one saying? Have you been smoking "DUNG BEETLE" SHIIT? you better stop it before it kills you. Who are those bombing the North? who are the Boko Haram? are they not Northerners?

Politics › Re: Soyinka: The Mad Old Professor (MOP) by jaymichael(m): 9:54pm On Jul 22, 2013
PointB: Let's look at it this way. How many times have Patience Ebele Jonathan - the victim of these unprovoked attacks- responded to Wole Soyinka ungentlemanly, immature, chauvinistic derision? Just once - in a mild press release to express her displeasure at Wole Soyinka's diatribe.

Subsequently, Wole Soyinka have called her 'illiterate', 'mammy wata, hippopotami.' and now 'shepopotamus'? Looks to me like the almighty WS is raring for a fight with a 'mere domestic appendage.' Incidentally, PEJ has borne all these vitriolic attacks calmly without uttering another word to Soyinka.

Women (forgive me if I sound a bit like Soyinka's but I mean no disrespect) are know to be more chatty/loquacious in comparison to men. Now the question I begin to ask myself is this: between Soyinka and PEJ who is more mature? Who really is the man here? The angry and loquacious Soyinka or the patient Patience? But with men like like Wole Soyinka, I bet indeed some mothers do have 'em!

I hope Patience continues to keep a dignified silence, in the face of this continue provocation. Shame that Soyinka's stock is falling - with every myopic outburst of his!
dignified silence my YANSH! when Obasanjo was president, you people abused him, calling him ugly, monkey etc. etc.. you people saw no big deal in that. Now its mama HIPPO turn, she has now become somebody's wife. Was Obasanjo not somebody's husband? true true he ugly but that is because he is old. Talk true from your mind, maddam UMBLERA no resemble HIPPO? @least she get HIPPO shape.

gedtalks: OP... I think you should be asking how much has GEJ saved for Nigeria since the subsidy regime. Not this stupid question. Anyway I dont blame your ignorance all you have is common sense. There are terms like macro-economics mgt, sustainability planning, etc which YOU CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND with this your common sense.

Shar let me tell you this : a good manager PLANS FIRST (removal of subsidy), SAVES (u shld ask how much Nigeria has saved), then invests according to the plan.

I think you should pray that GEJ should remain so that the money being saved would be properly invested according to the planned SURE program- which includes ALL you have listed AND MUCH MORE.
other presidents are achieving tangible progress for the betterment of their citizens, this CLOWN is telling us that Jonathan is saving subsidy money, saving subsidy money and the finance minister is telling us that Nigeria is so broke that she may not be able to pay September salary. This president is a JOKE, and his "moronic" bottom lickers are senile.

Politics › Re: Abacha’s Daughter Under-Fire For Attacking Soyinka by jaymichael(m): 12:39pm On Jul 20, 2013
I just remembered the documentary about the possessor I saw on Discovery Channel titled "SOYINKA, A CHILD OF THE FOREST" and this book I read in College of Education about Soyinka titled "BEFORE OUR VERY EYES" written by different eminent personalities who know Soyinka personally, some from childhood, school, some professional colleagues, mentors and proteges. These have given me a great insight into the mind, character and personality of the person WOLE SOYINKA and all what he stand for, believe in and personified. He can defend himself as regards the insult Patience Jonathan threw at him if if wants to, I can't come out on nairaland to defend the eminent professor. please people, what insult did Soyinka threw at patience the so called "Married Woman"? Did Soyinka lie about her character and actions? when Soyinka and other concerned Nigerians led the SNG protest to ensure that legality is enshrined and Jonathan should be sworn in as president, was he a "senile old man" then? now that he criticised a so called Married Woman who is just a mere domestic appendage of power(right so because she is not constitutionally elected) and advised her to halt her illegality which Soyinka has been known to speak out against since we know him, has now become a "senile old man" If the Soyinkas, Fasholas Oshiomoles could align with Amechi, and the Jangs, (who believe 16 to be greater than 19) Bipis(who believe 5 to be greater than 27) and the Gumsus could sympathise with Jonathans concerning the state of political turmoil and illegality which they orchestrated, that speaks volume of the personality of amechi and the Jonathans cos afterall they say people of like minds flock together.
