reason I ask is that it doesn't matter if it has Google map, it may still not have GPS connectivity cos there is this new Samsung low budget jellybean 4.1 phone (I have forgotten the model) doesn't have GPS connectivity and it has Google map. I remember, SAMSUNG GALAXY STAR. you can have Google map but you can't use GPS futures, and that to me is a turn off.

yes of course! your 2GB has been activated, you will notice that they will start charging from your 2GB once your 10mb has been exhausted. When you want to subscribe next, you no longer need to subscribe to the 10mb daily plan again, just subscribe to the 2GB BIS and you are good to go.

you dont have to change the APN, change the blackberry.net APN Back to the default APN, it seems you've not used the blackberry BIS before with the sim, just subscribe to the airtel daily internet bundle to activate it. dial *141*11*1# it costs100naira. The BIS will be activated and you are good to go. Let me know when it works for you, cos it will.

maybe your line is not a regular customer. Maybe it works for only those that receive the text message. maybe you can wait till you receive the text message or you can dial *440*16# to get 2GB for 1500, valid for a month.

you don't need all that, it works automatically. the daily plan I mean is not blackberry daily plan o, normal #100 daily internet bundle.

Amen, yes, it supports hotspot. That is what I use myself, I do share my data with some of my friends even with blackberry users.

I don't know the what the first code is for, but both *440*16# and *440*161# are for airtel blackberry unlimited plan. for the price of 1500naira. They call it unlimited but it actually has 2GB data cap as against the normal 1GB. But i received a text message from airtel that i should subscribe to the airtel unlimited blackberry plan, pay for one month and get one month free by dialing *440*161# that is the difference between the two.

s3nn2x: Wrong! The Airtel Unlimited BIS package comes with 2GB and not 4GB and it is for a month. Except Airtel increased it to 4GB in the last 2hours. The last time I checked the Airtel BIS that costs #1500 is for 2GB which is better compared to what the guy was getting from Etisalat.
