This is the seller I bought from. I got someone that flashed the original Chinese ROM the phone is supposed to come with and later Changed the language to English and the phone is working perfectly now. The issue is that the phone comes in two versions. The global and Chinese version. The global version has a Motorola logo at the back while the Chinese version hasn't. If the Seller doesn't have the Global version, they sell the Chinese version but they will flash a stock ROM that will come in English with playstore etc. It might not work properly as it is supposed to. The original Chinese ROM has no playstore, twitter etc but the Original global version with the original ROM may have all these as Chinese government restricts google, twitter services etc in their territory. No matter the version you buy, you can always flash the Original ROM you want.
Overall, the phone feels premium.

Probably you bought the one with chineese rom. You should have stock to the one with global version. Does it have google play? You need to flash the rom with original stock rom. That is why I dont like buying anything from Jumia. I prefer Aliepress because you will have room to ask the customer question before you buy. chat me up on whatsapp 08037586990

Someone told me that it means a FAKE ROM was installed. It has playstore, XENDER doesn't connect but Mi-drop works flawlessly.

the phone is not fake, sellers installed fake rom with playstore, hence that warning. You'll need qfil to flash, the rom is about 2.2gb. If u haven't been modding phones before, you can return the phone and get something else, redmi note 5 too is a great alternative and u wont have to worry about rom issues

2.2gb Jesu! Even if I download it, I am not that tech swavy to flash it myself. These sellers just find a way to put a little 'piss' in your "peace of mind" Na who send them message? So it could be that the fake ROM is responsible for the XENDER not working. I can still send and receive files with Mi-drop but I afraid that there might be other complicated issues in future.
I downloaded "BATTERY TESTER" to check my charging capacity only for the app to show the battery capacity at 3300MAh as against the advertised 4050 MAh.

Ya, it came with playstore. I did not root my phone. send me the link to the original ROM .If I download the ROM, how so I install it? Could it even be that the phone itself is fake? I emailed Jumia with a view to returning it and they said I should within three working days. If I can fix this issue, there won't be any more need to return it.

I use the same phone, xender works fine here, what you have is most likely a fake rom as the official one is chinese (Option for english language is there though), Check all permissions to see escapecially modify system settings

All the checks that need to be checked were checked. The ROM is Chinese like you said with option for English language. Did you order your from Jumia too? XENDER still refuses to work but Mi-drop works perfectly on the phone.

you are in Lagos, just call mr Wasiu on 08127068141. His office is opposite Old Slot computer village He fixes mostly Gionee phones. I fixed my Gionee X1s battery and camera issues there. The Lenovo K5 pro I just bought is still in the carton. Wouldn't have spent 57k ordering a new phone if I had known that my X1s can be perfectly fixed. Still using my x1s until I decide what to do with the Lenovo.

08127068141. I had almost thrown my X1s away when the battery issues got so frustrating coupled with the lens cover that I broke which affected the camera lens.

Please can anyone help me fix this issue? I go a new phone I ordered from Jumia (Lenovo k5 pro) delivered yesterday. I found out the pack, manual, the launcher themes etc are all in Chinese, (making me suspect it is the chinese version that was delivered instead of the global version as advertised)
Whenever I switch the phone on, I get a "YOUR DEVICE HAS LOADED ANOTHER OPERATING SYSTEM" display before booting. The painful part is that XENDER refused to work on the phone. It can't see or be seen by another device. When I want to send, I get "NETWORK FAIL" prompt.
Itbis a snapdragon device and I have sent them an email to return the device but If I can get the XENDER to work, I might not need to return it back.
Can anyone help me resolve the XENDER connection issues?

Hello pasendi, I finally got the Lenovo K5 pro I ordered via Jumia delivered today. I am not satisfied with the device at all. Anytime I switch the phone on, before booting it shows the message "your device has loaded another operating system" Everything about the launcher (changing of themes. Wallpapers etc) is Chinese. I cant send or receive anything via Xender. It cannot be seen by another device to receive files and I get "network fail" message whenever I try to send. I am regretting not buying Samsung J6+ I initially had in mind.
Is there anyway these issues can be fixed?

They all came to power upon the goodwill the party has built and not the political influence of these turncoat clowns.
