BMC' Logic 101 indeed. Since PMB has received and released 1. STATEMENT OF RESULTS FROM HIS SECONDARY SCHOOL, 2. MASTER RESULTS SHEET BEARING HIS GRADES, AND THOSE OF SOME OTHERS THAT SAT AND WROTE THE EXAMINATION WITH HIM THE SAME YEAR, 3, ORIGINAL WAEC RESULTS ATTESTATION 4, HIS ACADEMIC RECORDS AS CONTAINED IN HIS ARMY FORMS DURING HIS CONSCRIPTION, Whate else do you want him to present again? His school uniforms? The chair he sat on? the biro he used to write the exam? If you lose your certificate, what will you yourself have done? |

Throwback: You are the one fooling yourself and revealing that many indeed wail ignorantly.
What is lost or destroyed cannot be reobtained.
So Buhari got a Statement of result issued by his school who copied his grades from the Cambridge result master sheet that was also publicly released. Yet many said they must remain miserable and continued to bark at their own shadow.
Even when the grades tallied with what the military had publicly released as being available in their records on the military forms of Buhari as at the time he joined, besides not finding a copy of the certificate for those grades, many still refused to grow up.
Rather than move on, wailing began lamenting about passport picture and whether Hausa was offered in 1961, even when Cambridge replied a correspondence and confirmed it was offered, the miserable kept on looking for something that will comfort them.
Until now that this new rule allows for an attestation to be obtained for the benefit of those who are affected by a loss of such certificate. But it seems some are not even happy that such an avenue has become available to shut them up for good. You shouldn't be surprised. Those poverty stricken unfortunate folks will rather their parents die in sickness than for an health care aid that has anything to do with pmb or this administration. They will rather remain in penury than for the system to benefit all economically including themselves as this will paint PMB and this administration in good light. |

TonyeBarcanista: Sir, he said his certificate is with the military board, all he had to do is to go collect from them. If they insist that they misplaced it, he can use the official response to demand for a Certified True Copy of same Certificate.
Why say it's with the military (the military said they have no such record) and at same time obtain another from WAEC? It doesn't look right Sir So you now want CERTIFIED TRUE COPY now abi? so the certified true copy (of a certificate that is probably lost during the 1985 coup when his house was bungled abi you get photocopy for your hand) now supersedes what he has being given by WAEC or the attested STATEMENT OF RESULTS or Cambridge confirmation of PMB's grades as contained in their records? The Army spokesman said sometime this week that they cannot ascertain what obtained in the 60s. They cannot categorically say if the certificate was actually missing in their archives or elsewhere or if the Army as at that time did indeed collect and have his certificate in their custody. But available records shows he has O level with the stated grades as those in his statement of results and Cambridge confirmation. If he didn't submit his credentials to the Army during conscription, where did the Army get the grades filled in his recruitment forms? That in itself is an indication that the Army was in receipt of his O level certificate or result during conscription. The Army's "denial" or otherwise of having his certificate CANNOT be used as a basis for his being guilty of perjury based on his affidavit. This isn't even a perjury trial, he was compelled to present his O level certificate or show evidence of having one and he has gone through all legal channels to prove that. His O level certificate was lost, available records show he sat and wrote the exam in the 60s with certain grades which has been confirmed by the school he wrote the exam with an attested STATEMENT OF RESULTS, the Cambridge University exams body and the WAEC that conducted the exam for Cambridge University. You are bigger than this silly antics that is meant for mischief makers who have just an incohate grasp, knowledge and awareness of political happenings. |

Politics › Re: Buhari's Military Legacy At Risk If WASSCE Truth Comes Out by jaymichael(m): 8:23pm On Oct 30, 2018 |
Shayetet13: Buhari is fighting tooth and nail to ensure that the truth about his WASSCE doesn't emerge. Reasons being that, truth be told, Buhari doesn't have a WASSCE certificate. But his Military Legacy could be at risk if discovered because he entered the military based on recommendations without eventually sitting for the examination and peradventure he sat for the exams, he did not get the required credit qualification. The basic qualification of Army entry is WASSCE and the candidate must have credit in English, Maths and other few subjects. Ideally, he should be stripped of his military achievements and denied of any military recognition. It is a common practice all over the world when it is discovered that the basis of attainment of any achievement is fraudulent. For instance, in Nigeria, if one bags a PHD certificate and it is discovered that his WASSCE was forged, he forfeits all his educational attainment from bachelors to PHD. If the truth about Buhari's entry into the Army is discovered, Nigerians may push for him to be stripped of his Military achievements and attainments, which would be the proper thing to do in these circumstances. So the risk of finding out the truth about Buhari's WASSCE is beyond politics and the truth is that many people especially in the North were affected by this and as a result, it will be very difficult for the truth to be unveiled. So since they were killed during Jonathan's time, they should continue to be killed? My comment is devoid of political affiliations. The day we'll get it right in Nigeria is the day we start treating human life as sacred.
People die gruesomely and people are not even moved anymore, so sad.. If they were killed during the last administration, and they were still being killed Now, that shows you that the group has been terrible and troublesome for a very long time. About you not being partisan, it shows how selective your sense of "non partisanship" is. You blamed the PMB's administration for killing the Shiite members while keeping mute about the nuisance caused by the group and how GEJ's administration killed them also. |

Travel › Re: Niger Republic Dumps Nigeria, Opts For Ghana, Cotonou Ports by jaymichael(m): 12:05pm On Oct 15, 2018 |
Dee60: The case with Nigerian ports is pathetic.
They are handling fewer volumes than before but are taking longer time to do so. This is a huge cost to the consuming public as port delays lead to higher charges and will be ultimately paid for by the consuming public. It takes between 24 and 72 hours to clear cargoes in Cotonou and Lome. There they measure in hours, like any other good port in the world. In Nigeria, we measure in weeks. it takes anything from 2 weeks to 7 weeks (or 7 weeks plus) to clear goods in Nigeria. It is one of the worst port records in the world! I wonder how our government has looked away from what is considered the gateway to the economy. The delay starts with the ports who will take 2-3 days to stack the full containers. The shipping companies have grown wings in this regime. They will take anything from 3-7 days just to create invoices. They make demurrage income by causing these delays. They sometimes put wrong details in their records and make you pay for it, in the form of amendment costs, which can also cause another 3 days. Then you go to wait for another invoice from the terminals. And the story goes on! Some of the invoices are created in India (by outsourcing) and they can tell you there is nothing they can do to hasten the process. Meanwhile, our government agencies look away. They are also too interested in making their own incomes and have less interest in the process. Then delay with Customs, delay with SON and so on. When you finish with all the bottlenecks in the ports you now face the Apapa transport gridlock that has now lasted more than 5 whole years. We are such an unserious bunch of people! The last time anyone tried to change the system was when Okonjo Iweala forced several changes. Since then the lackadaisical approach has returned. The government needs real professionals to sit and review the process. Their fraternal approach of employing incompetent townsmen has not solved the problem. Shipper's Council is seen to be ineffective. Our ports can earn as good as crude oil if we do our homework. Dubai and Singapore economies became world economies because of their ports. New York Port is so rich that it owns a lot of the posh properties in Manhattan. When are we going to wake from this slumber, or is it a coma? Even Niger is now sidelining us! Wake up, Nigeria. You have said it all. Our ports these days are like "Sobibor" I just found out through APMT termview that the container I loaded on Wednesday, the empty has been returned back to APMT this morning (5 days after delivery) . I even have to thank the driver that he tried and the return was fast despite the fact that I will be surcharged #30,000.00k for wrong empty return location as he was supposed to return the empty at MIGFO TERMINAL Sanya. The last container I loaded at PORTS & CARGO TINCAN was 11days. MSC demmurage for 20ft is 10k per day plus VAT (#115,500.00k). Check the maths and see how much customers loss customers incure due to all these wahala. Untop of all these, those useless FOU wahala at Mile 2 and Area B will be added. Imagine NCIS system that is supposed to ensure and automated and seamless transactions is being used by the customs and security agencies to block your consignment from the system and extort money from you. Our greed will not allow government policies to work well, no matter how good the designed policies are. |

As for me, I like Peter Obi he is one of the first class governors we have in Nigeria, I rank him in the same league as Fashola, Donald Duke kwakwaso etc but Peter Obi also manage to achieve those thing without putting his state in debt like Fashola and Donald Duke.
Anyway I won't even vote for APC or PDP they are one and the same. I'm casting my vote for Donald duke. You are right about Obi, a very prudent administrator. about Fashola and debt, Lagos with it's cosmopolitan nature and higher population, the need for infrastructures like road maintenance and construction, health care, education etc is many times higher and puts a very big strain on scarce resources. Peter Obi can achieve much because Nigerian Governors are "emperors" they have the state house of assembly in their pockets. In the Federal level, it is a different ball game entirely. The President can't even REDUCE his own salary as every penny he spends and receives must be appropriated. Many of his actions must be RATIFIED by Parliament. He cannot RESTRUCTURE the country for his convenient administration, that is a constitutional issue, he lacks the power. He cannot sanction or sack even a civil servant, that rests with the Civil Service Commission. It is as if the country is structured to be at the mercy of people who are determined to see it plundered to the bones. If the President's powers are this limited, what can even the VP do? I don't see Peter Obi replicating his achievements when he was a Governor as Vice President. |
