DavidEsq:
So u are telling me that it's OK for me to trust someone who comes to my house with a gun and a plate of food? Pls point out in this natural instinct to survive, which is in-built in humans.
Your interpretation of another's intent is your own prerogative. It is not gonna change facts. Are you gonna tell me that spreading lies and baseless rumors is a justification for your perceived mistrust or lack of understanding of another's intentions?
The Army has said they are not carrying out any immunization and the people spreading the lies have not given a single proof of anyone immunized either forcefully or willingly.

DavidEsq:
My brother, without coming to a conclusion about the intent behind this immunisation, let me ask u a simple question:
Someone came to ur house and murdered some of ur family members today. Tomorrow, that same someone abi person who has been beating his chest to deal with u, comes to ur house telling u he wants to give u food. Tell me, brother, how wld u view such an act of such person?
The free medical outreach was part of operation python dance 2 and it was so announced right from the onset.
It is not the first time the Army has conducted operations in the country, neither is it the first time the Army is carrying out free medical programme.
Leave parochial sentiments, was the baseless allegations true or not. Was there evidence to support the allegations?
All these excuses about immunization cannot justify or cover the shame of a people so gullible to believe a baseless, malicious rumour laced with innate hatred.

Customer80:
are you believing the people or the army who are lying
Do you have evidence of anyone vaccinated by the Army? Do have evidence of the Army going around the schools forcing people and children to take compulsory treatment?
Do you know anyone that have died as a result of the Army's free treatment?
Do you have evidence that immunization is part of the medical outreach?
All these lies about immunization will not do enough to save face from the shameful display of ignorance by those folks who could be easily deceived by a mere rumor that negates every principle of common sense.

The so called vaccination is not necessary because there's no ongoing vaccination currently done by the ministry of health, Nigeria army doesn't have any right to give vaccine to any kid without the consent of their parents
Did you read the article at all? Where was it stated that the military is carrying out any vaccination? The Army had stated repeatedly that they are not carrying out any vaccination and the people running with being pursued hasn't provided any evidence of anyone being vaccinated.

What did they carry out?
And why not go through the proper channels before carrying their free medical whatever?
What awareness was created?
So, as a parent I should allow the Army Medical Outreach to carry out whatever they wish to carry out on children just because it's the Army?
The Army did not carry out any medical actions to arm children and they did not inject any child without their parents consent. Awareness was created except you choose to accept the unfounded rumors being spread by hate agents and mischievous elements.

Mr. educated dumb head are you trying to say that the army can just wake up one day and start immunizing people with unknown nameless vaccines without creating public awareness? forcing people on the process? the only people that will not question the army actions are the ones dumb, just imaging been one of the kids in school and coming to immunize you... dark faced red eyes soldiers holding string and injection instinct will lead you
The Army did not carry out any immunization. You people should stop spreading fake rumors and justifying the reaction of the people based on hatred, mistrust and ignorance.

ChimaAgbalajob:
I am still wondering why the army will be administering vaccines to children in a region where there is no mass outbreak of communicable diseases.

The most ridiculous part is that even UNICEF data shows Southeast is a region leading the north in immunization coverage ! Doesn't common sense dictate that you go to areas where there is poor immunization coverage for such exercises ? Why go to an area with almost 100% immunization coverage?

View this whole sordid activity against the backdrop of the hate speeches made by this administration against the Igbos as recently as October 1st this year. Not to mention the removal of the region from any infrastructural development agenda of the Buhari regime and purging of the military of Igbo officers and men. Let us even forget about the extra judicial executions, sudden disappearances of people kidnapped at night by military since their python dance II started.

This all reveals the sinister intentions behind the evil plot to suddenly "vaccinate" children against some monkey pox or some farse. They are out to cleanse their hated "enemies" using chemicals and viruses instead of bullets. Of course, starting with the little children who cannot resist.

I can only imagine their next move now that this plot has been exposed.
The Army is not vaccinating anyone. The Army has clarified that they are not carrying out any vaccination exercise as part of the medical outreach of Operation Python Dance 2.

When this happens, to other ethnic groups, there won't be a distinction between the separatist agitators and other Igbos. The Igbos nationwide will be targets of reprisal attacks. Think about your decisions properly and be ready for any consequences of your actions.

The 'pigs and idiots' may pretend to forget but we don't. You said with your tongue that a particular ethnic group was the pillar of your administration (other groups are not important or are mere spectators) while the elders of a particular ethnic group behaves like motor park touts. Your wife said the Northerners are Almajiris and "born throwaway" Your administration and political party labelled the APC as supporter of APC, bloodsucking, Islamic party.
These are just a few of what you and your party did to 'checkmated' ethnic tension in the country.

[quote author=DrChukzy post=They are looking for every way to cover face.

So it will look like they are conducting the exercise all over the country. Stupid NA[/quote]The military has no reason to cover or save face. The question you should be asking is if the deployment (which is the prerogative of the (C-in-C) is legal. As for the Operation in the South east, that is a very welcome development to correct the activities of a group of people who have abrogated unto themselves the power of state within a state.
*DISREGARD FOR CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY.
* FORMING OF SECURITY FORCES (BSS and BIAFRA NATIONAL OR COAST GUARD) WITHIN A STATE
*SETTING UP OF ILLEGAL ROAD BLOCKS ALL OVER THE REGION.
* FORCEFUL COLLECTION OF ILLEGAL LEVIES AND TAXES FROM THE POPULACE.
* SOLICITING FOR DONATIONS WITH INTENT TO PROCURE AND STOCKPILE ARMS TO DESTROY NIGERIA.
* CALL FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST OTHER TRIBE
HAUSA AND YORUBA CITIZENS ESPECIALLY.
* PROMISE OF GOING TO ABUJA TO EXECUTE THE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA.
* CALL TO KILL OTHER CITIZENS AND BURN DOWN THE COUNTRY THEY CALL ZOO.
* ATTACKING THE MILITARY PARADING IN NIGERIA'S TERRITORY AFTER BEING LEGALLY DEPLOYED TO DO SO.
Military operations have been deployed previously all over the country without issues of the populace attacking them. The right to self determination is an inalienable rights of ethnic groups as enshrined in the UN charter but when it is being championed with a threat to the survival of other states, regions and other ethnic groups, there will be the kind of backlash IPOB faced.
The question we should ask again is that have their been an OFFICIAL proposal to succeed submitted to the central government and other federating units that make up the entity called NIGERIA?
