Sektion:I have known carlcare services to be wack. It is just unfortunate, shameful and disgraceful that these people don't take responsibility for their devices' faults which isn't t the fault of the users. |
tgmservice:I have learnt a lesson jare. It won't happen next time. |
paperboy234:Ogbeni, no one is trying to kill infinix brand. I had an almost similar experience with my hot4 lite too. Overheating is the bane of this device. I could even smell burning ordour sef. Check my posts you will read up my experience. I bought from a reputable store at Ikeja computer village. |
Sektion:I did not see your thread earlier. The truth is that This Hot4 phones OVERHEAT while charging. You saw my post in the other thread. Mine overheated that I can perceive burning smell. This device should have come with a removable battery. Before anyone will say I bought fake, I bought from a reputable store (name withheld as them no pay me for advert) at Ikeja computer village. Truth is that hot4 is an hotplate. |
Sektion:God bless you and I hope they get it fixed for you. I thank God that my panel didn't get fried. On a similar thread on nairaland here and on facebook about a lady's hot4 that exploded. Infinix and some people were labelling the phone as fake. I stated that though I didn't physically examine the device but it may not be fake as I had a similar scare that could have resulted in an explosion. Some idiots labelled my device as fake that I should shut up. I gave them a piece of my mind sha. I don't think I can buy a phone with a NON REMOVABLE BATTERY again |
tosyne2much:I was charging it and suddenly the phone got very hot and switched itself off. If the battery was removable, I would have just removed the battery for a few minutes and insert it back. It refused to switch on but the temperature keeps increasing that the back of the phone when you remove the cover can scald your lips. The temperature later reduced after like 2 hours and the phone switched back on but the battery was well drained. It was rejecting chargers until I formatted the phone and it started working properly again. This is one reason I don't like phones with NON REMOVABLE BATTERY very high battery temperature is prone to explosion and that was my major worry that evening. The issue could arise with any phones (not limited to infinix hot4 or the infinix brand) but the non removable battery design is a minus when issues like that arise that could have been solved with a quick removal and insertion of the battery. |
Infinix is not my favorite brand of phone and I had just one frightening experience with my hot4 lite, just once. Overall, it is an 'OK' piece of device. You are likely not gonna regret the User Experience. |
LalaLushness:STORY! |
Curdlebug:Go to Gionee CC center at Simbiat Abiola way comuter village Ikeja. You will get it there. |
Aba is a beautiful, well planned city built by the British. Lack of maintenance and indiscipline was what spoiled Aba. Remove the bad roads and the dirt, Aba is a beautiful town. |
Confused. |
taiwo4love:The camera on the exploded is placed the same location as the original hot 4 na, it seems whoever arranged the picture deliberately tweaked the picture. The front camera is located at the top left part of the phone, closer to the ear piece than what you circled in your seemingly original picture which is the FRONT FLASH. What you circled is the FRONT FLASH which is closer to the edge (left) of the phone. |
I just cannot quantity the love and respect I have for this woman. Madam due process. |
lankykenny20:It may not be fake. I have explained earlier on this thread how my hot4lite got so hot last week that if you put your lips at the back of the phone, it will burn you. My fear was that the phone shouldn't explode. I buy my phones from reputable stores, Slot, microstation and Finet in ikeja. I couldn't have bought fake phone there. This is the reason I don't like nin removable battery phones. |
"Bishop" dey nack egede. lol. That one go be S.N. "Desmond Tutu" o |
Sultty:What makes you think she is seeking attention? You are asking why yours hasn't exploded since last year, was the phone built to explode in the first place? It almost happened to mine and I just bought mine less than 2 months ago 39k @Finet Ikeja. On Friday The hotness was so much that I feared it exploding. The non removable makes it worse as the battery cannot be removed. |
bejust:No a replica. It is The same phone I use, It almost had a similar experience on Friday. The battery area got so hot that it can easily burn your lips and cheeks off. It happened for hours and I could not remove the battery as it is non removable. |
henrixx:I believe her story. Mine got so hot (as in very very very hot) on Friday I was afraid of it not exploding. I buy my phones from reputable stores in Ikeja. It could not have been fake. I regretted buying the hot 4 that day. |
Tolexander:Very possible, I almost had a similar experience with my Infinix hot4 Lite. On Friday evening, around 5.30 pm my phone just decided to start increasing its temperature which I found out was coming from the battery region. It go so hot that the phone turned off by itself and the temperature keeps on increasing, it got so hot that if you put the back to your lips it will burn it off and I could perceive the smell like burnt wire. The inbuilt battery makes it impossible for me to remove the battery. It stayed switched off for more than two hours. My prayers then was that it doesn't explode. I got home at night and I said "God you know I just bought this phone and it wasn't even budgeted for and You asked me to pay my tithe which I have been doing, don't let me suffer loss on this phone " I tried to switch back on like 30 minutes later and it miraculously turned on after several hours and numerous attempts. It was still very hot(but not like before) and my battery was draining fast. I had to format the phone before it came back to normal. It is working fine now but I noticed the battery performance has reduced a bit. This is my first infinix phone and I realized I should have gone for Gionee m5 mini that I had in mind to buy. The non removable inbuilt battery on the hot 4 is a big NO NO. |
NgeneUkwenu:Haba! calm down na. Respect the old man he might teach his child but he isn't responsible for how his child turns out. No matter how monkey ugly, na mama's pride. Dino isn't the WORST element in this political dispensation na (I don't support him and I don't like attitude and political leanings though) |
AustineCJ:Those are two different genres of literature. Soyinka writes PLAYS for stage performance. PLAY is different from PROSE. prose is story telling. Chinua Achebe writes and "tell" stories (although in a captivating way) . The writing styles is totally different. |

Graciousnaija:I think I heard the Governor say IBILE is the acronym for IKORODU BADAGRY IBEJU-LEKKI LAGOS ISLAND and EPE divisions of the state. |
Mustack:Those apps apps works fine on some phones than others. |
Ebubemg:Thanks, I will go to Ikeja post office on Monday to check. |
Ebubemg:Thanks, when it gets to the post office, which document am I gonna tender? |
Ebubemg:Please how long did the delivery take and how did you receive your package, is it trough the post office? I ordered something on Aliexpress too with free shipping via china Post ordinary small packet plus. Tracking isn't showing anything again and I don't know if it has arrived Nigeria and how to retrieve my package. |
Teophilus96:If the charger charges your phone fast, you have nothing to worry about. These Ampere apps don't work for all devices. The readings might be wrong for some devices. The same Ampere and charger tester apps that shows accurate readings on my former gionee m3mini also reads discharging whenever I plug the same charge to my tablet. The same charge will display like 1946ma immediately I plug it to my current hot 4 lite it, the reading will start dropping till it gets to 0MA despite the fact that it is charging and gaining Power. |
