Good morning house, please I need your advice on this Australian journey, I have read the threads and am up to date to some extent but still need clarifications. I have a B.Eng in Agric Engineering and an M.Sc in Environmental Engineering but have been working as a banker(operations department) with 5yrs experience, from what I got from EA site I am supposed to provide relevant experience in my field of study(Engineering) which I don't have apart from the 1yr nysc i did with Nigerian Bottling Company, at this point i need advice on what i am supposed to do? which of the occupations should i choose? If anyone have or had this experience please advice a brother. @Bellong and other elders pls advice me.

O' contrary, EA doesn't make employment in your field mandatory to assess you. If you read the thread or the EA MSA booklet you can complete the CDR application by writing career episode based on undergraduate studies, research, projects, SIWES.

What you need to be sure of now is if the course in your transcript will cover for u if assessing as an environmental engineer professional or not. That your Agric Engineering is what I don't know what it really entails. What kind of courses were taken?

If you ran Uber/Taxify yourself, and wanted to give your car out to a Driver, Would you collect Daily or Weekly payments?

From your experience, which payment method do you think would be easier to meet?

I am asking this because I Have 2 cars to put on the platforms, however, I am looking at the best possible method to make life FAIR not EASY for both myself and my driver. So DAILY (N6,000 - N6,500) or WEEKLY (42-45k)

No one is springing up for now, as all the occupations on prorata are well defined.

I really don't have much light to throw than what has been stated before. Ask vetassess people if there is a way to reassess and if it makes sense to them who are familiar with vetassess itself. Just so u can inuclide your masters and up your qualification assessment, then your application might be +ve. Cos from ur write up, u gat necessary experience.

I was contacted the 15th day, some actually got their outcome within 18 days.

So this EA people gat me thinking, can't they ever complete the assessment within the alloted 15days or the 15days must elapse before they even assign someone's file. Because after paying for "fast track" the latter will be disappointing.

Must applicant always send them mails before they forward your outcome?

My Msc is not Archi directly did it in Urban design so i decided to be silent about it since i have not even collected the certificate

I feel strongly u should have mentioned it anyways, just to beat the 4-5year brouhaha. And then leave whoever is assessing to either relate it to construction role or not.

If there is a way u can reassess by including it at a cheaper rate, u might wanna give it a shot.

We can now see some 65 pointers invited In the next round since 4 prorata occupation are close to clearing 70pointers. Namely:
●Computer Network Professionals;
●Electronics Engineer;
●MECHANICAL Engineer;
●Software and App programmers .

Only the DOE of the 65 pointers in theses occupations will matter in a bit. Tuesday is almost upon us

60 trips for guaranteed 90k isnt an incentive. it's a gimmick to make drivers drive. i do over 60 trips weekly since i can remember. any driver that does above 60 trips knows that he surpasses 90k by the time he is on 60.

No so true. Uber fare is an average of 1000 per trip, last time I completed 40 trips in the week, my net was around 43k

I think the problem was basically with your degree, so they just negated every other thing. Seems your school are one of those that they don't assess as equal to Australia. Did u complete the MSc level of achitecture or u did only 4yrs? Cos your MSc woulda made the total study year 6

As for me, I can't go from frying pan (Nigeria, where I dey manage something meaningful) to a state that has no guarantee, (Tasmania)

Hello happy people, so if a driver wants to swap partner/change his car and uber is yet to effect the change after he has submitted the form, is it advisable to start driving the new car even though it's the old one that's still showing on the drivers profile

Plus, during the course of filling the swap form, uber stated driver can continue driving with old partner detail. Won't riders be skeptical about the car u pick them in?

Please what does the stream1 or stream 2 denote? And Ho do they allot them?

Guess you are writing what you don't mean.
No implication though, was just asking. Learnt it's better to specify states when filling out the forms, perhaps it aids quick selection .who knows?

I submitted for state and regional, 60 and 65 respectively. 55 at Federal anyway. I filled in my IELTS (competent) into it, pending my PTE

Hope you selected specific states?
Did u select specific regions or you just threw it open?
