btsnm: I see, but were they deducting the pension and PAYE from your salaries? Do you have payslips that shows these? If your pension contributions were remitted I suppose you can generate a statement from your PFA directly. You can try to assess with the pension statement if gotten and make explanation for tax certificate omission, it could fly-(at least you'd be presenting ref letter; payslips, bank statement, pension).I think an applicant once notified the authorities that the State where he worked didn't issue tax certificates at the time and they cleared him. You must just try. ***NB follow Bellong's advice of visiting IRS to see if you can get the certificates. That way you're rest assured |

flyca: If your are assessing as an engineering draftperson or technician, then you have the option of vet assess. But if it's professional engineer or engineering Technologist then Engineers Australia is the way to go. For 190 nominations certain states require you to visit their website and apply individually while some can nominate your EOI from the central skillselect system. You need to research to this effect. btsnm: Did u work in the same organisation for the whole 7 years. If yes, Early and recent payslip and bank statement can corroborate whatever reasons you have for not being able to get other years for tax and pension. But if it's different organisations at different times, then u would need tax cerficate for each employment period in the different work places. |

btsnm: If your wish to claim skilled employment points and have the relevant supporting docs (reference letter, payslips, bank statement, tax certificate, pension statement) to assess the whole 7 years, please carry on with both CDR and skilled employment assessment, this will enable you claim 10points now or 15pts after 8 years if your full 7 years are assessed positively. The norm where in people save some bucks by not assessing employment with EA and leaving it to the VISA officer seems to be outdated, as we have CO's asking visa applicants to go assess the employment with the assessing authority first. Better to be on the safe side to avoid avoidable CO contacts 1 Like |

btsnm: The normal pathway is the standard CDR if your degree isn't from a university under the Washington or Dublin accord option. If you have skilled work experience to claim, it's advisable you also assess the relevant skilled employment alongside your qualification (standard CDR), if no experience to be claimed just select Standard CDR only, u can also fast track for swifter processing. Cheers |
