Thank you sir for your reply
Is it the experience in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering or the one i had as a marketer in insurance. Which is the one i will use for the CDR?
Sir Bellong pls check your email, i sent you message.
God bless you more sir!
I really appreciate your help here.

Why would you wanna use a Marketer in Insurance industry experience to write an engineering CDR

Pls anyone in the house who is a civil engineer to advice. I have HND in civil engineering, then postgraduate diploma from federal university of technology Minna. I have 8 yrs experience. Can I go for civil engineer?
was the 8yrs experience after gaining the postgraduate diploma? If yes then I think you can shoot for civil engineer and get positive. But if you don't need to claim the years of experience for pi I t purposes then you can still give it a shot. I'd not civil engineer draftperson will be your best bet

Thought some people said 100k is achieveable if one tends to sleep only when S/he is dead?
of course it is, but it depends on your wages too. Full time work is 35-38 hours a week. I have seen people work 60-70 hours a week so yes if you tend to sleep only when you're dead it is achievable. But in this case we're talk i n't about regions not cities with limited opportunities.

As long as the marriage will not take you away from the regional area before 3 years, they are fine with it.

The 491 regional scheme is better as it offers the opportunity to move to any regional area across Australia without restriction.

The 489 as well doesn't necessarily restrict holders from moving across regions, just the clauses that States have added in nominating applicants for the 489 that give them obligation. Will DHA be nominating applicants directly for this new visa?

491 – Skilled Worker Regional Provisional visa

· Points tested , (commences 16th November 2019)
· 16,000 places allocated each year , 500 different occupations
· Replaces 489 family and state sponsored visas
· Must be sponsored by an eligible relative or state authority
· Visa will be granted for initially 5 years
· Must live and work for 3 years in regional areas to get Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) 191 Visa
· Will need to earn for those 3 years a minimum income each year (not announced yet) (possibly 50-60k)
· Can move between regions and change occupations
· Cannot apply for any other skilled PR or 820 partner visa for 3 years
· Regional Australia is everywhere except Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast

DHA have announced their application fees  ($4045 main applicant, $2025 spouse, $1010 children).

This would be like asking the person to be working full-time for the 3 years oh if one is to earn $50k minimum.
Maybe minimum above free tax threshold but not 50-60k a year

@OgaBellong
Please, House I want more clarification on boosting my points. In March 2017 my assessment with Vetasses was positive with 5.1 years of work experience as a chemist. can I resubmit my outcome letter for reassessment to add the additional two years and 9month on the same occupation? This will give me additional 15points.
I need a respond house.

bellong:

You don't need to resubmit as long as you are still in the same occupation. Create EOI, add your skill date from when VETASSES approved till date.

And you better hurry up, or won't the assessment expiry once it hits 3 years? No need to reassess as Bellong as stated

i have similar experience/qualification but i read electrical engineering, though i have HND. i initially wanted to go for engineering draftperson to reduce the competition and give me a better chance but right now, drafteperson is assessed by Engineers australia. is this also a skilled level 1 occupation? what other option can u suggest?

You can still go for draftperson. It's skill level 2 and you have some states nominating the occupation as well just in case.

Kudos to everybody helping out in this thread.

I am 30 years of age (30 points). BS.c degree holder (15 Points). 45 points on ground for now.

My questions and challenges are.

1. Started working as an Information System Engineer at my previous work place immediately after finishing my Undergraduate exam in school, i also my ghost my service year and serve with the company with my work experience with this first company (April 2015-June 2017) before leaving to work at my present work place as a network engineer from July 2017--till date, can i claim that to be 3yrs + work experience.

My undergraduate degree was electronic and Electrical engineering, am i to do assessment with Australia Engineer or ACS.

Also am still single.

If you have the requisite verification documents such as: reference letters, payslips, tax, pension, employment/contract letter, then I believe u can claim 3+years. I don't think your assessor would be particular that you skipped service year, abi who NYSC help?

Even a driver on rental can have such and still be on rental. What is good for the goose...

There you go again, birds of same feather supporting each other , i never said i wanted a case, Uber should just train drivers better, i am also a seldom driver on the platform which is why i brought the topic up here, I have already called the driver in question and he was apologizing which i have recorded , i aksed him over the phone if my wife told him she was married and he acknowledge but according to him he was only trying to be friendly and realized he took it too far by asking for a hug at the end of the trip. I don't have time for any case so idiot like you looking for proof can take a back seat.

Haven't you ever heard of the punchline "you lack home training". Not everyone allows the training to pass through them, uber have tried their utmost but pervs will be pervs.
