They manufacturers of brand new car that give warranty of 2years or 100,000km "whichever comes first" aren't stupid. They made these cars and they know what's up. While in 2yrs the car might only have driven 50,000km depending on the owners movements, the 100,000km can be elapsed in 2months. After which nothing for you.
Again be wise. |

entparrot: Truth is bitter.
Many investors are shying away because of drivers cheating. If you go to Uber office, plenty of drivers hanging around with no cars. I recognize a particular guy, he has been there @least 3months.
Of course I don't expect my driver to make 35k everyday, @least weekend money is enough to cover the rent, and then the rest he made during the week belongs to him.
Yes, I complained about Uber and I have quit Uber, but that doesn't mean people don't make money with Uber, or can't deliver 40k weekly,.
Owners are suppose to demand for more money under Uber, because cars are used more.
Tell me which company in Nigeria pays 20k weekly? 80k monthly minimum...
If you like be a doctor or lawyer, I don't care, wat u choose to do right now is to drive, so you are a driver, try to be honest about it.
You felt 20k weekly is poor for drivers, why not go and get ur own car, then you increase ur earning to 60k weekly. Or ask ur kinsmen or church to buy you a car free.
The amount of wait time, facing traffic or insults from riders is part of the job, so go to work and stop sharing ur frustration, is all about making money.
Haven't you scolded a bank cashier b4, or pressure them to hurry and answer you, or shout @ a Nepa officials for cutting ur light? Or even scold them for low power supply yet they are demanding money, as if the money you are paying directly goes to their pockets.
Listen in every job there is frustration, which you must face in other to survive.
Don't justify ur cheating act, because of the job nature, you were given the job description b4 u start.
I have driven under Uber platform and Im sharing my experience to all owners, don't let drivers deceive u, 40k is the least you should demand for, and ask for 40k deposit, if he doesn't have money request for daily payment, so if he will cheat, he won't cheat you more than a day. You will just lead unnoticing partners astray. Daily pay? Deposit ? I will like to believe you have worked in a corporate organisation before the advent of e-hailing services, and I can bet your coy dint make you work 14-15hours a day for 7days just to make 30k as take home per week. Because if they did, you probably won't be here typing all of these. Be realistic abeg. As a driver, the days I work up to 12 hours in the week can't be more than 3, other days are just 8-10hours. If not, all the money one makes will be spent on medications in due course. Demanding high fares for rental has only made it imperative that the driver will drive your goddamn car to its death...then you will begin to complain that the driver is reckless, everyday fault; what car owners don't understand about these machines is the more they are on the road, the more susceptible they are to breakdowns. Let be wise and fair. 35k is fair in my opinion |

chillex8: Maybe the parrot owns a hybrid. No one cared to ask Maybe sha, but even though, the starts/stops between trip will almost finish the 2k fuel. More so, that driver must have driven approx. 350km to make that amount on the said day |

entparrot: Oga, I'm on the road...
For those of you who don't know, taxify is very lucrative on weekends, you get request after request non stop until you go offline.
2k fuel to make 35k on weekends is so easy with taxify, with taxify you go only 2km or less for pick up, and drive the rider to his or her destination. With a good rate and less % cut.
I registered taxify last week and I regretted why I haven't done so for long. The bone of contention here isn't whether or not taxify is lucrative on weekend but the fact that 35k cannot be derived from a fuel of 2k (approx 14liters), provided the station's pump is running legit. Perhaps the driver already had reasonably amount of fuel in his tank, and only added a top up of 2k. |

entparrot: Stop trying to cheat car owners, 40k should be the least car owners should get.
If you drive 10 - 12hours for 6days, you will make minimum of 60-70k minus fuel money. So drivers are taking home 20-30k minimum weekly, after paying 40k weekly rental.
I have driven Uber and taxify, only weekends money is enough to cover ur car rental.
Last week Saturday my driver made 35k on taxify with 2k fuel.
The more you are trying to cheat car owners, the more you will discourage new investors, the more drivers will be jobless. 35k from 2k fuel is the only thing I saw and I'm not buying the story...not even with a 1.0L engine the cherryQQ or picanto. Easy with the zobo |

chillex8: Yea, sure.
It's a one time payment.
When you are done with the driver and he finds another partner you get refunded your 10k. so if the driver don't find another partner nko? You don't get refunded? Actually the 10k deduction was borne by me. Still completed the partner's weekly rental pay, he would be ripping me off my 10k if I eventually leave? |

chillex8: He will pay it
Once the old driver leaves his former partner the 10k goes back to The partner.
New partner pays for the "already done verification".
It's a closed system. So uber always refunds the 10k, thought it's a one time payment |

While you'll need a bunch of professional lawyers to interpret this act/law as always is the case with our naija acts/laws/constitution, I can interpret as a layman that the act deters expression and association as gay. And our madam in this case was expressing and associating with a third party as gay.... In the end nothing will come out of the headline, after all the bobo never talk him own. |

kerryjossy: The way Nigerians reason sometimes shaa For God's sake, the lady is an adult and as such have every right to discus such with the driver who is equally an adult. That doesnt give the driver any right to assault her.
In the course of the discussion, did the girl touch the driver's private part?? Hell no!. So nothing, absolutely nothing gives the driver the right to touch her bossom.
Some people will now come here and tell us that its the girl's fault...she shouldn't have discussed such with the driver. Nonsense.
If the lady is a victim of sexual assault today, it could be someone related to you tomorrow. So its better y'all call a spade a spade and lets join hands together and fight sexual assault!!! Just curious, does this mean the girl must always be the first to touch? The guy screwed up, but touching in any direction must be a thing of mutual acceptance oh my dear. But if the anti-gay law is in force then the baebe sef should be taken in. |

Let me know if we can meet then you can see them with your eyes before making a decisions.
Thanks I expect you to be the man your signature depicts you as. Don't give up cos fate brought about a few bad eggs. Also, 400K on both cars in 2months seems unfair. You should be getting around 300k on both cars per month |

uchenna2017: Me too they even wrote you must show up to 5 to 8 job advert that is not more than 6weeks old. Also you should not go for something lower than your occupation eg nominate for customer service manager and bring advert for customer service representative it will not fly.
But it's for 489 requirement don't know of 190 if you must have a job offer or not.
All the same people still get it, the truth is insurance job are hard to find didn't see a single advert not to talk of getting 5 job placement to submit.
Whatever you want go for it and believe that your case is different.
Best of luck. Are you saying Tasmania will accept job advert placements in place of a proper letter of offer of employment to nominate applicants? |
