U don’t have a problem, I have done this before at iyana oworo bustop. It was early in d morning, I was trying to get some passengers to ajah to make up for my fuel but a particular policeman forced his way into my car and told me to park. He started demanding for my key. He said if I don’t give him d key, he won’t listen to me. I stylishly removed the car key from d bunch of keys while I was still pleading with him and gave him d rest. The foolish guy just left me there to go arrest another car. In his mind, he’s impounded my car. I just enter my car and drove off. Na my house key I give am

A blue command page will appear, at the bottom left of the page, find "calibrate compass" click on it. If ur compass is accurate it will say: compass accuracy: HIGH. If it is not, den u have to do d tilting/calibrating.

Disclaimer; most low ends tecno, infinix phones dont have compass

Compass accuracy says low. I Don try calibrate tire, mbanu.

Hi everyone. I am new here. Only joined recently. And I have read up lots of information here and I must confess, it has been really helpful. I commend you all for your efforts and creating this thread. The info here is rich. Thanks to you all. I'd like to ask concerning the work experience/skilled employment. Requirement states that one should have skilled employment in the last 10 years in your nominated skilled occupation before invitation to apply. So my question is, should the skilled employment to be claimed be related to one's field of study/line of profession? I have not had much work experience. I have been studying for a while now. I have just 1year NYSC teaching experience and this is definitely not related my field of study. I have also been thinking along the lines of not declaring work experience since I won't be getting any points for it cos it's just 1 year. Is that even possible?
Would really appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks.

Not claiming any experience may be possible depending on the occupational nominated. Most times, only engineering occupations will fly

Calibrate your phone GPS by holding it flat and moving it in figure eight direction in such a way that the upper and lower curves of figure eight direction of your phone are held vertical during the movement.

Please is there a way you can make me better understand this?

Depends on airline. Most airlines will give you FOC hotel acomodation and food tickets. You can't roam about in the city without visa

It's not an overnight stop but dawn till dusk stop, thus, my inquiry for how to obtain a transit visa that allows the person roam. Maybe s(he) can tour abu dhabi rather than sitting tight for over 12hrs

Hey all, been a long time I visited this zone. Please, a quick one, what's the best way to obtain a transit visa.

If someone would be travelling and connecting via dubai/abu dhabi and there is over 12 hours stop, arriving early morning and leaving late night. Would just like to go around town without any hassles.

Thanks

Oh I see.

I agree the discounted ticket doesn't give much flexibility.
But still Emirates na Emirates sha grin grin

Egypt Air is the cheapest at 380k that I've seen

You can check gotogate and vayama for good deals. Also try booking the legs separately, combined routes sometimes cost more.

Have you been able to book via IOM to any mainland Australia state? What was the ticket price if so? Maybe I'd just do IOM for international and Online for local.

NB. The Egypt air ticket will have Etihad operating 1 or 2 trips, not so bad. Etihad is cool too I suppose

why not use IOM which offers better rate worth about about 49% discount (via emirates airline)
their Australia office can get you tickets within 48hrs unlike NG office.

No stops policy. I wan stop within the subcontinent for like 7 days. More so tickets from some of these online agents are less than 400k

How about if vehicle due to it's age is only available on Uber. What would you advice to make most of the 12 hours allotted?

Test vehicle for this hypothesis :- 2001 Toyota Camry

To make most of your 12hours, firstly avoid all those short short trips with multiple stops, once I rider informs you we are going here, then there, back her and there again. Just find way to discharge yourself after first stop.

Remain stationed after completing any trip, if you feel like repositioning then you must go offline till you get to your perceived favourable location. (For instance, you take a rider to ikorodu, where uber exist not, you will need to drive all the wy back to around mile12. So don't be online when doing that)

Target long distance trips and work during peak period. Keep 2 hours for your self just incase it starts to surge. You don't wanna be locked out cos u exceeded your 12hrs doing peanuts

Have I complained about the earnings and commission before Oga new school? Let me show you the transaction.
Don't be offended I thought they will only take their commission from my balance with them not the whole cash I collected.
I had 14k plus before the trip and I suppose they would take their commission alone not taking away the whole cash I collected from the rider.

Actually, I'm oldskool too but I understood uber accounting from the get go. Is worrisome you're just realising this is how the books have always been.

First of you're wrong to say they removed your earning from your balance rather than their commission. Now open your mind, your balance only grows when your take more card trips. The 2 trip details you highlighted were for same time and trip "7.55". You did a trip of 4664 out of which 3537 was your rightful earning, but your were paid 4664 by rider. Your balance was 11k+ before the trip and not the 14k+ your eyes are beaming on. Uber then added your rightful earnings of 3500 to previous balance but since ir was a cash trip and you already collected your pay n theirs together, do u expect dem to pay u twice? Mbanu!!

But they normal take their commission from my balance with them not taking my earnings as their commission.
Look at it very well, they were mistaken my earnings as their commission.

Oga they are not taking you earning in place of their commission. The commission they have deducted is the difference between the credit they gave you and the cash you received which they debited. You be oldskool driver, you should understand uber book-balancing by now. Their accounting is mostly impeccable. It's only the rounded off figures that uber uses to steall extra charges from drivers once a while
