Blueeyedboi: Oliseh you're stupid....infact you're mad...you know where we're coming from..we just sacked a coach that gave us the nations cup after 19years of asking en qualified us to the world cup..dude that should've told you we are desperate for results especially after missing the last nations cup as defending champions(first in history..I stand to be corrected)...you of all people should know that the last thing we need at this point is a disunited house yet you failed to handle a minor issue maturely..results don't lie..losing to Congo 2-0 lol...you goofed bro...might have dug your own grave with your hands.. We missed in '96 after Abacha prevented us from participating and we go got banned by CAF. Now its obvious that you and a lot of the Oliseh haters know next to nothing about football. You guys should think first before jumping on the band wagon. Alex Ferguson would sell his best players if he felt it was the best thing to do. Japp Stam, David Beckham, Ruud van Nistelroy, Cristiano Ronaldo just to mention a few (there are many others). Often Man U would suffer through a difficult season but they would always bounce back. As a player, the first word is professionalism and its no less so when the player in question is the captain. Just by the way, why would Oliseh be jealous of Enyeama? Compare their football pedigree, which is greater? Oliseh and co were among the people who paved the way for other Africans to ply their trades in Europe. Which clubs has Enyeama played for? Oliseh and others broke boundaries for players of today and someone is talking of jealousy? Don't even get me started abeg. |

Mellin: this is what I know and can do...
I fight evil with evil I bless the good people, I curse the bad ones I will never claim a life I didn't give I will balance the world as a whole
What I decree is what will happen All I try to do is not letting the powers take control of me which people are the ones pushing these powers to act.
U want to feel the truth in my statement. Give me a name of any of ur love ones or friends that's sick or battling one health problem or another, just a name.... Then u will understand what am saying.... I don't read books to learn what I know,... Books almost cost me my life that's why in my one if my thread I advice to open the 3rd eye in order to learn from our guardians... All I know right now and the powers in it came from one true primordial God of human race (ENKI) and my guardian nephilim GUSION..
The world will feel me soon when I will be out for shady politics going on in this country and the world as whole were a certain race feels it's their right to call the shots of what happens in Africa....
Just soon..... The earlier you see a doctor, the better. I'm not joking please. |

bjdon: What he's saying is that the Nigerian System makes people corrupt, even if they are good by Nature. My brother if you've never been in a govt position you will not know how hard it is. The corruption is all pervasive and all around you. There was story recently of a solider who was deployed to the Niger Detla, when they where out on patrol and encountered some oil smugglers, he witnessed his superior officer collect bribe from the smugglers. The officer proceeded to divide out the bribe among the men, and this soilder did not want to take his share. He was told in very clear terms that if he does not join in, then it means he can't be trusted.... you know what that means. In a country where the system works, that solider would have the confidence to go and report the matter to the Military police, but of course we all know he can't do that in Nigeria. So eventually the solider accept his share of the bribe. That is a clear example of a good person, being corrupted by the system. It is a very sad fact. When a good person does too many bad things as the good Reverend said, he can no longer be described as good. The Reverend misyarned just for the sake of it. I understand the point you made though. |

So,its not the individual but the system of teaching, like we said even a four years old boy/girl can learn with our system of teaching, we are very reasonable when it come to fee.

1 Corinthians 12 verse 1-11 New International Version (NIV)
Concerning Spiritual Gifts 12 Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, I am wise, but you wouldnt understand it to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, easy 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, easy too to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, I cant say I have this one 10 to another miraculous powers, I dont have this either to another prophecy, easy. I prophecy that you will eat before tomorrow is over to another distinguishing between spirits, I take pleasure in distinguishing between vodka, rum, brandy, whisky and other spirits to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues this one is somewhat x-rated Convinced? |
Travel › Re: A Discriminating Experience In Poland by jayriginal: 11:43am On Sep 22, 2015 |
Crieff: Your post is patronising. What else would you call it if not discrimination, security measure? So if he was the person in the video footage they saw and he threatened litigation, they will let him go away, right? It is what it is and it is not just despicable, it is repugnant.
What would you call Madcow1's recount? Its not discrimination if they had valid reasons for it and they were following security protocol. If they had no reasons for that other than the fact that he is black, then that is discrimination. How on earth you can conclude that the above is patronizing is beyond me. Keep sentiments aside please. Bear in mind that they claimed to have video footage which the OP didnt get to see as he was told that he would miss his flight if they had to show it to him. Perhaps you expect them to hold up the flight for him (anything else would be discriminatory right?). As difficult as it might seem to believe, some people have a hard time telling black people apart (like some people have a hard time telling some Asians apart). Perhaps someone else ( a person of color) dropped a bag at the airport and they thought it was him and decided to check! Perhaps they just wanted to harass him for no reason. Either way, we do not know enough to conclude that it is racism. At least the OP did not miss his flight. I missed mine but you dont hear me shout racism because I know the reason my passport was subjected to such intense scrutiny. |
Travel › Re: A Discriminating Experience In Poland by jayriginal: 9:33am On Sep 22, 2015 |
pansophist: If you examine the formulation of the initial post, you will easily deduce that I did not describe it as racism, calling it racism is solely your own interpretation. I even limited my opprobrium to the airport workers only, not Poland. You're right. Its the mods that changed it to "My Racism Experience". Most of our mods are illiterates and I'm not sorry to say that. They change topic titles in ways that expose their educational shortcomings and they abuse quotation marks with impunity. In this case though they may be right. Discrimination based on race is racism. So what you choose to call it is not as important as the meaning you are conveying. Back to you however, I wouldn't exactly call it discrimination as you prefer to call it. Its an unfortunate incident no doubt but unless it was uncalled for, its a security measure. If it can be proven that no one dropped a bag anywhere, then I'll stand firmly by you. However you said that when you demanded to see the tape, they told you that you'd miss your flight if they were to show it. At the end of the day, we don't know if you were discriminated against or not. |
