In a recent chat with Naij, popular Musician, Gabriel Oche-Amanyi revealed that he might soon quit secular music and become a man of God.

 

 

Terry G says fans should not be surprised when they see him preaching as there is already a prophecy about that happening.

 

 

The Ginja singer who started out as a gospel Musician and a chorister at popular Pentecostal Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God said;

 

 

“By God’s grace; it has been prophesied that God is going to use me to prophesy to multitudes, and I think I’m already doing that in a way, but when God calls me at the right time, I will go for it fully.”

 

 
Explaining why he moved from gospel to secular music in the first place, Terry G said;

 

 

 

“Sometimes, you need to put yourself in people’s shoes. When a preacher is preaching to you, and you already knew all what he was going to say, it might not sound interesting.

 

“I think God knows why He chose a path for everybody because if you look at it, everybody has done gospel music at some point; it worked for some people, and didn’t work for some. That is because we have different purposes in life. I’m only doing this (secular music) temporarily.”

Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri says that Sex demand from directors and producers for movie roles can not be called sexual harassment.


She begs to defer from other actress who cry out over sexual harassment cause they are not babies and they should be used to men asking them for sex on a regular basis as it happens in different sectors in the economy.


She said for one to go into Nollywood, organisation or firm to work you should be of age.



Ogiri said: “In the banking industry and every organisation they have them. In my industry, if a director, marketer or whatever asks you out and you said no, they take a walk. For me that is not harassment. They are making their intentions known to you and it is left to you if you are sensible enough, if you like or if you want to live such a life to say yes and play along with them.


Nobody in Nollywood is going to hold a gun to your head, no one is going to tell you that if you don’t sleep with them or have a relationship with them, they will kill you or you will no longer be part of Nigeria. If one doesn’t give you a job as an actress or actor, another person will give you. It is a collection of personalities and not just one person. Those people that say they are harassed sexually, they should actually tell you the real story.”



Sonia has featured in movies like ‘Okon’s Wedding’, ‘Cry with Me’, ‘When Tears Can’t Help’ among others.

Baby daddy rumors started swirling around after Patoranking shared this photo on Instagram. Some of the report says Patoranking has a new baby girl called Lily.

The reports are actually far from the truth as the baby belongs to his close friend who Pato mentioned in the caption @greenlightdistrict100.

A quick look at Pato’s friend account will show you that @greenlightdistrict100 shared that photo two days before calling Patoranking the baby’s uncle. See photo below as proof.



This is not the first time that the Nigeria media will give Patoranking a baby, as they have already tagged his younger brother @rapharankingfire as his son.

So Patoranking ain’t a baby daddy.

Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has revealed that she has been receiving threat messages ever since she reported the Nigerian man called Elvis Eze aka Elvis Casino that assulted her.

 

Yvonne Nelson was reportedly harrased by Elvis after she refused to hug him at friends party in Ghana.

According to NewsOne, Elevis and Yvonne with other celebrities were invited to actress Ingrid Alabi birthday party in Accra. Elvis joined Yvonne to take photos with the celebrant and others at the party. After the photos Elvis asked the star actress for a hug which she promptly turned down.

Elvis didn’t take the rejection well, and verbally asaaulted her and yelling; “Who are you? Who the f*ck do you think you are? Who do you think you are?.

When the actress couldn’t take the embarrassment, she dashed for her car but Elvis followed her and pushed her in the head.

 

Yvonne immediately reported the case to East Legon Police but Elvis is reportedly evading Arrest and is currently on the run.

Yvonne Nelson has now come out to reveal that she has been receiving threat messages for her to drop the police case or face Media consequences.

 

One of the messages sent to her reads: ‘…By tomorrow morning if we call Accra and find out that you have not closed that case you opened against our brother, then we will start our own news; I personally will make sure it happens…’

The actress said she further received a series of messages from a Nigerian number warning her to withdraw the case from the police station else she would be dealt with.

 

Recent report reaching us revealed that the actress has reported the threat messages to the Airport Police Station in Accra.

YBNL soldier, Lil Kesh in a chat with Pulse TV has begged the NBC board to cut him some slack.


The Shoki singer latest bit single, Gbese has just been hit with an airplay ban by the Broadcasting body and he has voiced his concern and hope they don’t ban new street hit, Efejoku.


Kesh said;


“I don’t see anything vulgar in ‘Gbese’ but I appreciate the ban after the song had blown, I could remember they banned ‘Shoki’ also when even JSS 2 students had it on their phones so their ban doesn’t make any difference but more controversy and putting my name out there again so no wahala”.

SoundcityTV have been on the receiving end of different backlash from various angles lately. It started when their ongoing fued with P-Square became public knowledge after they refused to play, their video even after Yemi Alade requested for it in her Top 10 countdown.

The popular music channel hasn’t played any video from P-Square since January, cause they turned down an offer to perform in their gig last December

Yesterday, veteran Nollywood actress, Shan George revealed that she was duped of 100,000 naira by Soundcity staffs which she paid for her son’s video.

Following these running battle with various entertainers, the former national President of PMAN, Tee Mac Itsheli, has lashed out at the cable company for the way they handled the music business in Nigeria, claiming that the company only play videos of those that pay heavily for airplay.

He also stated that the company has been extorting artiste for as high as 1 million naira to air your video.

Tee Mac who spoke in a phone chat with Tribune has sent a warning message to the station else they face the wrath of the new PMAN administration.

The former music executive also revealed that a petition has been filed in by a singer who claimed that they charge artistes heavily before airing their songs which he feels is unethical.

Tee Mac said;

“The station makes money from advertisement so that it can sustain itself. I don’t love the station because of the pornographic contents it feeds the young ones. If they play such bad videos ten times a day, young viewers will begin to take bad for good because nobody is condemning Soundcity. Those you see their videos being played on that station have paid heavily for it. What they do there is wrong.

“That is why the quality of music is reducing as they show thrash at these vulnerable young ones, while these sons of rich Nigerians continue to bribe their way to the top with their bad music. The expensive cars and nude girls they feature in their videos are used to sell their bad music. You pay N500,000 to be played and someone will call you less than a month after that you must come and pay another money as your money had been exhausted. Sometimes these guys pay as much as N1m for three months,” he stated.

Nigerian music icon, 2Face Idibia who was once a member of popular music group Plantashun Boiz said that he only got 10,000 naira for his first paid show and he had to even share that with his other group mates namely, Blackface and Faze.

In a chat with NET, as buildup to his coming birthday and concert, FORTIFIED, 2baba as he is called by his adoring fans, said the group got a contract in 1998 for the Rothmans Groove where they performed 31 shows at N10,000 per show.

He further disclosed they invested the payment into their album and the purchase of new clothes to fit their rising status.
