Critics are going hard on Toke Makinwa's fast selling book, 'On Becoming'. Now they are stating that the popular vlogger lied about details in the book, especially the one relating to the photos she saw of Maje and another lady on Facebook.

One of Toke's claim among many others was that Maje had cheated on her and impregnated his ex while he was married to her. Ace stand up comic, Seyi Law who recently had the dedication of his child in the US, just survived an attack from Hoodlums at the notorious Apongbon junction.

The comedian in the company of his friend on their way home got attacked after their car broke down at Apongbon. The hoodlums attacked his friend and stabbed him multiple times in order to steal their phones and money. Tho their attackers escaped before the arrival of the police, Seyi Law still shared the story on social media with a thankful heart for still being alive.

He wrote;

Let me just thank God for seeing me through all the challenges of the past month. Friends have not been able to get through to me due to the tedious schedules and happenings.
Finally, today I thought I was going home and having tomorrow all to myself to rest and catch up with friends only to have my car breakdown at Apongbon and some hoodlums attacked stabbing my friend in multiple places just because they wanted phones and money.
What would have become of me today? I am so grateful to God Almighty. They escaped before Police arrived, but I asked myself if people had come to our rescue and descended on the hoodlums wouldn't people say SEYILAW was involved in jungle justice? Hmmmmm.

Popular video director, Clarence Peter who got nominated for best music video category alongside, Banky W, Unlimited LA, Sesan and Meji Alabi in the coming Headies Award, is not happy with the award organisers who have totally ignored other names that have produced better videos within the year in view.
In a post on gram, Clarence mentioned, a lengthy list of video directors that should have also made the list.

The 6th edition of Africa International Film Festival kicked off yesterday with an opening ceremony at the new Filmhouse Imax in Lekki Phase1 . It was well attended by movie industry bigwigs such as RMD, Kate Henshaw, Rita Dominic, Kunle Afolayan, Falz, AY Comedian, Oc Ukeje, Adesua Etomi amongst others.

Quilox club has officially released a press statement of their own version of the case between their bouncer and music star, Oritsefemi with photo and video evidence.

At about 2am on Saturday, 13th of Nov. 2016, Oritsefemi came into Quilox without prior reservations or table bookings. Tables are allocated to customers who have made prior paid table bookings in advance of their arrival except such customer is a patron or member of the club.

However, Oritsefemi who did not fall into any of the categories above approached a patron's table-of-six, and pleaded to be accommodated, with the understanding that other guests of the said patron were still been expected.

In a surprising turn of events, Oristsemi who was drinking from the patrons bottle, attempted to sit 8 of his guests at the table, the surprised patron strongly rejected such effrontery and invited the bouncer guarding the floor to intervene.

The bouncer politely approached Oritsefemi and told him the patrons guests were still being expected, but Oristefemi, in a fit of unprovoked rage, slapped the bouncer then proceeded to breaking a glass in his hand and stabing him in the eye.

The scene quickly became rowdy as other customers rushed to the table and confronted the artiste for his violent behavior, our security team quickly stepped in to salvage the situation by carrying Oristefemi out of the club.

Oristefemi faced by an enraged crowd outside and perhaps realizing the gravity of his offense pretended to collapse. The artiste and the bouncer were subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital

The bouncer affected later pressed charges at Bar Beach police station, where Oritsefemi accepted his offense  and pleaded for mercy, he was granted bail at 12pm on the 13th of Nov. and advised  to report back to the station on Tues. 15th of Nov. 2016.

We were hesitant to release a press statement as several well meaning people have attempted to intercede on behalf of the artiste, but after his malicious and grossly false account of the events that occured, it is only fair that we defend the integrity and ethos of our organization.

The former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida is getting set to marry, Hausa Nollywood star, Ummi Ibrahim Zeezee, according to her Instagram post.

The actress has claimed that she was in a relationship with him for some time now, notably in 2013, when she granted an interview stating that IBB loved her and that she loved him too. She had earlier hinted on Facebook that the 75-year-old former military ruler was planning to marry her but that there were things to be sorted out first.
