This is a photo of the accident that confined popular gospel artiste, Yinka Ayefele to the wheelchair.

The accident occurred on a tragic afternoon on December 12, 1997.

19-years later, he remembered the event and shared the photo on social media thanking God for saving his life. Yinka Ayefele who was at that time a journalist started his music career after the accident and has since moved on to become one of the most prominent gospel singer in the country.

Popular Yoruba comic actor, Alhaji Nurudeen Babatunde Omidina (Baba Suwe) has confirmed the arrival of his son, Morenikeji Omidina from the United States of America in preparation for his Saturday, December 17, 2016 wedding (to his heartthrob, Adetoun).

The ceremony which will hold at the residence of the  bride’s father in Iwo, Osun state, is expected to attract dignitaries from home and abroad.

In a brief chat with Encomium, the Oluaye comedy, as Baba Suwe is also known, said, “Yes, the groom is in town. He came few days ago. We’re in  celebration mood already. On Saturday, we will all be in Iwo, Osun state to take our wife in accordance to islamic injunctions. I am a very happy man at the moment. It’s a thing of joy.”

Critics are going hard on Toke Makinwa's fast selling book, 'On Becoming'. Now they are stating that the popular vlogger lied about details in the book, especially the one relating to the photos she saw of Maje and another lady on Facebook.

One of Toke's claim among many others was that Maje had cheated on her and impregnated his ex while he was married to her. According to Toke version of the story, six months into dating Maje, she saw a picture of him with another woman on Facebook. By calculations, people are saying this might be false.

Zahra Buhari, the daughter of the president, is set to marry Ahmed Indimi, the son of wealthy oil billionaire, Mohammed Indimi this December.

In a recent chat with City People, Nollywood actress and mother of two, Iyabo Ojo revealed her wedding plans, stating that she will be walking down the aisle soon.

The 39-year-old, Lagos born star, who lost her marriage years ago, said she will be getting married to her boyfriend, tho she is still not sure if the best boyfriends make the best husband.

“I am getting married soon. You see my definition of marriage is undiluted happiness. Ever since I have been separated, there’s only one goal and that is happiness and that is what I look for. When you are married, you will have sound mind and then you can concentrate on achieving so much on your kids, your work and businesses. KSA prior to the induction had been on media rounds visiting various press houses to talk about his lengthy music career that span over decades.

Media personalities, music artiste, record label owners and industry stakeholders were present at the event to support King Sunny Ade who donated some of his prized possessions to Hard Rock Cafe.

Days ago Toke Makinwa bared her story on papers of how she lost her marriage, due to her husband, Maje Ayida infidelity issues with his babymama, Anita. The lady involved in the whole drama that resulted in a 102-page tell-it-all book, titled, 'On Becoming' has taken to twitter in reaction.

Anita Solomon in her tweet said that the strongest people are not the ones who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.

Toke Makinwa confessed in her book that she had always known that her Ex-Husband, Maje, had something going on with Anita even before they got married.

Ace stand up comic, Seyi Law who recently had the dedication of his child in the US, just survived an attack from Hoodlums at the notorious Apongbon junction.

The comedian in the company of his friend on their way home got attacked after their car broke down at Apongbon. The hoodlums attacked his friend and stabbed him multiple times in order to steal their phones and money. Tho their attackers escaped before the arrival of the police, Seyi Law still shared the story on social media with a thankful heart for still being alive.

He wrote;

God is indeed God of all.
Let me just thank God for seeing me through all the challenges of the past month. Friends have not been able to get through to me due to the tedious schedules and happenings.
Finally, today I thought I was going home and having tomorrow all to myself to rest and catch up with friends only to have my car breakdown at Apongbon and some hoodlums attacked stabbing my friend in multiple places just because they wanted phones and money.
What would have become of me today? I am so grateful to God Almighty. They escaped before Police arrived, but I asked myself if people had come to our rescue and descended on the hoodlums wouldn't people say SEYILAW was involved in jungle justice? Hmmmmm.

Popular video director, Clarence Peter who got nominated for best music video category alongside, Banky W, Unlimited LA, Sesan and Meji Alabi in the coming Headies Award, is not happy with the award organisers who have totally ignored other names that have produced better videos within the year in view.
In a post on gram, Clarence mentioned, a lengthy list of video directors that should have also made the list.
