Ace Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh who was previously married to Churchill Olakunle has hinted that she is with another man.

In her recent post she had declared that she is a powerful yet brilliant, soft but yet very strong and she makes her money herself.

Since after undergoing her plastic surgery, she has been flaunting this new body to the face of all, and she looks dazzling in the artificial frame.

Popular actress Yvonne Nelson says she does not regret giving birth to her daughter out of wedlock.

Yvonne welcomed her first child, Ryn Roberts - a girl - on Sunday, October 29th 2017, with her fiancée, Jamie Roberts.

In a recent interview with BBC, Yvonne said although she believes the best thing to do is have her child in marriage, she does not regret keeping her pregnancy and giving birth to her daughter.

"I believe it’s the right thing to do. To get married, have kids, raise a family is ideal but I believe society puts a lot of pressure on women, young women in Africa especially.”

On how she felt when people criticised her after welcoming her daughter, Yvonne said

''I am a very positive person. I don't let all the negativity and all the bad talks get to me. I was staying positive. I had loved ones around me plus I had this beautiful blessing in my arms. It was all joy for me. I wasn't listening to all the negativity outside at all. It didn't really affect me at all''

According to her, what matters most is that “at the end of the day if my mum, my family is happy with me, I am happy with myself, that’s it''.

Movie star Rita Dominic has thrown a log of contemplation amongst filmmakers in the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood over a recent controversial statement

With the current trend of Hollywood first ever black fiction movie, Black Panther which have been making histories as the most aired movie in cinema and also banking the largest figures when it comes to turn over made from the movie. It has also gotten a lot of support from Nigerians and film makers have been begging for same level of support.

Well Rita Dominic is on the neutral side of it, she has voiced out her opinion concerning movies being aired in cinemas.

Rita has issued that not every movie should be allowed into the cinema, instead the film makers should be able to allow quality match the hype of the movie.

“Let the quality of work match the hype! Nollywood #noteverymovie shouldbeincinemas,”she wrote.

This has led to various criticism from other filmmakers, but the actress says she is ready to stand by her words.

A South African based Nigerian has made shocking allegations about Big Brother Housemates, according to one @PRODEEGY on Twitter, BBNaija housemates engage in sexual intercourse everyday with each other.

In a series of tweets on his page, he claims that the housemates have already exhausted 50 packs of condom within the period of time they’ve been in the house.

Popular Nigerian singer Yung6ix is not in the best of moods. He is currently in a hospital as a result of an unidentified ailment.

He took to his Twitter page to share a photo of himself on his hospital bed intimating his followers of his condition and while some prayed for him to get well soon, others wondered why he would share such an image on social media.

Two of Hollywood’s most illustrious institutions are partnering to present a weekend of screenings of some of the best Nollywood films in an event billed as the inaugural NOLLYWOOD IN HOLLYWOOD.

The events, scheduled for March 23 and 24 will be co-presented by the world’s leading film programme, the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and Hollywood’s most prestigious screening venue, the Egyptian Theatre.

Many of the events will also be live cast to audiences in Nigeria and around the world.

In his remarks, John Hagelston of the American Cinematheque, operators of the Egyptian Theatre, said: “Africa’s most populous country is home to one of the world’s most prosperous film industries, but Nigerian cinema still has a relatively low profile in the U.S. The American Cinematheque’s mission to present the full range of motion pictures to the widest possible audience already includes annual programs devoted to new films from Spain, Germany, Italy, Argentina and other countries, so the chance to bring “Nollywood” to Hollywood for a night made perfect sense.”

Also, director of another selection, THE BRIDGE, Kunle Afoloyan, noted that “I believe the Nollywood in Hollywood event is a course in the right direction. I’m glad that The Bridge will be screening as part of the programs and I also look forward to mutual exploration between the two worlds.”

Veteran actor Yemi Adeyemi, who is popularly called Suara, a name that stuck since his role in Super Story series, Oh Father! Oh Daughter! where he is a polygamist married to Buky Wright, and Sola Shobowale as his second wife, said his marriage was once on the brink of collapse on account of his intimate relationship with the latter.

Suara disclosed this to New Telegraph saying his wife in real life, who he lives with in Ibadan at a time believed he was having seedy underground dealings with the actress and was filled with indignation.

He said his spouse held on to the impression until the day the Ondo-born actress who acted Toyin Tomato, his wife in Oh Father! Oh Daughter! visited him at home.

Suara told the paper, “My wife was very angry with me. She thought I actually had an affair with Sola Sobowale (Toyin Tomato). It was not until they got to know each that she was convinced that I was not going out with her. When Sola came, she was calling me ‘Brother mi’, which is what she used to call me.

“Actually, I came to Lagos through her advice. I did not even know that we were going to act together in Super Story. My wife was so eager to meet her.
“So when Sola came to my house they met. Annoyingly, my wife was sitting watching what was going to happen that day.

But when she saw the way Sola was talking, calling me ‘Brother mi’, and she related with her, later  my wife was convinced that there was nothing between us beyond acting our roles in Super Story. She begged me later that she was sorry. I reminded her that that was not the first time she had seen me acting with a woman.”

Popular actor, Jim Iyke recently sat down for an interview in Broadway TV, where he revealed why he didn’t get married to screen goddess, Rita Dominic.

The two if them have over the years been romantically linked together on several occasions… and the reason is not far-fetched, because the duo often played the roles of lovers in movies, back in the early 2000s.

In the interview, Jim opened up on his relationship with Rita. When asked why he didn’t get married to the actress, he said:


“Rita and I met when I was just beginning to embrace fame, and the comforts that came with it. The laurels, the distraction, even the destruction. And Rita is not the kind of woman that hangs around a lot. We were very deep with each other. We still are great-friends though we don’t speak constantly. As a matter of fact, it may surprise you that we haven’t spoken to each other in over two years. But when we meet, we are cordial, and respectful. There is that deep rooted thing of a man or woman you shared something with”.
