uniqueprivacy: Hello my e-family members it's good to be back once again after about a month and a half of my absence on this forum. This wasn't intentional, it's a very long story. I am just going to summarize it. After sharing my success story on this forum and while preparing for my journey, you know trying to source for fund, I had a bullet attack which was meant to terminate my life, in order to pollute my testimony but against the wish of the enermies my God didn't let it happen that way. He saved me and kept me alive to fulfill my American dream. it is my pleasure to let you know that this testimony is coming to you live from Philadelphia PA. I left naija on the 16th April with British Airways connected through London(Heathrow Airport) and arrived Philadelphia on the 17th of April, to God be the glory.

let me use this opportunity to congratulate those who had their successful interviews, 2NL and trip to their various destinations.
Also to pray for those waiting for their 2NL, interviews, trips and 1NL by May 1st. I wish you all success and God's favour, IJN amen.

finally I will advise everyone to be prayerful and commit his or her self to God almighty because the enermy is not happy to see good things coming our way. remember what the Bible in the book of John 10:10 says: "the enermy commet not but to steal, kill and to destroy..."

Sorry this is coming late its been a rough and high tensioned experience actually but thank God its all worth it.. Had my interview ystday and thank God for he has showered his goodness upon me.

Got to the embassy, passed thru diferent security checks, was 1st to get into the interview hall, which i have been avoiding coz i don't wanna be the 1st to be interviewed..but it wasn't in that order i was the fift person to be interviewed, even tho i had the 1st number for immigrant category.paid the visa fee, waited for some mins and was caled for submission of document. Waited for close to an hour b4 the CO's came to their respective windows. The eldest CO called me 2 window 13, the interview was less than 5mins ......

I was scared b4 the interview but the guy beside me was giving me confidence and i was laffin @ my self, like what's up with me....but its so unfortunate the guy was being denied coz the CO believed his waec certificate isn't original, he checked the internet and saw the result but he still wasn't convinced. He pain me 4 d guy...
That's it folks smiled out of the embassy, filled with joy. It has been what my prayers has been based on for close to a year now, i got out of the interview hall, tipped the securities and bowed to Allah for his goodness and mercies upon me. Alhamdulilai YES LORD, MarylanD here i come

Landed sunday night at the George Bush Airport aboard Qatar airways after 8 hrs stop over in doha, went through the immigration, stopped for a check on my baggade and have my dried meat ( tinko ) , ginger and knoor chicken trashed by the airport screening officials, i was advice before leaving Naija to take red cab home since my host will nto be available to pick me at the airport but i saved $46 by taking a shuttle bus for $34 ( after an intenet search for cheaper shuttle at Doha ) instead of red cab for $80 to my destination ( naija brain ? ).

I am home trying to learn the ropes, gone out sevarally using the metro bus card with effective use of the navigation on my ipad. Its a nice environment here in houston and i am hoping to enjoy every bit of it.

In the meantime, i opened an account with Bank of America already and started spending from the account.......waiting arround for my GC and SSN. I have got some job offers awaiting my documentation.

I really appreciate u all. I went to pick up my Visa today and those of my wife and kids. I m one of d happiest men on earth today. I even met a man who shud be in his late 50s who came to pick student visa for his kid. In d course of our interaction he told me dt he has been playing DV lottery for d past 18yrs and he never won. Infact he has spent millions of Naira in sending his daughter to USA to further her study and I told him ds is ma first time of playing,he was amazed.I was also emotionally touched. I want to first of all thank God for my situation because it has taught me how to be tolerant and patient. I had my interview on 4th February and was issued a green sheet to return on 8th February for my VISA, on arrival I was told my VISA was not ready, the took the sheet and handed me a white sheet putting me on Administrative Processing. On my first filling for DV 2013 I mistakenly typed 1990 instead of 1987 as date of birth so I knew they wanted to verify that I wasn't a criminal cos I wrote the correct date on the DSP form and swore an affidavit. I was soo sad and frustrated. I didn't give up, I still psyched myself, prayed and fasted. On last thursday 28th March I read abt some forumites who were also on AP and had been called. I tapped into their success and at 12:00 pm I was called by the American embassy in Ghana asking me to come to the embassy on Monday at 1pm with my letter and the passport. I went there today and we went tru the normal security checks. I was called up to one of the CO and I was asked to present my passport and that all my documents were ok. She re-issued me with a new green sheet asking me to return on friday for my VISA. I thank God for all he has done for me and I also thank all members that continue to help pple out there like me. God bless you all...to all those on AP, you will be called and you shall all be issued VISA's IJN. Sori 4 my long story tho I hope someone wud learn from my story.....

The lady I talked about actually called them and spoke to them rudely. In fact arrogance is written all over d lady. I don't think u have any problem just be prayerful

By the grace of God u ll be given ur visa too, but pls don't try to call or send an email to them on ur case before the given period. I saw a lady that was outrightly denied because she called them making enquiry on her AP.Those pple blf so much in compliance

After waiting for 41days, I got a phone from the US embassy that they re tru with the administrative processing on my case that I shud come with my passport and those of my family. I felt I was dreaming. I was there to drop our e-passport and the lady that attended to me did not ask me any question. She just took those Epassport and input some data from it into her system. I was given the Visa pick up form and the instruction on how to pay d 165$ GC fee. House thanku for your support and encouragement. mohd were u not given any letter stating d number of days under wh d AP ll be conducted. Bros it normally takes 60days. Thus go and put on ur garment of patience. Best of luck

As I got to the Ghana embassy today to pick up my VISA I was called together with 3 other people and I asked to wait cos the CO wanted to meet us. The CO called me and I gave me a form to fill asking for additional information. She then told me my VISA was not ready and that I have been put on Administrative Processing. She said they will call me after they are done with that. She didn't tell me any reason why I was put on AP all she said was they would call me. She collected the green sheet and gave me a white paper to go and wait to be called. Pls house can anyone help me with regards to what is happening?? I am soo shattered right now. The only issue I had was the wrong DOB in my initial entry which they never asked during the interview plus I have a sworn affidavit for that. House pls help me...

The lord is our strength. Be faithful and prayerful. I m under AP too n this is d forth week. It is not easy but just take it easy pal. There ll be light at end of d tunnel.
