I don't know if that's Gordon's but wow! I'm surprised you are asking this.

His first song is "today today my level don change..."

Check YouTube you might find it.

It's a good list.

I must confess i wouldn't have recognized most of these people if i hadn't lived in the south west for such a long time.

Most of the artistes here are just Yoruba artistes and people that operate within Lagos and i understand.

Let me help you with some great ones from the south eastern part of Nigeria:

Caveat: I don't have much info about most of these guys current status.

Here goes:
1. Felix Ndukwe (my all time favorite)
2. Evangelist Mba Abarogu
3. Brother Israel Anyanele (Agape love band)
4. Brother Chidi Johnson (he sang "Nnam Abraham" )
5. Brother Elias Chikwe (he sounded very much like Obi Igwe)
6. Sister Rosemary Chukwu
7. Sister Patience Ogbonna
8. Famous Nkwa group ( kpọọ ya Chukwu n'ogaza)
9. Brother Cornelius Benjamin.
10.Sister oluchukwu okeke (neé okpalakunne)
11.Bro Paul nwokocha.
12.Chika okpala
13.Helen nkume
14 Obi Obidigbo
15. Luke ezeji
16. Ifeanyi ibeabuchi
17.Patty obasi -- dead
18.Obi Igwe -- dead
19.Okwara ezema -- dead (so sad)

Omo.. i love remembering these guys cos it's cathartic for me.

But let me stop here Sha.

This thing called money.

I imagine how much this man had to cough out to pay these white men just to climb inside the boat and eat.

Eat!

Among all his houses scattered everywhere including Venice, which one of them can he not eat this meal inside?

God i need this money.

But i promise i will only use it for the good of all..

Scholarships. Free and subsidized health care. Social amenities for my people.

RomanceRe: Dating Or Outright Marriage? by jclassiq(m): 5:57pm On Nov 05, 2022
Fuckyoumod:
Before our time, we had women of pride. They were reserved with dignity and some sense of responsibility for their husbands only.
Nobody count.

They were well groomed, virgins, respectful, caring, less dramatic, loyal to the core and hard working. They were Mentally, sexually, emotionally, psychologically and morally intact. At most 21 years they are married.

Back in the days you don't need to date them before marrying them. Because they were pure and undiluted it was the responsibility of any fortunate or lucky man that marries them to dilute them. So when they are married they are married.

But today, what we have are boreholes, loose girls, runs girls, sex tools, slay queens, drama queens, sex for money, very irresponsible set of things. No dignity, no value, heavily dependent on you, no respect, disloyal and poorly groomed.. what we have now are morally, psychologically, emotionally and sexually battered women littering everywhere... body count na no go area.

They don't need to be rewarded with marriage. But if you must reward them with marriage, you must date them for a very long time to be able to know them inside and outside. Else you go cry later!

No wonder at 25yr - 30yr they are still I'm their parents houses causing problems.

Don't let anybody deceive you to marry a stranger. Na you go regret, no be your pastor or your adviser.

Never make the mistake.
Lol. I share your frustrations bro, but don't forget that life in general has changed, not just the women but men also.

While we like to point fingers and accuse the other gender, we mustn't shy away from mending our own ways too so that when we express our righteous indignation, we can do so with no guilty conscience.

I wrote this thing somewhere before:

As the men folk began to solicit more and more sex from the women folk; enticing them with all sort of "bribes" and gifts,

The women folk also fell for it, saw that it was good, and started to monetize their love and their bodies.

That's how we found ourselves here today.

There are still decent and undefiled women out there.

They exist but they are extremely few.

If you find one, you are a very lucky man indeed.
FamilyRe: Why Do Africans Prefer Suffering Or Putting Themselves In Difficult Situations? by jclassiq(m): 11:46am On Nov 05, 2022
Societal conditioning.

And perhaps, illiteracy, especially those in the rural areas.

The women in the rural areas are champions. I have mad respect for them.

After the excessive breeding like rats, some fathers will just lock up and abandon the women with the children.

Rural women are the true Amazons.

Some bear 7 kids. Some 8. Some 9 & 10. It's crazy.

And if you asked them, "why are you breeding so many children?"

They'll say, "Ah... Don't you know that children are blessing from God? I don't know which one God will use and rescue me from my suffering".

Defective thinking.

Blazinraj01:
It is part of what is needed to enjoy life, money is a means to an end. Having more of it or having less of it at a particular point in time doesn't make you more or less successful.

But that's what and how our society measures success.

Personally in terms of money, I look at it from being comfortable than having plenty money but comfort is relative for everyone

Success to me is the impact you make at every point in your life and where you end up at the end of it all as well as the impact you make at every point in other people's lives.

Basically, if we look at the milestones that we have reached in our lives, that to me is success.

A salary earner with zero balance in their account is not less successful. It is a case of non availability at that point in time.

Although, my religion has another definition for success.
I think it's societal conditioning.

According to the society we live in now, money is everything.

Nothing else matters.

Like that Ludacris' song: 'If you ain't got no money take ya broke a$$ home!'

If she wants to feel young again its okay, but i was thinking there is a disconnect, although she may be emotionally bounded to her son, she does not understand him, and it frustrates her, also could be he lost purpose, no clarity. It seems it has been festering and there was a lot of fustration.
Taking her life was the height of it.

What could be the problem?

I see a 64 year old woman who's not in tune with her age. She desperately wants to feel younger.

Perhaps he disagrees with her lifestyle but is that enough reason to take away her life?

Promises, promises and more promises.

Most Nigerians are really blind i swear.

Has anyone noticed that aside politics, nothing else really works in Nigeria?

Politics is the only thriving business here.

Because the politicians are effectively in charge of the commonwealth, they are only really interested in how to use it for their own benefit.

And to make sure they keep benefiting therefrom, they starve every other sector of the resource they need to be efficient.

This country nawa.
