twosquare: Adam nature was corrupted that was why men were subjected to corruption....he received sin&the nature....by the time satan will be through with some men,you will see it crystal clear that which he planted has taken over...that's when men shall be one with satan finally.
As i said men doesn't have to die physically,the body is also alive but dead coz of sin...when righteousness shall take men over,immortality will swallow up mortality. If anyone wants to die,that's his choice....if they ask you where your tomb(grave) is, tell them you've got one in Jerusalem. The fullness of Righteousness won't make you to die.it will overide it....(physically). Ask Enoch,ask Melchizedek or Elijah,even our Lord Jesus,John the Beloved. Death has been conquered, folks don't know this due to ignorance...we've heard of men after the apostles who attained this state.

I don't like arguing. So can you tell us how to attain this righteous state of never dying again?

By the help of sin,death came...do not misunderstood me...you can live righteously but you need empowerment coz an inferior seed was planted in Man by satan. Then you should ask why men still die physically if not that sin is present in the body....men do not have to die again. sin needed to be swallowed up both in the soul&body by Life because there is a law in us that will war against the new law...sin is a virus infused into us by satan..so when another law cometh,it'll war against it not to find expression. Read carefully, sin reigned cos of one man disobedience and all became sinners, and life came through Jesus which is what He came to reverse. Obviously u don't understand Atonement or what Jesus came to do.

twosquare: That's not true. ADAM was our father until Christ came. I don't think you know why he is referred to as 2nd Adam.....we inherited something from Adam,that's sin....no one escaped that.It took another Adam at the end of age,someone who had the pedigree of glory Adam had in the beginning to turn it around and by obedience to the Father gave eternal life.
Jesus said that to bring us to the true Father....we have fathers but One Father which He want men to know....many kings but One King.
ADAM has the nature of a son of man....not the nature of God....he was made 'after God's likeness'....he need to come into the fulness. If not Christ would not have come. The nature of God is incorruptible....that nature doesn't respond to neither sin nor death....it is called IMMORTALITY. But Adam nature can still respond to corruption&he fell,that's why men died.

When you say Adam was our father before Jesus came, your now saying Jesus is our father. No Jesus is not our Father, but Jesus Father who is Adam Father is our father. When Paul referred to Jesus as the second Adam, he was making a comparison.

The first Adam cut the connection between God and man. If you study your Bible well you will see that men began to call on God again after Adam gave birth to Seth. That mean till set came Adam had nothing to do with God again. Jesus said I am the way to the father. Jesus reconnected man back to God.

We inherited only the image and likeness of God from Adam. Sin is an act it cannot be inherited.

You say Adam is son of man? if you read your Bible very well you will see that Adam was mainly referred as son of God, while Jesus referred himself as the son of man.

Now man is immortal, man cannot die. What you see people bury is not the man but his flesh. The real man is gone.

Adam is not our father. Jesus said call no one on earth your father. God is our father. Adam has no nature, the nature he has is that of his father God. That is what he passed to us. Adam choose to serve Satan and that choice did not include his children.

All have sin, yes because we all were born into a sinful world. We learn from Adam to sin. But it is not in our nature, we just learnt it.

Any one who has a sinful nature cannot repent.

passed upon all men is the mystery. It is like a baton given to others to continue. It is passed to all men through teaching or learning. Sin is learned. That is why no kid goes to hell until after the accountability age.

I do believe Romans 5:12. I want you to read it again. It says "wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sin sinned.

It did not say, sin entered into man or Adam but into the world.

The Spirit of God is needed in the interpretation of God's word. The sin of the father is only visited on the children if the children take to the steps of the father.

What is God’s prescription for finding heaven and avoiding hell? Jesus said : Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. John 3:3. My dear friend, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN! There is no other option. You must receive Christ as your personal Saviour. Being Born Again is not a new idea, being propagated by some young churches. It is a fundamental, biblical instruction given by Christ to everyone! I know of course, that many people are sincere — but mistaken. And I am sad to say that sincerity alone will not save anybody. I also believe that every single Christian (especially pastors) will also give account to God, for witholding vital information about the reality of hell from others. If souls are perishing because of ignorance, then those with knowledge will definitely be held accountable.

double08: Was listening to the pastor yesterday in church and while he was preaching he said "the Lord spoke to me" it got me thinking how do God speak to a pastor and who do you know God's voice?

By being a child of God.

If we review these two scripture , it appears that in the OT people were free to call down fire from heaven whereas in the NT this was specifically prohibited.

We all know that God does not change, Today, Yesterday or forever and hence I have a few questions :

- Was it God that made the fire to come down from heaven at Elijah's beckoning
- Why did Jesus reveal a different person of God who actually does not want to send down fire from heaven to destroy people
- Jesus made the statement "...the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them!" , does this not mean that a lot of violence we attribute to God may not have been his will or even ordered by him.
-Why do many churches today call down fire from heaven in contrast to the command of Jesus.

This two people you mentioned came with different messages from the same God, under different law.

The fire came under the law of moses: tooth for tat while Jesus was under the law of Christ: forgiveness.

Although it never worked, I kept trying anyway, hoping that maybe the 50th scream of JESUS would be the magic recipe. After that, all subsequent experiences quickly turned into lucid dreams, where I was able to overcome the shadowy adversary using the wealth of information at my disposal. It is possible to command any entity in dreams, or at least get away faster than they can move. But you must be aware that it is a dream, otherwise it's yo as/s as they say. But that was all many years ago. It hasn't yet bothered me since I abandoned that useless Mexican dude Jesus. All that time, I was shouting a name that is currently owned by about 5 million Mexican males. That doesn't even take into account the number of males with the name Jesus in the rest of Latin and south America.
