Someone said "Na my dey hammer for crypto" and GMT is a classical example among others. This run is just the beginning judging by their road map from now to April. There's even a rumour of partnership with NIKE.

The momentum is with GMT and one is leaving a lot of money on the table not playing it. Spot-wise there's always 15% to 20% daily play available and futures-wise you can short and long several times a day depending on your schedule. The movement is so predictable.

Last night, it occurred to me I can increase my stash via coin futures and so far so good. But with a very good knowledge of TA, which I don't have, it would have been more glorious, but grateful still.

Let the initial hype die first.... I'd look into it.

Futures... hehe. IMO, crypt0 is volatile enough to make money without trading futures... too risky
What I do sometimes is take a measured risk and borrow against my assets if I see a trade I feel is sensible... for example, I increased my avax and luna position by between 10-20% by borrowing against avax and luna I already own... this way, the risk is much less

Last year after the bloodbath that lasted few months , i was able to buy sol at $24 , dot at $11 and link . I sold off before the main bull run could even get started . I watched this coins double up in price and even went up beyond anyone's expectations.
I learnt my lesson to be more patient and i will advise anyone that bought during this long bear period to hold ur coins tight , we are just getting started . My pieces of advise

With bitc0in abouve its weekly support, its in such conditions alt coins go into price discovery. I've caught luna and I'd just let it run

After this GMT pump, I will be putting resources in Binance MVBIV Web3.0/Metaverse winners in line with the direction I sense below. Bïnance knows how to trade the current narrative on their ecosystem well. They are like China, they will take anything that pop on ETH (eg AXs) and SOL (GMT) and pump their own Aba-made version

Regarding meta coins, I'd like to go with their L1s, waiting for a monthly close to make a choice....

Regarding L1s, I believe after the upcoming eths merge, most of them whose only narrative is cheaper fees will fizzle out.
L1s are already picking up too just like during the second rally last year.
Luna was the first to retest ATH. It seemed to stall below 100 as it waited for bitc0in to break the weekly resistance before popping out. I partly expected this and upped my luna bags a bit.... I'm guessing Avax will be the next.

Other L1s I'm considering are Rune, Hnt, chz... just because they do something different than the rest. Any insight on rune or other L1s with a different utility?

If bitc0in continues to hold above its weekly support, then yes most alyts will see new highs.

But even in a rally, some coins perform better than others. Reason why some months back I partly reallocated some of my crv holdings into a less inflationary L1. Crv has held well against other defi tokens because it employed an agressive lockup incentive which resulted in less sell pressure and the protocol has also performed well. But as you can see, that is now tailing off...

In longterm trading of any asset, understanding supply, demand and hence inflation is key.

In trading, we learn...

One thing I've learned over the last 2 years is that defi coins would hardly be the best market perfomers for the longterm...

Reason is simple.... utility and inflation. These coyns mainly have little or no financial utility aside speculation and their circulating amountis constantlybeinginflated...

On the defi protocols, fees are all paid in their base L1... like I say,If I'm bullish on a protocol, I'd always hold the L1token in addition....

Luna was the first major to reach ATH on this rally, I will not be surprised its the first to get into price discovery. It's fundamentals are strong.... the 70 levrl I mentioned will be a 'gift'

Was skeptical about the announcement that the annual yeild for ust on anchor will be revised downward. This hasn't affected expansion so far...
Also, the yield reserve has been topping up their bitc0in balance in the hundreds of millions...

If these continue, it should translate to higher price valuations for Luna. Also to remember that Luna is the first major to hit it's previous ATH on this bitc0ins bounce..

Will reevaluate Luna on the weekly and monthly close. A pullback into the 60-70 region should provide a good buy spot. So far, the weekly chart shows significant wicks into the previous ATH which shows folks are taking profits
