But if you’d take my advice, I’d advice you to wait for the ASUS ROG ALLY, a gaming handheld made my our friends at, you guessed it, ASUS , this company claims the processor that they partnered with AMD to make, the Z1 extreme chip is twice faster than what’s currently on the steam deck, that’s a bold claim but we’ll have to do tests to see if this claim holds up true when the ROG Ally releases.
Other details known so far that makes it more desirable than the Steam Deck is that the ROG Ally has a 1080p 120hz refresh rate, where’s the Steam deck has a 900p resolution.
Oh Ya another difference between the steam deck and the ROG ally is that is that the steam deck run on…you guessed it Steam (let’s take note that you can also sideload windows on it), on the other hand, the ROG Ally runs on Windows 11 right off the bat! This makes the ROG ally a viable option for me as per say na “Abinibi” (this is a Yoruba, in English, it means the quality you’re born with), and we all know that “Abinibi yato si Ability”!
With the few points of mine, you can see why you should wait a lil bit if you wanna buy a very powerful gaming handheld, just wait small, the ASUS ROG Ally is the one for you. However the only deterrent is that e costs more than a PS5, thr pricing is rumoured to be set at $699, e no that’s $200 more than Sony’s latest console, the the base model of the steam deck on the other hand costs just $399, good deal if you ask me sha.
