flexyrule:I go like am, no worry. |
tuzle:Don't worry, Oppenheimer na my kind of film. |
drmuchin:That's exactly what I'm expecting. |
For some reason, lizard is the animal that irritate me the most, dead or alive. I'd rather eat other taboo animals before I consider lizard. |
I always want to watch the movies for which the best Directors get their nominations. |
I have to watch Oppenheimer then. |
Meerahbel:All this while? Slow and predictable as expected. |
femi4:Oh, because KPMG and Deloitte don't ask for payslip that means every other company must be doing the same. Is it illegal to ask in both the UK and Netherlands, certainly not. Company asks according to their own discretion. A lot more companies verbally ask your current renumeration during the course of your interviews with them, what you say, and the consequences of your reply about that is on you. It may not be as common again in other countries to ask about previous salary payslips, but still a possibility you get asked depending on the company till tomorrow. In Nigeria, it's even a miracle if the big corporates don't ask. Nigeria is part of the world. It's standard practice until the law makes it illegal. |
Meerahbel:I'm not an HR. And I don't want any company asking for my payslip. However, them asking or choosing not to ask is neither obsolete or modern. It's just what it is: corporate norms. All over the world, it's standard practice. Especially in a world where two employees on the same level or team are likely to be compensated different according to their negotiating power. The candidate is always at liberty to refuse and tell the company to fuckoff though. I know most companies ask for payslip because of salary negotiations. However, it's just due diligence for others to ensure the candidate worked for a particular company and for the duration they claimed. It may look like the company holds all the advantage if they know what you're earning previously, but it's not always the case. |
Omo. The guy make me feel like a spend rift. |
iLoveYouToo:Interesting, how come you only refill twice per year? |
motionarena:You can't know everything in football. |
GanagiBitrus:I remembered the 1-0 loss against Ivory Coast in 2006, I was in primary school then and our teacher brought his TV to school so that every could watch together. Didier Drogba score the winner. Imagine the bittersweet feeling for me and the teacher as we were both Chelsea fan. |
simmydebadest:Even though I'm a Chelsea fan, the performance of Bayern still gives me PTSD. That's the most one-sided UCL final I've ever seen. |
They should always be a difference between the sane and the insane, the humans from the animals. Castration blurs that line. |
adonainana:Hello, yes. I've done stuff with node.js. I'm happy to discuss in detail if you please. |
guysbewise:If you're reading this and wondering whether what Mr is saying above is valid, just know he's wrong and his experiences is not what's generally happening in the tech industry. Even if he's the CTO of Google and Facebook combined, don't take his word for it. In fact, Google, Microsoft, and Apple don't require a CS degree. In fact, if you can prove exceptional in what you do, they won't care if you didn't go to primary school. All the knowledge you can get in a CS degree is available on the internet for free. You can learn whatever you wish from the internet. Top universities and schools release their CS curriculum and resources for people who wish to learn the fundamentals. The only difference is that you don't get to listen to a 70 years old lecturer read their experience and life history to you in a class setting despite never having work in tech all their life. If there's one field where paper qualifications holds no inherent value, it's tech and the software industry. To the author I'm quoting, I'd really like to know the knowledge you applied from your CS degree that helped you solved a problem at work. Be specific, be elaborate, and then explained why you concluded only people with a CS degree would come up with your solution. |
Oyindamolah:Hi, I'm Interested in the backend role. Any heads ups? |
nedekid:I bet the POS operator I use make more than 15K-20K per day then. You'd hardly ever go to his stand without meeting 2-3 people already trying to withdraw. From 7pm to 9pm, the queue is like 8-9 people long. It's crazy. |
theadeola:I'm sure your mentality is different then. But how did you come to think differently to the average poor man? |
I've seen this story several times and I had no internet whatsoever. However, hearing NNPCL spending on private individuals without accountability is worrisome. The thing is Nigeria is just vibes and no strategy. Otherwise, what's a government institution like NNPCL concern with this. As for the story itself, I'm genuinely surprised the hyped reaction to this. Trivial stuff gets a lot of us whirled up in this country. |
Absolute nonsense generalisation coming from an idiot. |
More like 2024 motivationals |
genius43:Yeah, that'd be the best move but I'm Nitin Lagos. I initially passed the device to some technicians but they said they can't flash the phone. |
For every cooking recipe and method, there's always a champion. Variety is the spice of life. During my service I shared apartment with a guy from Benue, he cooks stew with ONLY tomatoes paste. He actually doesn't know how to use fresh tomatoes. He was a generally good cook and the stew always turned out very very good. Better than all the others in the lodge who preferred fresh tomatoes. |
juliet131:I've successfully unlocked the bootloader. I now get an error message about: your device is corrupt; press power button to continue; Or phone will restart in countdown 5s; Efuse blown: success. Pressing the power button does nothing. The phone restarts again. That's the new loop I'm in now. |
genius43:Okay, thanks for the help. |
juliet131:It won't go into recovery. It will only stay stable on fastboot. |
genius43:Yes, the battery was healthy and about 80 percent when it got into the loop. I've been trying to clear the cache or format the device in fastboot mode. But to do anything advance, I have to pretty much unlock the bootloader. But Xiaomi has tied the unlocking sequence as a feature that can only be enabled as a Developer options through settings when the device is booting normally into the OS. I'm pretty much stuck at every corner. |
genius43:Hi Genius and @y'all. My Redmi 9 is stock on a boot loop whereby it will turn on, display the Redmi logo and turn off. Holding the power and volume down button successful boots into fastboot and won't turn off this time until I manually power it down. Holding the volume up and down keys together with the power keys boot to the recovery screen where I can select recovery, fastboot and normal boot. But selecting any option apart from the fastboot results in the device turning off and won't come back on. Any advice and anything else I can do? |
The first time they came with their elitist Super League and received a huge backlash, you could forgive them and say they'll learn from it. Now, however, the greed in these Spanish Mafia clubs such as Real and Barca is nauseating. The new format they came up with is even worse and out of touch with reality. How can you suggest it will take a minimum of 3 years for the team which hypothetically wins their league just to get into the top tier in Super League? Meaning they'll have to work their way up from the lower league like the teams in league 1 and championship has to do in England. Hahaha Real and Barca can go ahead with their new competition. But nobody will watch it. They have had their golden years during the era of Messi and Ronaldo. They'll never get to that much hype again. They milked their leagues dry by collecting 50% of the revenues while the rest struggled with half. Now, they fear they can't compete with the biggest premier league teams financially who initially supported the whole league rather than demand greater share of revenue at the detriment of the rest. They'll be humbled those greedy lots. |
FRANCISTOWN:The dynamics between a boss and an employee is completely different from that which (should) exist in a personal relationship between a husband and wife in a home. if you want to excuse a man's unreasonable behaviour because it's akin to a boss in a professional setting, I guess you wouldn't expect the wife to still love, respect and trust an unreasonable fella. Because I've never heard of an employee who liked and wished well an insultive boss or superior. |
