There’s no timeline to apply for reconsideration. Let the person gather the right documents and proof, then send the reconsideration letter.
don4real:
Yes she can appeal within 10days after the refusal. Before she reapply again, she should order her GCMS or CBSA note to know the specific reasons for her refusal because the reason given to her by IRCC is generic

Yes, they act as part of your hometies.
Let your SOP reflect the day you got engaged, how you cannot wait to come back and get married to her/him. Add pictures of both of you together as supporting docs.
Also add a means of identification for her/him (NIN/Voter’s ID/Driver’s license/Passport bio data page)
Hope this answers your question!

Thomsyne:
Pls do unmarried partners count as home ties?

It is people like you that will rely on someone’s exact SOP to pass off as theirs, you think Canadian VO(s) are dull-witted right?

The SOP is the most important aspect of an application, that’s why it is pertinent that you Do IT Yourself!!!!

NO ONE CAN TELL YOUR STORY LIKE YOU WOULD, KNOW THIS AND EXCEL!!!

Next time if you have something to say, quote me so that I’ll give a more befitting response.

NB: This is just for other applicants that will be tricked by your write up! There are enough pointers on this thread to guide you in writing your SOP, a lot of people have posted tips that are very helpful. Use that and structure your SOP, use your own words to say it as it is.
A lot of people can help you to review it, you can also use apps like Grammarly and Prowriting Aid to check for grammatical errors and sentence construction.

PS: SOP business is the one thing I can never be involved in. It’s really dumb for you to assume that, all because you need SOP to copy!

bruno10000:
This is the main ish... the primary applicant sop. Please don't mind the lady. No one here is retarded enough to copy someone elses SOP word for word. I believe we all need this drafts to understand better how to write in a convincing essay in our own words. The lady up there is probably in the business of SOP writing
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255:
Hi Olokings. It’s great to see that you are putting out pointers to help new applicants, but while doing so, also remember that plagiarism is real.

That’s the reason why SOP are barely posted here, because some applicants will copy it word for word and trust me when it’s flagged, it’s never good news.

You can help proof read SOP and make corrections if you can spare the time, but posting a draft of what you used, will make most applicants want to use the same thing because they’ll see it as a winning SOP.

One person using it might scale through but when a couple of people do so, the system is bound to flag it and you know it spikes trouble for their application.

Just something for you to consider.

olokings:
Hope i wont cause problems with this....
however here goes...

As a follow up with putting it out there and a few case studies...

This is a draft case submission for a family of 6 travelling with a successful decision from IRCC in august. application was processed in exactly 16 weeks.

find attached files for your utility.

Dear self-proclaimed PPR Officials!

No one owes you a screenshot of their application page, know this and know peace!!!

This forum since its inception has always pushed for the posting of timeline and documents submitted, so be focused on that alone! To the best of my knowledge, that’s what has helped a number of applicants and not real or fake ppr!!!

There’s nothing like an application is too good to be true! Incase you haven’t heard, there’s something called GOD’S GRACE! No two applications will ever be the same!!!!

The genuineness of someone’s application shouldn’t be your source of concern. If you need hope, GOD is and still remains your only source of hope and not someone’s real or fake ppr!!!

Be guided!!! A lot of you are now derailing this thread and you are making it impossible for new applicants to get the information they need in order to package their application well.

You mustn’t respond to every ppr post, take what you want from it and move along!!!

Hello NLs,

Happy Sunday! Just a word of advice, if you’re using a representative always double check that they submit all your documents. I just received my GCMS notes. I’m just getting it now after I’ve received PPR. This was one of the notes made. It seems my agent didn’t put in my passport lol. Thank God all the same, it ended in praise!

Vikky05:

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255: 8:16pm On Sep 20, 2022
No you can’t. It’s either you make use of USD wire transfer option via form A or you make use of a credit/debit card (USD, CAD, AUD, GBP) only.
Naira card won’t work.

In my case, I sent a mail to the school explaining the situation. You can do the same as well.
Here’s a sample incase you need it, Goodluck!

Dear Sir/Ma,
I am writing to humbly request for an extension for my tuition deposit deadline payment which is XXXXXXXXX
Student Name: XXXXXXX
Student Number: XXXXXX
I have initiated the transaction with my bank but due to the delay of FX allocation by the Central Bank of Nigeria, my transaction is still on the queue for processing.
However my bank has informed me that the estimated date of completion for my transaction is XXY - XXY (I added extra 3-4 weeks to my deadline date).
Attached proof of payment being processed by the bank. (Attach your online form A slip, you can get this from the trade portal)
Kindly grant me an extension to enable the bank complete my payment, I am committed to attending this master’s program and I hope I am being granted this opportunity.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I await a positive response.

Regards,
XXXXXXX

Iremide2019:
Good evening everyone, I paid 1500cad to secure my sit in conestoga, but I was given till October 11th to pay the balance of 8500cad. I'm paying with form A which i already initiated on the 13th of this month, my bank says form A now takes 5 to 6 weeks, which means I have less than 4 weeks with the dealine my school gave me.
Now my questions;
1.If the bank did not debit me before the dealine, will i forfeit my admission? Even though I already paid the 1500
2.Can I mail my school and ask for 2 weeks extension?
I already submitted my application and my resumption is January 2023.
Please I need answers. Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255: 3:26pm On Aug 29, 2022
1) I honestly don’t know as I didn’t apply to the school, I only helped a friend (and she had her original certificate) but to get this sorted out just send a mail to the admissions team and they’ll get back to you: international.admissions@royalroads.ca

2) Your affidavit will do, it clearly explains the mistake and if I’m right, most transcripts don’t have a D.O.B so you are good to go.

Ojb555666:
OK, but I have a little problem,
1) I lost my original certificate, I only have the certified true copy now
2) The date of birth on my transcript is different from what I have in my Intl passport, though have affidavit for that.
I hope this won't pose a problem with their evaluation?
And how much they charge for evaluation please?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255: 2:53pm On Aug 29, 2022
Yes they do, alternatively you can pay the school to do an internal evaluation of your transcript.

Use this link to read more on transcripts evaluation:

https://www.royalroads.ca/admission/admission-requirements/international-credential-evaluation

Ojb555666:
Good evening, please does Royal roads require credentials evaluation from WES for admission?

If it’s specifically for masters in accounting, I really don’t know. But if you want to do a PG course, then try Georgian college or Seneca college.

Windsor- You can’t apply now but you can monitor their website for when it opens up.

oluwjuwonlo:
Thank you for the reply, please jenny, do you know of any school still open for January or can i apply for may or September for Windsor now ?

No, January is closed.

The exchange rate is longer what it used to be.

There's something i noticed about Gt dollar cards.
When you do an online transaction, the amount is debited, and same value of the amount is put on 'hold' thereby decreasing your available balance by that transaction amount.
WHAT TO DO: Go to the bank or call your Acc Officer to confirm your available balance and/or if an amount is placed on hold
Cheers
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255: 12:54pm On Aug 16, 2022
How much is in the card?

OLAMINREWA:
Hello house. How have you been paying for visa application fee. I have been getting a declining messages even with the use of dollar debit card? Please help
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255:
Ocool:
It seems that nonsense GTBank card no dey work again. I contacted my account officer about, she told me I was unable to use it because it was cash deposited in the dom account, saying it would only work if it was a transfer.

The easiest solution is to look for a close friend or relative in Canada, US or UK to help you pay with their card over there.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255: 8:40am On Aug 16, 2022
The card is funded with an extra $10 from the amount quoted here by others.

Deejom07:
You may need to need contact your account officer, probably you need to fund your card.

If you still have the same letter (which based on your question, I assume it was typed) , just edit it to suit the purpose of the PTA

Take out anything relating to school fees, the beneficiary etc

Fardowsa:
Thank you, so do I just fill the same letter used for school fees, or I write one
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jenny255: 12:09pm On Aug 10, 2022
A signed instruction letter authorizing the bank to debit your account for the PTA.

It’s the same letter as that of your school fees, just for a different purpose.

Fardowsa:
Hi everyone, so I’m applying for pta on the trade system website. Can I know what authority to debit is? I don’t think it’s the one for tuition payment. Thanks

The rate is always in USD, so for CAD 235 I paid about N115,000 instead of about 70 something thousand bank rate.
