greatbygrace: Good morning A quick question please Can the PA use gift deed from spouse (in personal account) and treasury bills certificate (in accompanying spouse name) as POF? What do you mean by 'in personal account'? If the money is in your wife/husband's personal account all they'd need to do is provide their account statement, the treasury bill certificate and a letter stating the PA has unrestricted access to the funds and treasury bills for the POF. However if the money has already been transferred to the PA's account, the letter should suffice. |

Abubuyaya: - own and run a Cyber cafe - offer general computer services such as printing, typesetting - some software installation - sales of computer accessories etc. - give basic computer lessons to customers - have 2 employees - also offer these services to clients, as in we get contracts from them to set up their cafe or computer sch. I see your dilemma now, I'm sure if we put heads together here we can figure it out. |

xtosync: Hi there, So the anti climax of this long almost two years ordeal is ending with a refusal due to incorrect NOC code. I applied with NOC code 0213 - Computer and Information System Manager.
This is not the testimony I was hoping to drop after a year and 6 months wait, but a lesson for one is a lesson for many. Never too late to do the right thing.
special thanks to Zutlin, Abubuyaya. You guys give me the courage to do this. Sorry about the refusal, thank God you've not given up. You go dey alright last last. @Newmum0615, abeg we need your input for this one. |

Abubuyaya: Thank you so much
I meant letter of introduction sorry. That explains my lead roles and duties to IRCC. How can i tailor NOC 0631 to suit my occupation? Firstly, have you already submitted your application? If not, you can drop your job description so we can brainstorm on how to cut and join it to fit this one. Because your job title is stated explicitly in 0631, I'm sure IRCC did not include all the possible duties under that NOC, there should be room for expansion |

Abubuyaya: Thank you
I saw that but nothing more in terms of job description/duties. Presentation in the references letter will pose a problem
Please help, i see that NOC 0213 that was used has become an issue in gcms notes I saw 0213 as well but that one is a more technical role that probably requires some sort of certification. I didn't know you had already submitted. It may have been easier to find a way to tailor the duties in 0631 to the role you're in. Maybe you need to raise a CSE explaining the mistake. What do you mean by presentation in reference letter? |

Abubuyaya: Good morning great Nairalanders and seniors in the house, please save a sister from possible rejection...
As a cybercafe owner/manager, what NOC best describes my occupation. Please I'd like responses from experience as a cyber cafe owner who got ppr or of someone you know for sure. God bless you already. Check [url= http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/ViewAllTitlesQuickSearch.aspx?val=0&val1=0631&ver=16&val65=Internet+caf%u00e8]this[/url] code. It's 0631 for restaurant and food service managers, however if you view all titles in the drop down you'll see internet cafè manager and cyber cafe manager |

CnCstore: This is exactly what i mean. Okay, you can only claim points for the 1year NYSC, the remaining three years cannot give you points since it's under category C, you'll just add it to your personal history, this way you won't need to provide a reference letter for it. It also means that your points may be lower than you expect since you'll be claiming one year instead of four |

youngRx: All through 2018, even when just 3000 ITAs were issued, scores only went above 450 twice.
The very week i smashed IELTS and finally jumped into the pool with 450, cutoff jumped to 457 and refused to drop below 450 for 7 weeks and after 3 consecutive draws now. i mean, what are the odds??
My village people, una welldone ooo. make una free me nau.
Congrats to all ITA clinchers...really missed those days when every draw Wednesday comes alive with different people dancing and rejoicing in an ITA rain. Now it's jst a drizzle, with one or two drops here and there like a draw never even held in the first place. No worry bros, e go come. Village People Network ain't got nothing on you, if 450 dey complain what will 440 say? |

Topsmamen: Yes, it matters. The applicant is not eligible to claim FSW points with C. But as long as he/she meets the minimum requirement of 1 year continuous paid work experience in primary job (with skill level 0), then it's all good. The 3-year job can go under the personal history. Yes, I agree. If I understand his question correctly he may be asking if he can claim points for 4years total as work experience instead of 1year even though the other 3years is in category C. |

Topsmamen: Yes, that's correct. Your total work experience is 4 years. You will use your NYSC job to claim work experience and get reference letter for that job. Doesn't the fact that it's under category C matter? I mean it can come under personal history but can he still use the 3year experience to claim points? |

I'm 37years old already. I wish I had started this earlier. Okay, so will his bsc be sufficient to get you 440? |

bellville: Congrats to all those who have clinched ITA, PPR and crossed one hurdle or the other.
I just started following this thread mid-January, when I made the decision to leave this country.
I have crossed the ielts hurdle. MOD LSWR- 8.5,8,7.5,9 I want to start the ECA process. I have LL.B from a Nigerian university and 'LL.M from a South African university.
1. Which evaluating body would be best in terms of cost and time? Time is of the essence here as my next birthday is in September and this may affect crs score.
Wes should be your best bet now. No WAEC processing as it is a foreign degree. Hopefully your UNI in SA should have a good transcript processing system, so sending and verification won't be a problem
2. What steps do I need to take, from my end, to start the evaluation process? You'll need to create a profile with WES, I think they give you a profile number after payment which you'll attach to your transcript processing form you'll be sending to your Uni
My husband has Bsc (computer science) and Hnd elect/elect both are from Nigerian schools. Which evaluating body would be best for him? Also, i can see people talking about WAEC verification. have you checked CRS scores without him evaluating his degrees? Or evaluating just his bsc since you're pressed for time. if you can avoid having to do an evaluation for his degrees, it'll definitely be easier. I can't remember if WES does the two or more degrees evaluation, but I think IQAS does. But they take their time
I would be the PA. Elders in the house, I need your guidance. |
