From what I saw on the telly, SUNTAI does not look physically fit
His smart move to dissolve the cabinet is a legal way to buy time and escape the setting up of a panel by the executive council to examine his state of health as required by the constitution. AT THE END OF THE DAY SUNTAI WILL ONLY HAVE HIMSELF TO BLAME JUST AS YARADUA'S BACKERS. TIME WILL PROVE HIM STUPID AS HE IS ONLYPLAYING CASINO WITH HIS LIFE.

Are you sure the guy was truly dismissed. The identity theft may be one of the ploys to redeploy the guy

Was he shown on a national TV for others to learn from and for Nigerian to believe

Is he the only one guilty? What about Wasiu and the Oga at the top which was to book the guy?

There are more questions than answers. I'm not convinced the guy is dismissed

Politics / Re: Fashola Sues Jang Faction Of NGF by jenti: 1:26pm On Jun 02, 2013
Gov Fashola has done the right thing and we all need to applaud his step
In a democratic setting it is d duty of the Courts to interprete the rules in the event of dispute. That is perhaps the edge n better understanding he has which d other governors may not have as a SAN.
Furthermore if he had failed to do so, Gov Jang n his supporting governors would hv transfered the collective resources including the of funds (which no doubt run into millions ) of NGF to his secretariat n it would be too late to cry foul.
Thank God the NGF has a constitution. Let the Pro Jang group not feel jittery, they should proceed to the court n defend their victory if they are sure about d victory
Finally, on funding NLs should know dat as a SAN, BRF is buoyant enof to fund the case without using the resources of Lagos State n it is even likely that it is a pro bono from these colleagues . Any SAN, whether in Govt or not is a multi millionaire. Lawyers know this

embarassedWhat a shame. What a great disappointment to our younger ones. So this is the man we call iroko, a man we held in very high esteem who for a pot of porridge sold his integrity n this is Baba Jang , the A lying old man, a disgrace to Christianity. This old man lied that he won an election ,went to church n offered an abominable ( 419) thanksgiving to God. The Bible says God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sow he will reap. It's all a matter of time. You can fool man, you cannot full God. If d Presido is wise, he will read the handwriting on the wall. What they do for Amechi, they will eventually do to him. embarassed am surprised that many nairalanders are applauding the hunger strategy of this administration in fighting the boko war yet d easterners cried foul when Chief Awolowo adopted the same in the civil war. What a tragedy of double standard.
Now a southern president is using an army headed by a southerner to destroy the North and u think the northerners are happy..hummmm. What goes up must come down. What u sow, you will reap someday
Today it is north, someday it may be Lagos or Enugu or calabar ,let no one cry foul when the tide turns.
I was told that no nation had survived two civil wars. What we have in the north is a civil war. No more no less. I hope by the time our mighty Presido had levelled d north, there will still be a Nigeria to rule .GOD SAVE NIGERIA

omonuan: People should take a look at Access Bank, it has quietly enhanced its value. If you bought at IPO, you would have gone ahead now with stock splits and dividends paid since the market crash. I expect Access to continue to add value to the long term investor.

My broda, shine your eyes well well. Do your due diligence well
Look at the the banks fundamentals in the last five years. Wot is the magic for the new profitability which neva existed few years ago under the same MD.

When a company takes the assets of another company for stipends, its only a matter of time. Anoda bubble will soon burst. Read the Nairaland thread on Access Bank/ Intercontinental merger vis a vis the the role of AMCON n CBN . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Youtube provides you with audiovisual training in successful stock investment
You will learn all the basic instruments you need to know to evaluate a company's performance. You will know if the report presented to you upon which you are basing your judgement is real or cooked by their auditors.

You will heardirect from the doyen of stock investment, the "sage of omaha" - Warren Buffet himself on what he looks for in a stock in any country of the world b4 he invest there.Broda, there is so much on youtube that by the time you are educated, you will know you can hadly fail in stock investment

What most of us lack is the willingness to pay the price in financial education which unfortunately is not taught in any university in the world. As long as we want to make it without the willingness to pay the price , we will continue to loose money to those insider traders who tell us what we want to hear. Stock investment is not lottery. You need to do your due diligence and only you can do it. NOBODY CAN LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOURSELF

Most companies in the market have two reports - the actual and the one for the public. Looking at their past 5yrs will reveal a lot to you. For instance, one of our banks that had bn in red in the last 3yrs suddenly declare a multibillion profit under the same MD , you dont need a Prof of magic to tell you something is wrong

Try Youtube and type "stock investment", you will be amazed with the quantum of information available. Try it and spend just three days on it. You will thank God that we met on Nairaland

Happy stock investment

My sympathy goes to all who lost money in market. I lost a bit too but it is much less. If you desire your money to work for you, u cannot afford to completely ignore stocks. That is one of the ways your money can work for you rather than you working for money

My basic rules are

1. Never trust ur hard earned money into the hand of any stock brcker. Most of them are not better than you. They go by newspaper reports

2. For now, dont borrow to buy stocks. invest ur money so that if things dont go ur way, you will not go asorrow

3. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. Stock investment need a lot of information. You neesd to understand ratios like eps, p/e , Return on Capital employed (roce), dividend yield, dividend cover, debt-to- equuty ratio, b/v per share etc. These are what helps to know how sound a company is economically. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO LEARN BEFORE INVESTING, DONT GO INTO STOCK INVESTMENT. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE

4. You must also learn about Technical charts, moving averages, rsi, volume movements, trends etc,
These will help you to know when to buy or possibly sell. They determine the right Timing. Buy when the stock price and the p/e ratio is at its lowest

5.Always buy with an intention to keep - so buy fundamentally strong brands but be ready to sell if u make 4-6 times of your cost n reinvest into another good an cheap stock. This is Warren Buffet's techniq

6. If you really want to learn, i will recommend YOUTUBE for you. There is a lot there from time tested investors. It had really helped me. I lost money in the past becase I did not know what I know now. I was buyung on the basis of stock newspaper n magazines mny of which had folded up no

7. Finally, dont be carried away by many of the analyst on Nairaland. Many of them are paid writers of stockbokers. Remember my warning ..DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE.IT IS UR HARD-EARNED MONEY. STOCK BUSINESS IS NOT STOCKFISH BUSINESS.IT IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS

On a last note, MONITOR UR STOCKS ON WEEKLY BASIS, create an alert on your portfolio software so that if the price drops to may be, 80% of purchase price, you can sell to reduce your losses

Happy stock investment

I saw genuine transformation at ikogosi and I am really impressed
All the roads were well tarred and there is no overcontration of resources at the capital city. Iam not an indigene of Ekiti and have never had any encounter with this manbut this mans but his style of government is very impressive to me. Ride on Dr Fayemi. I love your style

A very corrupt n worthless organisation. While the police is making frantic efforts from their leadership to do better n reduce corruption, FRSC had taking over as perhaps the most corrupt public organisation in Nigeria
Nothing good can come from a corruption- ridden organisation as FRSC as it is presently constituted. I suggest a total scrap or a complete transformation. Until then, expect anything reasonable or otherwise

Education / Re: FG Approves 51 Universities To Offer Post Graduate Studies by jenti: 9:28pm On Jul 13, 2012
Who is accrediting the NUC itself?
You accredit 51 out of 107 universities to run postgraduate courses, why call the rest Universities?. NUC should just have renamed them as degree awarding College of Education/Polytechnics . You limit the rest of the institutions, how will they continue to employ qualified hands. No professor worth its salt will be contended supervising only undergraduates

I only hope NUC will not try to force the so called "non-accredited" PG schools to close by force by fire . Pls give the citizens the opportunity to choose whether they want government accredited PG schools or ur private non-accredited ones. IT IS THEIR CHOICE and a fundamental one for that matter. Even in military regimes , we have not seen such autocratic administrations in our universitY regulation all in the name of accreditation

I am waiting for the NUC list. We now know of a University in Rivers state that awarded a Phd and BSc to a couple and their excellent performance at the National Level is a testimony of our accreditation .
It started with Part-time studies, next suspension of some private universities, now it is their postgraduate courses. All in less than a month.
