True Christians know it is wrong to celebrate Jesus birthday like the worldly people do.

There are many things the Jews celebrated God never commanded but God honored it.

Even Jesus participated in them when he was on the earth.

An example is the passage where Jesus says on the last day of the feast that if anyone is thirsty they should come to him and drink. He was referencing a particular celebration going on at the time where they would later pour water at an altar 7 times. He was speaking and making it have full meaning and expression in himself.

Jesus never condemned many of those celebrations as far as it had to do with honoring Him. Even water baptism was done to convert people to judaism but was not in a commandment to do so for that purpose but Jesus participated.

But today's religious self righteous spirits without knowledge love to condemn what they don't understand.

If you don't want to celebrate don't celebrate leave people to celebrate.
