Really I was unable to get my transcript from the school den due becos of the strike before he start the process, so there's no way i can apply for masters without me having the transcript but he said I can still do the same course.. but that's my fear

Hello Buddies. To say I am heartened by the gross selflessness that people display here is an understatement, this goes to show that , no matter how faint it is, there is hope for this country.
My Question: I am planning to go for my VIsa interview by december against spring2018 admission, However, the current realities on ground are about to force me defer the admission to FALL2018. SO incase my visa is approved in december, do i have to visit embassy for interview again if I eventually defer the admission till FALL.

You will have to refill a new ds160 form and update it back on your appointment interview page so that it will match

Please I need your opinion on this. My uncle in the US sent me a bank letter which I presented to the school I applied. The letter is on the bank letter headed paper and duly signed. The school accepted the letter but the challenge I have now is the embassy. People keep saying they went with statement. Are they going to turn down my bank letter which states the amount in my uncle's account but not a bank statement. Thank you

The VO would be curious, just like any regular person, to know what you, as a 19-year old, do for a living that explains your having such an amount in your account. I wouldn't recommend that.

1) Yes you will be granted a visa if the VO sees u as a genuine student. SAT doesn't affect your interview.

2)your age isn't an issue for admission if your documents are complete and valid

3)Tips&Advice: If your sisters belong to the Alakija family or your school doesn't require SAT to grant scholarships then don't write it. If not, then make things easier for yourself.

if your school has a compulsory orientation then you should be working toward attending which means travelling before and not on that date

The right thing to answer when asked where you will stay is the truth about where you plan to stay. Believe me when I tell you we are not looking for any set of magic "correct" answers to the questions we ask. We are just trying to determine if you are a bona fide student or not.
Genuine students tend to have plans, tell us what yours are.

FOR WHEREVER YOU SAY YOU'RE STAYING, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO PAY FOR IT. STAYING IN THE DORM WILL REQUIRE THE FUNDS UPFRONT. IF STAYING WITH A RELATIVE, AND AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED.

Marshal University West Virginia but it's gonna be through a Pathway program, and dia fees strong die ooooh na like 33k both living expenses and tution na if it hasn't increased now so it's left for you to decide if you would like to go through that route off course tofel is waived for Nigerians, have someone that went through the pathway this year around August and he applied for physical studies cum Aerobic studies and after the interview he was successful shaaaa ........

Please o, what is the right thing to answer when one is asked where he or she will be staying during the programme? Is the answer not School Hostel?

Am a little bit confused as a friend dropped by to tell me he learnt that choice of answer is usually wrong.

Do you have the approved and rejected VISA transcript? No one can answer those questions for you,they are personal questions. The best thing to do is to check the transcripts and see how people have answered those questions in the past, there is no wrong or right answer. Each applicant is different. You can use the transcript to draft your own answer as applicable to you.If you don't have the transcripts, let me know
