Travel › Re: 9 Countries Where Nigerians Can Easily Get Permanent Residency by Jetjacky(m): 2:57pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Harrisonwo: For many Nigerians who are on the search for greener pastures, a country giving them permanent residency is one of the goals they aspire to, because this makes getting work very easy. Surprisingly, there are many countries in the world where it is relatively easy to get a permanent residency, although many people do not know of these countries. Here are some of the easiest countries: 1. Belize Belize is a country on the eastern coast of Central America. If you have stayed in Belize for five years and you have a bank account balance of at least N800,000 every month you can be given permanent residency. The only reason you may not be given residency is if any of your parents is a citizen of a country that is at war with Belize. 2. Ecuador Ecuador is about equal in area to Nevada, is in the northwest part of South America fronting on the Pacific. To become a permanent resident in Ecuador, you need only N400,000 and a clean criminal record. Also, you can only be out of the country for 90 days in a span of 3 years. You also need to show that you earn about N320,000 per month and that you have invested N1 million in a CD from an Ecuadorian bank, or in real estate. 3. Seychelles The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa. To get a residency permit in Seychelles, all you need is about N5,000,000. Apart from that you must be contributing to the economic, social or cultural life of Seychelles in any way you can. 4. Panama Panama is a country on the isthmus linking Central and South America. The Panama Canal, a famous feat of human engineering, cuts through its center, linking the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to create an essential shipping route. To get a residency permit for Panama, you have to clear medical tests and have lived in the country for at least five years.Or you can get married to a Panamanian. 5. Paraguay Paraguay is a landlocked country between Argentina, Brazil and Bolivia, home to large swaths of swampland, subtropical forest and chaco, wildernesses comprising savanna and scrubland. To be a permanent resident, all you have to do is deposit about N2,000,000 in a Paraguayan bank account after you have stayed at least 3 years in the country. 6. Macedonia Macedonia is a landlocked Balkan nation of mountains, lakes and ancient towns with Ottoman and European architecture. If you’re an entrepreneur and are willing to invest at least N140,000,000 you can become a Macedonian citizen in less than a year. 7. Hungary Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Its capital, Budapest, is bisected by the Danube River. If you are willing to invest N105,000,000 in Hungarian Government Bonds. Once you pay the money, you can get a permanent residence permit in Hungary within 2 months. 8. Dominican Republic The Dominican Republic is a Caribbean nation that shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti to the west. You can get permanent residency in the Dominican Republic after staying there for at least two years. Or if you don’t want to stay for two years, you can invest $200,000 in real estate or a business. Apart from that, you also have to show a steady income. 9. Russia Russia, the world’s largest nation, borders European and Asian countries as well as the Pacific and Arctic oceans. In Russia, you’ve got to to become a citizen all you have to do is pay tax, learn Russian and pass the language test to get Russian citizenship. Now which would you like to visit? lol. Russia! |

seunmsg: Go and read the OP again and stop making illogical comments. MTN has been transferring the money since 2006 and the previous PDP governments did nothing about it. In fact, officials of the past regimes collaborated with them to perpetrate this scam against the Nigerian people. We should commend the present government for bringing this out in its bid to rid the country of all sorts of corruption instead of calling the war on corruption a moronic war.
Going forward, MTN should be forced to enlist on the Nigerian stock exchange. By so doing, management will be more diffuse and they will have to make more public disclosure of their financial statements. Regulators and interested members of the public will also be able to monitor them more effectively on issues like capital flight. while you are at it. Please commend them for putting this country and it's citizens in an impoverish state. Also praise them for masking the face of this country with ridicule and blindness via leadership. You want to write... So that people would applaud you? Okay... In the last regime... When the worth of naira plummeted a bit... What was the drastic reaction of the public? And what did the leaders then, do? Did they not adhere to the demands of the citizens? No matter how bad we tag them to be, this is the leadership skill they possessed that your golden jewelled administration can not offer. Don't bother quoting me as this is in no means an open letter for dialogue, rather, a word of advice from a fellow brother. |
