Rubbish!!!! The annoying fact is, "that Nigerians condemned Buhari for appointing Hadiza-Bala-Usman under his transition committee" . For I believe, no sane Nigerian would do such. The simple question to ask is, what makes it wrong and why? We must not be reminded that his enemies would always see to it that whatever step he takes is always evil and condemnable by the foes!!! What would one ever expect rather than naive replica of ridiculed legacies their so called heroes and role models (GEJ, FAYOSE, OKUPE, ADAMU MUAZU, PEJ) left!!!
If truly she was employed to bastardize GEJ's regime as you've wrongly claimed, then we demand concrete evidence and tired of such juvenile reasoning you all inherited from your heroes and role models. Does that mean, when I'm fighting for a rightful cause and your Hero was dancing a day after the girls' kidnap, I am simply destroying a regime in favor of an opponent!!! Such stupidity indeed has no bound.
Our brothers and sisters are dying for no offense abroad simply because, our government is not taking necessary measures. God alone knows how much has been looted in this administration only because, Buhari's foes called Nigerians, were then commending mediocrity at the expense of meritocracy. Only in this administration, looters are celebrated as heroes despite undergoing rains of strikes. Yet, we are told "It's the best administration in Nigerians' history" I truly believe, had the souls of those who fought for this nation still alive, they would only regret their efforts.
To the foes, all these did not amounts GEJ'S devastation, but Hadiza-Bala-Usman did.

You omitted a word "Higher". Why should I deny the fact that, scientifically, I'm an animal but a higher animal in precise. Without an iota of doubt, I bliv u are highly affected by ur hero's maladministration since you still considered it insulting, calling a human an animal. That alone has really defined you folk. So let him go and treat the likes of you that are neither higher animals nor lower animals.
Yeah.... I do believe that you would still recall those confessions made by ur role model, Fayose and Co, over election rigging under ur hero's watch. This alone shows how highly transparent ur hero was by even denying confessions made by the perpetrators. It is not shocking that ur types cherishes such barbarity as transparency!!!
Sincerely speaking, I don't hate him in person. I only disliked his administration. He been ur hero is not a surprise, the surprise is, AMIDST SHEEPS, THERE ARE BLACK SHEEPS.

It's not been disclosed the position offered by the U.S but conflict resolution seems an obvious guess. Conflict resolution seems a post which he has the expertise and the gravitas to manage well.
We need GEJ in Nigeria with his usual "all is well" approach but it seems the world needs him more.
I pray and hope Dr Jonathan ends up resolving the biblical feud between Israel and Palestine.
I see Dr Jonathan heading the United Nations in future.

How Dr Jonathan got his name
Canoe-maker Lawrence and Eunice Jonathan named their son Goodluck after losing seven children at infancy.
When Jonathan was born his father took a look at him and said this child must be the lucky one and so named the smiling infant "Goodluck".

P:S
I can now finally destroy the shrine I built in honour of GEJ in my house. A shrine where I sacrifice APC victims every 1st Sunday of the month. GEJ carry go, resolve the Israeli Palestinian wahala.

Lolz.. Iaffin in swahili. By the time GEJ deal with whatever position dem givam, dem eyes no go open only, dem go high.

It is political sophistication learnt from Southwestern Nigeria.

Is Aba not an Ngwa city? It's quite unfortunate that vocal/wealthy minority wants to rule over the majority in a democracy when we all know that Aba is governed by their Igbos tribesmen from local government to Federal constituencies since 1999 till date, yet there has been no complaints.

Haba, let's give it to them, they are the most hospitable breeds in Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Jonathan won’t contest in 2019 – Babatope by jibrilaminu003(m): 11:05am On Apr 23, 2015
MichaelSokoto:
A member, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Ebenezer Babatope, has said that President Goodluck Jonathan will not run for the presidency in 2019.

He explained that the party would shop for a strong Hausa/Fulani candidate to run against the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, in 2019.

Babatope, who is also a member of the party’s elders’ caucus, spoke with our correspondent on Victoria Island, on Wednesday.

He described the outgoing President as a leader, who had done his best in uplifting the nation’s democracy, adding that Nigeria would forever remember Jonathan as a committed leader who kept the nation as one despite several challenges.

He said he was sure that the President would not seek to contest the 2019 presidential election although “the people of the South-South have the right to present a candidate for the election, I’m sure the President will not contest; He will lead us to against the All Progressives Congress.”

He said, “The President has set himself apart as a great Nigerian leader, who is committed to seeing Nigeria blossom into a great democracy. He has laid a solid foundation for the nation’s democracy and he would forever be remembered.”

“The President will not contest the 2019 presidential election. The PDP will look for a strong Hausa/Fulani presidential candidate to contest against Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

“We have a strong presence in the South-South, South-East and we have two governors in the South-West. We are going to slug it out together in the North in 2019. We are going to flush out the APC in 2019 because we are going to correct our mistakes and take back the central government.”

The former Minister of Transport said PDP’s National Executive Council, the BoT and Elders’ Caucus would meet soon in Abuja to assess the outcome of the general elections.

He said, “We are going to restructure our party. The National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, will convene a meeting in two weeks’ time when we will objectively discuss the last elections.

“Apart from the grand conspiracy against our party by the powers that be in the elections, we are going to tackle the problem of imposition, which was a great area of mistake on our side. Crises were recorded across the states over imposition. We are going to guard against this. The APC will, naturally, make its own mistakes and we will capitalise on these.

“It is given in politics that mistakes would occur among the ruling party. We will all see when this begins to happen. We are watching and waiting.”

Imagine....... This ppl r actually adding more fuel to the fire!!! I believe by 2019 or so, the Igbos might be looking up to the Presidential seat wic they bliv would be their turn to once again rule after the demise of Nnamdi Azikwe . But all of a sudden, you want to slot a hausa/fulani guy!!! This truly is, frying pan to fire. May be Namadi Sambo/Fayose would then, be their presidential aspirants. Moreover, pdp are still in power and why the worry about 2019!!!!

The president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has asked the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to support one of President Goodluck Jonathan’s right-hand men, Dr Akinwunmi Adesina, to emerge the next president of the African Development Bank (AfDB).

Dr Adesina is the current minister of agriculture and rural development.

To this end, Buhari has communicated his support for Adesina’s candidacy to the Ghanaian president, John Dramani Mahama, who is the current chairman of the sub-regional group, ECOWAS.

In a statement issued in Abuja yesterday by the spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Malam Garba Shehu, the president-elect was quoted as saying that he was endorsing Adesina’s candidacy for the AfDB top job not just because the minister was a Nigerian but because he has a record of excellent performance over time.

“Dr Adesina has a proven track record in a career that predates his position as Nigeria’s minister for agriculture and rural development,” Buhari said.

He noted that Adesina had years of experience while working in Francophone and Anglophone countries, and a passion to help eradicate poverty in Africa by reducing unemployment and inequality among African youths.

“Dr Adesina is also an agricultural development expert with 24 years of experience in developing and managing successful agricultural programmes across Africa.

“Until his appointment as the minister of agriculture and rural development in 2011, he was the vice president, Policy and Partnerships Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA). Additionally, he has held senior leadership positions in a number of agricultural institutions in the world,” the statement added.
