Krak: I am on the MTN 2,500 Night Plan and still had several hundred megabytes that could be used during the day.

When I tried sending credit to other numbers via Share and Sell I discovered that MTN was deducting from my megabytes. I did not know this ontime untill all my free megabytes were wiped off.

I need to tell you that I had credit on my phone during all these period and nothing happened to the credit.

Please I need to know what is wrong as I dont think this is proper at all.

Hello Krak, Share and Sell does not make use of internet connection. It is unlikely that your Share and Sell activity used your data plan.

Hi jeflexy, for clarity the data cap applied to Blackberry bundles is currently 2GB for monthly BBC and BB Absolute. 500MB for weekly BBC and BB Absolute and 100MB for daily BBC and BB Absolute. Also, alerts are sent to you informing you of your usage status at various percentages of usage. It is also important to accurately measure data usage on a BB by use of apps as the option is not made available on BBs by default. Thanks.

Megateq: Pls I shared data (sme data share) that with these 2 lines : 09037914050 and 08036565310 in which my line has been deducted. But surprisely, the lines did not got the data whereas my line have been deducted. Pls what is the solution and this is my number:08103671396. l did it yesterday around 5pm

Kash007: For the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that mtn charges my credit balance each time I browse on my phone. This will continue until my credit balance runs out before further browsing will now be charged to my data plan. I now have a situation, where I cant leave credit on my phone for fear of losing it. All attempts to get this daylight robbery stopped through their customer care have proved abortive. Is it just me?

Hello Morofolu, checks on your line reveals that you no longer have data shared.
Your line is no longer a beneficiary to the line that shared data with your line.

Truly sorry about this situation, Haryoryhemie. By default the SIM 1 slot is locked to MTN lines and should accept any other MTN SIM. I suggest you take the phone to our service centre to report this issue for technical assistance with the device. All inconvenience regretted.

Hi Jregz, if this is a data bundle you can confirm its balance by dialling *131*4#. But if its a data bonus, you can dial *559*2# to check the balance. Regards.

Hi santosjohn, simply send EXPIRE to 21600 to deactivate an existing BB plan. You can activate the new plan of choice afterwards. Regards.
