I just spoke to my cousin, i asked him if he thinks this girl is meant for him, in his words "I don't think any girl is meant for any guy, she is a decent girl, i can't imagine the rest of my life without her". He then went further to ask me, is there any sort of relationship you have ever had with this girl?

I said No ofcourse. He then said ok, she just bought a new car and she sent him the pictures. I then asked him, did she tell you what she does for a living, he said yes. A Facebook user identified as Dud Malumfashi, has taken to the social networking platform to share the photos of a young Nigerian man who recently showed his patroitism by constructing a helicopter for the Nigerian army.
According to reports, the young man designed the helicopter using green colour to represent Nigeria, and delivered the helicopter to Borno state for display during the army day celebration.

The young genuis is from Rigasa Igabi local government area in Kaduna state.
Malumfashi who shared the photos online, wrote: "Brilliant young boy from Rigasa Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna state, designed and built Helicopter for Nigerian Army. The helicopter was displayed during the army day celebration in Maiduguri. The boy is good !! AHUUA !!"

A woman has fallen to her death while trying to escape from a scorpion in Alaja community, Megida, in the Ayobo area of Lagos State.

The 40-year-old petty trader, Ablavi Hunkpati, fell into an abandoned well and died, PUNCH Metro reports.

Our correspondent learnt that after failed attempts by residents, relatives and sympathisers to rescue her, officials of the Lagos State Fire Service were called to the scene.

Her remains were subsequently recovered and handed over to the police by officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency.

The Togolese woman, her husband and their four children were said to have lived in the house for over 20 years.

A resident, who did not identify himself, said the incident happened on Saturday around 2pm.

He said:

“The woman has been living in the house for over than 20 years. As of the time she packed in, that well had been abandoned. Usually, people sit and relax on the planks used to cover the well. She was trying to run from a scorpion. She rested on the planks, which gave way. That was how she fell into the well and died.”

The abandoned well was at the entrance into the victim’s room and parlour apartment.

The house had also been cordoned off by security operatives.

A relative of Hunkpati, who identified himself only as David, showed our correspondent a bottle of soft drink he bought for her before the incident.

He said:

“She kept the drink on a drum and wanted to rid the planks on the well of insects because children usually play around there. She had finished cleaning the place when she fell.”

David explained that the victim had sighted a scorpion, and panicked when she fell into the well.

“She screamed and we rushed to see how to help her, but it was too late. She had died before anyone could do anything because the well is over 100 feet deep. We called the fire service, but when they came, it was too late,” he added.

It was learnt that the victim’s husband and children had gone to Togo to break the news to other family members.

The Public Affairs Officer of the Lagos State Fire Service, Mrs Bola Ajao, who spoke for the acting Director, Rasak Musibau, said firefighters arrived as soon they received a distress call about the incident.

She said:

“We received the distress call around 2.59pm and the Abesan Fire Station, being the closest to the area, responded. The officials arrived at the scene around 3.06pm. By the time they got there, it was discovered that some of the victim’s relatives had lowered themselves into the well with ropes. They, however, could not bring her out. The fire service men recovered the woman’s corpse.

“We have been telling residents that no matter how little an emergency may appear, they should always get in touch with emergency workers. The person who tried to bring the deceased’s woman out was not trained in safety techniques and it is possible that it was in the process of dragging her with ropes that the situation aggravated.”

80-year-old Haji believes that “cleanliness brings him sickness.” That’s why he hasn’t bathed at all in the past 60 years. He lives in isolation in Dejgah village, in the Southern Iranian province of Fars.
Haji hates contact with water. Even the suggestion of a bath makes him very angry. And all these years of escaping bath time have taken their toll – Haji is almost the color of earth. He has managed to completely blend in with his surroundings. In fact, it’s easy to mistake him for a rock statue if he sits very still. Not surprisingly he doesn’t have too many friends around for dinner as his favourite meal is rotting porcupine meat



Amou’s last wash was way back in 1954 when Elvis Presley just launching rock ‘n’ roll and CIE was still using steam engines to pull its trains. Once he claimed a group of young men tried to give him a shower but he escaped before the dreaded water touched him.
It’s not just bathing that Haji dislikes. His disgust for fresh food and clean drinking water is unmistakable. Instead, he prefers his favorite meal of rotten porcupine meat. He drinks 5 liters of water a day for health purposes, but only from a large rusty oil can. He likes to fill his smoking pipe with animal feces instead of tobacco. Haji doesn’t really have a house – the earth is his home. He lives in a hole in the ground, much like a grave, to keep him grounded and in touch with the reality of life. Sometimes he sleeps in an open brick shack that the villagers constructed for him out of pity. Locally, he is known as Amou Haji. ‘Amou’ is the Farsi term of endearment for a kind old man.



Haji’s lifestyle of choice is very unique. The villagers say that he had suffered severe emotional setbacks in his youth, which led him to make these extreme choices. Even so, he does seem a lot happier than some people who live in large homes with comforts and conveniences. Haji doesn’t seem to have a care in the world. He has nothing to lose, nothing to fear.
Haji’s epic avoidance of soap and water sets a new record, the previous one was held by 66-year-old Indian man, Kailash Singh, who had not taken a bath over 38 years.
