Express Entry Next Draw Date 2021
By Ella Bergquist February 8, 2021 2 min. read

Next Express Entry Draw DateCanadaPermanent ResidencyExpress Entry Draws
Express Entry next draw date prediction: next Express Entry draw will be on February 10, 2021.

The Canadian government conducts an Express Entry draw approximately every two weeks. Most recently it has been a trend that the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has been conducting the Express Entry draw date on a fortnightly basis which is about every 15 days. The frequency of 15 days might change but a minimum of two express entry draws occur in a month.

When Is the Next Express Entry Draw Date?
We first expected the next Express Entry Draw date to be two weeks from the 173rd draw which made our first prediction but the draw did not happen. We are now expecting a draw on February 10, 2021. The latest Express Entry Draw was #174 on January 21, 2021. The 173rd draw offered 4,626 ITA to those with a cut off CRS score of 454. This draw was targeted towards the CEC program.

Due to the coronavirus/COVID-19, many things in immigration can be unpredictable but we assume that the next date will be two weeks from the previous one.

Any person wey still dey wait for NNPC EH list you are in a very long thing. Look to get the job is not beans, you need a very strong connection, I mean someone very strong in the presidency. It is highly competitive, senators do not have leg in this matter sef. Only few, I mean like 3% of candidate that passed through the screening process will be employed. Trust me I know what am saying.

This was actually what we experienced in the last DPR recruitment, we waited for over 3years expecting list to be out, only to hear that they have finished recruiting.

Please do not expect them to inform the public that they have finished recruiting for EH or have released list. They will recruit silently and only the highly connected will be informed.

NSCDC: Presidency stops DCG Madu, asks CG Gana to remain in office despite tenure expiration
Post author
By Wale Odunsi
Post date
January 19, 2021

There is confusion at the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) over Commandant General, Abdullahi Gana.

Gana’s extended tenure elapsed on Monday January 18.

In 2019, the federal government through the Ministry of Interior elongated his tenure by six months.

NSCDC spokesman, Emmanuel Okeh, in a statement on July 19, announced that the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbeshola communicated the approval.

Now, the presidency has asked Gana to remain in office pending an official memo on the next line of action, PRNigeria reports.

Gana was said to have handed over yesterday to a Deputy Commandant General, Hilary Kelechi Madu.

But the presidency, it was gathered, insists it did not give a handover directive and as such, the status quo be maintained.

The claim is that Gana still has two years in service.

If so, stakeholders wonder why was he granted a six-month extension that elapsed on Monday.

They argue that the government could have in 2019 approved his incumbency until “actual” retirement date

Madu is currently the most senior officer at NSCDC after Gana.

The DCG in charge of Operations now has to wait longer as efforts are being made to further extend his boss’s stay in office.

Powerful forces are lobbying the presidency and top officials for this to happen.

President Muhammadu Buhari and Aregbesola had been warned not to grant additional tenure extension to heads of paramilitary agencies.

Aside Gana, others are Controller-General, Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Jaafaru Ahmed, and Comptroller-General, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede.

A retired Immigration Officer, Daniel Makolo, had stated that Aregbesola acted beyond his constitutional authority ab initio.

Aregbesola chairs the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).

Makolo said he had no legal power “to recommend or extend the statutory tenure of any public servant, no matter and however industrious such an officer may be.”

The human rights lawyer pointed out that the Public Service Commission is the body empowered with specific provisions for entry and exit.

“The practice of arbitrary, illegal elongation of the statutory tenure of public office occupants sets a dangerous precedent for bureaucracy and national security”, he warned.

Thanks for the clarification.

just imagine the proportion. Thats why they always appear understaffed. smh

@yungmin: Do you mean they are still understaffed with that Figure considering the recent economic downturn in the organization and the country as a whole. Also, couple with the fact that we have a visionless person as a leader. I am always scared each time I see that figure.

It's a very good information from the minister, atleast it has helped to ease the tension of not knowing what is going on in the recruitment. Now we know the recruitment is not cancelled. But politicians, when dey wan share money (budget) word dey sweet for their mouth. Please he should act quickly towards completing it this year as promised.

Guys,
Like I said the other time, most likely, this EH recruitment will be cancelled. A lot of factors are against it. The GH are very lucky, it was released immediately after they won the court case, they didn't not waste time after the judgement was released because it would have been frustrated like the EH. The simple truth is that the EH list will only be released when the PIB is approved by the senate and mind you the senate is not ready to approve that PIB. They will keep on postponing it as usual because it doesn't favour them.
My only advice is that youth should start protesting for a change of leadership in this country. That will be the next thing after the #ENDSARS

Guys,
Recruitments are still on hold because of the worse economic situation in the country. Buhari even said it stylishly that we are facing worse economic problem now and base on Senate report when they glanced through the budget 2021, it was discovered that 52% of the budget was on salary, as a result they are debating on scrapping some agencies that are not bringing returns and also agencies that have same functions with other agencies. Meanehile, in the budget National assembly had 128 billion naira. They didn't think of diversying the economy when the economy was booming with high cost of petroleum sales and now the only thing they can think of is to render a lot of people unemployed by scrapping some agencies. It is a very bad idea if you ask me.

The truth is always bitter. There are serious internal politics going on and they have refuse to disclose it. Senior/manageral staffs are kicking against the EH recruitment with the help of union.

Good morning pals,

Please candidates that have collected appointment letter through replacement recruitment should post a picture of the letter on this platform to enable us know when the new intake will go for training. Information reaching me is that both replacement and new intake we go to camp the same time, which means new intake will soon receive letter of appointment.

Kind regards,
J.

Hi,
Good afternoon, this is my first time of writting in this platform. I wish to inform you guys to stay put as they have been several information from high ranking officers that the shortlisting will be out this year, precisely in the month of October which is as a result of the ongoing internal exams and promotion for staffs NSCDC. Also, there was an agreement that the present CG needs to round up most of his ongoing projects including this recruitment before handing over to the next person, that was why his tenure was extended to December this year. All I can advice is that pray, be patient and be positive. It is certain names will be out this year.

Kind regards,
Jigga
