If your baby resemble your next door neighbour complain, if your baby resemble your friends complain. As for me, even if my baby never pick any dominat trait in me, the mother has some explanation to do. It is common in Africa to attribute baby features to long distant relatives which you have never heard of. I think the reason is to protect the sanctity of marriage then. If this has happen in Warri, Abuja or Delta where whites frequent, I will say it is white baby, but if this happened in remote village without access to white male, I will believe. But to have happened in England (white man's country) says a lot. Ant talk of gene mutation is gibberish, it is an attempt not to ridicules the woman. If a woman is playing away, do it with same colour as your husband, that way you can get away with it. There is always somebody that the baby will resemble in both families. But when you play with. In this case, there is noone the pickin resemble. [b][b]I will believe when black baby is born to white couples in a place where there is no blackm, and when Chinese couples in village have black baby Thanks Mr. Fix it for this. This shit only happens in mixed race communities or countries. Let it happen in my village or somewhere we don't have mixed race communities then we can believe! |
For those of you who are claiming that there could be a white recessive gene in either parents as there could be decendants of ex slaves from Brazil now settled in Nigeria, These people in question are Igbo are there is no history of any returnee slaves in Igbo land as much as I have read. The simple thing is for the man to do a DNA and take another picture with the results. ![]() |
Dosen't the girl look like her mum ? Yes the girl looks like the mum but what of the dad? and whywould this happen in England of al places. Why not in Nigeria or some other african country? The first case happened in SA to a white couple, of course there are blacks in the country. If I'm the Man, I would go for DNA before smiling in that picture and claiming to be the father!!! |

Nigerians will find out for themselves after the elections in 2011. Many have come and deceived us in the past with similar rhetoric and we are still waiting on their promises. You have a good reputation now, do your best to keep it clean but remember you are only human, I wish you the best!!! |
Jega, Don't be too quick to say this, Nigerians will find out for themselves after the elections in 2011. @ Id-nole Thanks for sharing the same ideas as I do. I can’t believe our leaders have allowed these lies by the British and Portuguese traders to remain in our history books. Mongo Park claim to have discovered river Niger when people have been living close to the river for hundreds of years before then ?Same for Education, reading and writing. History has it that the Igbo slaves taken to the US communicated in writing called “Nsibidi” and some of the graves in Virginia has these writings on them today and the white man still claim they brought education and civilization to us. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nsibidi_symbols More recently I’m currently in Trinidad and was in a discussion with some of my colleagues and one of them from Lithuania (a tiny country in Eastern Europe) claimed his ancestors discovered Tobago. I asked him the mean by discovery? He couldn’t answer. The Caribs were living in these islands before the Spaniards, French and British arrived with guns and murdered as many as they could before claiming the land and hence a “discovery” in the history books before heading back to Africa to buy/ capture slaves to work in their sugar plantations! Same for Columbus for discovering America! Please educate these people whenever you meet the daft ones as we have moved on and know the truth right now!!! Our forefathers believed every lie from the white man and that’s why Africa remained in darkness till today. |
By Davidson Iriekpen, 06.22.2010 Former Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Alhaji Bello Lafiaji and his Personal Assistant Usman Amali were convicted and sentenced to 16 years imprisonment yesterday. His personal assistant Usman Amali was sentenced to 7 years. Their sentences would run concurrently for four and three years respectively. Justice Olusola Williams of a Lagos court, in a judgment that lasted for two hours, pronounced Lafiaji and Amali guilty for gross abuse of office and conspiracy. While the judge pronounced Lafiaji guilty on a six-count charge out of the seven-count charge preferred against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Amali was convicted on a four-count charge. She held that Lafiaji conspired with Amali and illegally received 164,400 euros from one Ikenna Onochie, a suspect with the NDLEA, in order to release him and his vehicles from custody. Justice Williams submitted that from the evidence before her, the prosecution proved his case beyond reasonable doubt, adding that it was also able to prove that the release of a drug baron, was irregular. “The action of the defendants to carry out their unlawful action is not in doubt. There was an agreement between them to do what they did. The prosecution has proved that the release of Ikenna Onochie was irregular," the court held While the former NDLEA boss did all he could to elevate the standards of the agency, he however allowed the love of money to tarnish his hard-earned reputation, Williams argued. In addition, Justice Williams observed that Amali, (second defendant) also followed the biddings of his boss (Lafiaji) blindly. The court held that the testimony of Samuel Gadzama (PW1) was credible and acceptable, adding that his testimony did not change and did not contradict himself under cross-examination. Gadzama, who is head of NDLEA Special Investigation Unit (but is now under suspension), had during his testimony told the court that Lafiaji instructed him to release Onochie and his confiscated property the same day he was arrested. He also testified that Lafiaji instructed him not to document the arrest and seizure on the ground that the suspect was ‘a friend of the NDLEA’. Lafiaji, who was removed as NDLEA boss in 2005, pleaded not guilty to the seven-count charge of conspiracy and abuse of office levelled against him and Amali. The former NDLEA boss and his PA were also said to have conspired to use their offices to confer corrupt advantage upon themselves, contrary to Sections 26 and 19 of the ICPC Act, 2000. The ICPC had in its amended charge alleged that the accused had in November 2005 conspired to unlawfully receive 164,300 euro from one Ikenna Onochie, a suspect with the NDLEA, being exhibit seized from the suspect in order to release him and his vehicles from custody. They were also said to have conspired to use their offices to confer corrupt advantage upon themselves, contrary to Sections 26 and 19 of the ICPC Act, 2000. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=176414 |

My first flight from Okomiko to Newyork was very eventful. In fact that day I had to shayo very well and smoke some Igbo. We took off on the Marihauna departure lounge having booked a first class seats and sitting some kparaga served with smoked fish. The flight took off at exactly 3 pm with no hazzles as we were already high so the pilot didn't need to work very hard to keep us afloat, after two hours our plane suddenly stopped mid air as the fuel pomp stopped working. we all came down found some areas "Angels" and gave it a push and it started. We arrived NY on time to be received by the palm wine club delegation already waiting in thier keke napeb. In fact its the best trip I've ever had!!! Fly Marihuana airways!! ![]() |
If you need steady power supply and good internet connection, why spend almost $2000 dallars to fly round the world to TT or Carreabean? You can try Ghana, Benin & Sieral leone. All these places are more in Africa have contant power and good internet and you can get a flight for lass than $200. My two pence advise though! |
Possibly he wants to join the Circus in Kosovo , so a to give the kids chance to see the first black man with a tail ![]() |
Why is our people are constantly loooking for opportunities to enslave themselves again.?Why would anybody in his right mind consider going to ecuador A poor country which Niaja is 10 times better than! May be you want to work in banana plantations like our brothers did 200 years ago. Pple are so much intereted in jetting out of the country to strange places in search of so called greener pastures where there are a lot they can spend their quality time and energy on in naija. Thats why these scammers who don't even own a nigerian passport keep fleecing you people of your money yearly. Use the internet to do your own reserch about any country and find out the opportunities that exist for you as an immigrant before listening to "hear say" stories from scammers! A word is enough for the wise!!! |
man what are you palnning to come and do in the carreabean? I'm currently live here and work here. I'll frankly tell you there is not much here and nothing to huzlle for. The place is drier than Niaja in many respects, ppl travel up here with the hope of makin it Big but these islands are not for that! I'm in TT and there is nothing to write home about here. The Nigerians here are mostly Doctors working in hospitals for betther pay but the rest are just lazing about. If you are not a doctor or being sent by a company here, dont waste your time & money to any of the islands. Abuja looks like London compared to Trinidad which supposedly is the richest island in the carrebean!! I'm sure you and many others reading this will be wondering what I'm still doing here but I'm on a 6 months rotational assigment up here and will be out as soon as i'm done!! Our home is beautiful and full of great opportunities but pple think its always greener out there!!! |

@ global aid. I intend to pay goods from China to Nigeria and read your posts on helpinp people source and send goods to naija . Can you email me so we can discuss further? jikings2002@yahoo.com |
I'm a Petroleum Engr working in the Industry. My background is Chemical Eng first degree and an Msc in Pet Eng. I think is better to have your first degree in another engineering specialty before an Msc in Pet Eng even if you want to work as a Pet Eng. Pet Eng is a bit narrow and with an Msc you can cover all you need to know in one year and the rest comes with exp. Most of my colleagues took the same root as I did ( not necessarity Chem Eng, some EE, maths, Mech or even geology). As per getting a good job, a good degree is a good starting point, most companies require a 2.1 and above and pray to God as well. I hope this helps. Good luck. it pays to work hard!!! |
I forgot to add. They way I did it once was adding on the manifest " used personal items" make the value very small. e.g if ur chair is worth $1000 just make the value $100 or even less. I you need an agent to speak to, I can help you with one. |
Mendomp. If you are carrying a few items, possibly not more than two sets of furniture. The wont sieze it or worry too much. I've friends who have relocated back to Nigeria to start jobs with oil firms and they bought everything including furniture and nobody seized it. I do ship items as well tonaija for sales and do have one or two personal stuff there are on the list and I ususally dont delcare them as there are not ommercial quantity. I would suggest you speak to an agent in naija who can guide you on how to declare your goods aas non-commercial so u can escape the preying eyes of naija customs |
