My problem with this judgement is that how many death convictions have actually been carried out. If the state governor doesn't sign off on those convictions, even after the State Attorney general does, then they cannot carry out that judgement. So many people have been on death row since how many years now. See reverend King. See that Akorede man who stabbed his wife multiple times. They are still in prison.

At my work place, recently I noticed that one of my senior male colleague in his early thirties, not married is always defending, and protecting me even if I am wrong in many cases! I started noticing this for few weeks now and I don't understand his motive and reasons for doing it

When I keep saying it that we Nigerians are the problem of ourselves, we keep blaming government. But we ourselves we have issues. You ended someone's daughter's life prematurely. Honestly if these guys are caught, they need to inflict excruciating torture on them that they will be begging to die sef.

Honestly some Nigerian men are starting to disgust me. Are you this desperate that human lives don't mean shii to you anymore? Because of money that will never last long, you kill people. Why are we like this. Why are we so mentally effed up in this part of the world? So someone's head and body parts will make you rich. Even the so called herbalists doing the rituals are not rich themselves. Seriously anyone caught and convicted of ritual killing should be killed, no cap.. no time wasting. Cuz this menace is getting too much.

I think we love the way we are in Nigeria. By next year, after some Nigerians would have gone behind to collect money, gifts, contracts, cars, they will still vote the same people into power. I've stopped blaming government a long time ago because I realised that the people make up the government. The average Nigerian is greedy, corrupt, desperate. We don't have values anymore. As long as we can satisfy ourselves, then to hell with anyone else. The so called oyinbos we copy, they have morals. They have checks. We copy even the bad things of the oyinbos and take it all in. Oyinbos make iPhone, they are not even crazy about it the way Nigerians are. Some even think having an iPhone is the greatest achievement in life. We have a bleeped up mentality in Nigeria. Until that changes, Nigeria will never change.

Nigerians are the ones doing these to themselves. The day Nigerians stop being greedy and selfish, then that is the day this country will get better. Because you want money, you will kidnap someone's child. Because you want money, you will cut off someone's head. Because you want money, you will do the unthinkable. Nigerians are very wicked people. Many of us. Greed, selfishness. Everyone wants fast cash, everyone wants to drive Benz. We are too desperate

So sad to hear about Big Tyme's death. He was a rap/hip hop head on Rhythm FM. He served that station for a very long time. I remember Onome on the Afternoon Drive. He read the news too. So sad. The likes of Illbliss, Modenine, MI and co know him so well. There is no one he hasn't interviewed on his show. Very jovial, full of life and funny. May his soul rest in peace.

Government should have given three days. Shebi Salah is usually two days. And normally Workers Day is one day. And since workers day falls on a Sunday, they should have added one more day nah.
