Kushites:

If it is okay for white men to fck each other in the butt, with approval from your white Pope, what is your problem with Africans practicing their culture of polygamy?

Are you aware that you would not be here today without polygamy?

If your remote ancestor had married only one wife instead of 4 or 5, you wouldn't be here today.

Because your great, great grandfather would not have been born.

Chew on that.

Oyinbo.

Typical assertion from a typical Nigerian man.
Crime / Re: The Story Of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar: How Kidnappers Killed Her by jimcaddy(m): 1:29am On Jan 15
Kidnapping is the new way to hammer in this country. Almost all the armed robbers have switched to kidnapping because it has become so lucrative. The police have absolutely no answer to solving kidnapping cases unless a big politicians child is involved. If not we won't witness the massive exponential increment in kidnapping cases in the past two years.

Loool uncle it's not by prayer. Prayer won't make you win a football game. Despite all the prayer, did you not draw against a very useless EG team? Train hard and he more intelligent while playing, then you will win.. prayer is good, but it won't solve your problem when you don't work hard.
Education / Re: Indian Lecturer With PhD, 4 Master’s Degrees Hawks Vegetables To Survive by jimcaddy(m): 1:21am On Jan 15
samuelson06:

A big f— to that. Just gambling.

You don't go back to do Masters when you don't have a job. Your career is what supposed to determine the area you should do Masters. But these, people do PG studies ignorantly simply because because they have money or feel that's what they need to get a job.

Once you can determine your career direction, you can do your PG and stay there, then continue to advance to PhD and professional certifications. From there, those advance degrees and certifications will earn you promotion and you keep going. You don't do a PG program blindly.
exactly, I agree with you.. many just do Masters for the sake of it.
Food / Re: See The Yams I Bought For 2,500 In Benue State (pictures) by jimcaddy(m): 1:17am On Jan 15
Benue is called the Food Basket of the Nation for a reason. They plant and harvest a lot of yam over there.

Phones / Re: DATA: Has This Been Happening To You? Or, Is It Only Me? by jimcaddy(m): 12:49am On Jan 13
Just because the NCC as failed to approve their request to hike the cost of data and tariffs, all the mobile network operators have decided to start doing rubbish and frustrating Nigerians. Instead of them to cut down cost by laying off people whose jobs are not necessary, they would rather frustrate Nigerians by delivering poor services.

The man's own daughter was in the documentary and confirmed that her father commited molestation of women in his church
You don't mean it? So what kept her from exposing her father all the time he was alive? You all just believe everything you read or watch. Anyway he is dead, so he cannot defend himself. So all these allegations are baseless.
Religion / Re: My Take On The BBC Documentary On TB Joshua by jimcaddy(m): 12:43am On Jan 13
ResidentSnitch:

Let me tell you that the education you claim to have is a complete waste. Yes, you wasted all those years in school for absolute nothing.
You think that BBC would risk being sued for billions of naira just for concocting lies against TB Joshua?
Go and ask a refund of your school fees.
so because it's "BBC", then it means that they are saying the truth right? How smart of you to think that, with the level of education you claim to have. Even the whites don't believe their media, yet you, a black woman believes them. It shows how enslaved you are in your thinking.
Politics / Re: Give Betta Edu A Second Chance — Femi Pedro by jimcaddy(m): 2:25am On Jan 11
Honestly I really feel for Dr Betta. I don't know how she got herself entangled in all of this mess. And Nigerians only judge with one side. The EFCC has not even concluded investigation, yet Nigerians have started calling her unprintable names.
Religion / Re: My Take On The BBC Documentary On TB Joshua by jimcaddy(m): 2:22am On Jan 11
U believe that the late Pastor did all that he was accused of without any tangible proof right. These are baseless unsubstantiated allegations. Why did this interview not come out shortly after his death? Why now? Yes I'm not a fan of Pastor Joshua but if you want to make allegations as wieghty as these, please back them up with hardcore facts.

my thoughts exactly. It's not a big deal, if it were a well structured organisation, that is the job of the HR manager. But you see this so called one man business owners in this country ehn. I don't just understand them.
Politics / Re: One Way: Soldiers Rant, Fault Arrest Of Errant Colleague by jimcaddy(m): 12:28am On Jan 09
Honestly can the top brass in the Nigeria Army call these soldiers yarning dust to order? You broke the law, do you think that you're above the law? In America you will be arrested or reported to the top hierarchy of the Military if you break the law, and you shall be appropriately dealt with. So because we are not in the north, it's fine to break the rules and go scot-free right? Like what are they even saying that they think they are making sense.

Sports / Re: AFCON: What Nigerians Are Saying As Super Eagles Lose 2-0 To Guinea In Friendly by jimcaddy(m): 12:03am On Jan 09
The NFF knows the truth but they have decided to turn a blind eye to it. This Presario coach is not good. But there is no money to sack him. So the NFF will rather keep him till his contract expires at the expense of the Super Eagles being disgraced even by teams who are not our mates in any way. You will see how we will so fumble in this AFCON ehn. If we comot for group stage, make we thank God.

Why Irukera? That man has achieved so much and repositioned the much maligned FCCPC. On what basis is the President relieving him of his appointment? Yes the President has the liberty to sack any DG, but why Irukera?
Politics / Re: A VERY VERY Wrong Time To Be An Adult In Nigeria by jimcaddy(m): 10:25pm On Jan 07
I feel your pain, it's so tough in Nigeria. Like how Nigerians are resilient in the face of multiple problems needs to be researched as a Thesis. But how long can we be stretched that we won't break? How long can we endure. Now salary earners don't look like they are not even earning anything because of the extremely high inflation in the country. Like Nigeria's problems are multifaceted and conjoined. The should first increase minimum wage to like 100k.
Crime / Re: We Paid Our Kidnappers ₦91M — Abuja Music Band Leader Recounts Ordeal by jimcaddy(m): 10:17pm On Jan 07
Kidnapping now seems to be a booming business in Nigeria these days, and the Police have absolutely no answer to it. When it's not. Like we are in Mexico or Columbia where they run kidnapping rings.. imagine free N91m for doing just nothing other than holding someone against their will. It won't stop because no one is doing anything about it. Once the kidnap you, you pay random and you're released. The cycle goes on and on.

How is the government trying to increase wages so as to cushion this effect. No one seems to be talking about that. Telcos are just thieves. In saner climes, data is so cheap, but in Nigeria data is like gold. I don't understand anymore o

Nigeria will never be there. The so called giants of Africa don't even get rated even within the African community. We are that corrupt, we are that hopeless, we are just terrible people. No one wants to associate with us. We simply refuse to do what's right. Always trying to cut corners. We don't know the damage we have done to this country. Only Nollywood and the music industry is what is still giving Nigeria name in the world scene. Every other facet of life, we are useless. We need to wake up. Japa all you want, it won't make Nigeria better.
Politics / Re: Tajudeen Abbas: Gbajabiamila’s Record In National Assembly Can’t Be Matched by jimcaddy(m): 11:09pm On Jan 04
If there is one man who truly cares about the plight of the people, it is Femi Gbajabiamila. You just need to come to Surulere to know what he has done. Those who live outside of Lagos will not understand. This man has done so much for his constituency. I wish all our politicians can follow suit, but corruption, greed will never allow them to. Femi is really a man of the people. Lets forget about APC or no APC, dude has really done a lot. His impact has been felt, which is a rarity in this Nigeria of today where everyone is slimy, greedy, selfish, corrupt. See I keep saying it, if this country is going to be good, change must come from within. Nigerians need to change their mentality for that to happen.

Career / Re: Is 400k Job In Nigeria Worth Staying Or Should I Japa? by jimcaddy(m): 1:34am On Jan 04
Exactly. Na social media dey give everyone this hoax belief that once you Japa, your life don automatically better. It's never like that oh. Me Ive said it that I won't borrow money to japa. It won't happen. Abroad wey be say you be foreigner, especially if you don't have your papers, you go struggle ehn. The only good thing you will enjoy is infrastructure, but you go work and work and work tire. Bills will choke you ehn. You will think that money you are earning is big money cuz if you convert am to Naira, ee go big. But over there, that money is chicken change. Chances of you getting a more paying job is limited too, unless you are really good at what you do, or you have money to go back to school to take some courses again. How long will all of that take? Japa is ñot always the best option, but Nigerians won't listen.
sleek214:
Ok. I find it a little funny and annoying when I hear people say they earn over 400k as monthly salary and still see Japa as an option to earn more. My dear, first things first, 400k is enough to live a comfortable life here in Nigeria. I earn below 400k but I've been to two European countries on vacation. Most Nigerians that earned above 400k here in Nigeria and left their jobs for the Japa syndrome are regretting it over there, they wish they could turn back the hands of time. If you travel out on vacation to see them, what they do and how they live, you'd appreciate God for giving you a good job here in Nigeria. Forget what people abroad post or show on social media, it's a hoax. Most people that will come on your thread to advise you to Japa don't even earn up to 60k monthly.

and trust me, that's all you will be doing almost all the days of your stay there. Taxes will wound you ehn, bills will choke you. Yet you will still have family and friends who will still ask you for money from Nigeria. See ehn I don't know how to advice people especially when it comes to japa. Do whatever you feel is right, and face the consequences, whether good or bad. To me, Uk is a bad idea. I'd rather go to another country than the UK.
Travel / Re: Should I Keep My Federal Job Or Travel to the U.K by jimcaddy(m): 1:18am On Jan 04
This UK japa trend that almost all Nigerian are embarking upon will soon backfire. What happened to other countries in the world? Why UK? UK be like glorified Nigeria. I don't like UK for anything. Seeing UK just feels like I'm in Nigeria.
