All the countries that have closed their borders are still trading. They have ways around it. America imports 80% of her pharmaceutical ingredients mainly from China and other countries like india. How will they make drugs when they close borders? Do you think people would not import cars in Nigeria. Is it not countries that are buying oil from Opec countries. Trade will not stop but measure will be put in place to prevent spreading the virus. Trade must go on or the world would crash.

The amount NERC owes you is not hidden, every month you calculate your invoice and send to them for payment. This is done by the Performance department which sometimes is a stand alone dept or under Operations dept. however, Nerc will say the discos are not remitting so they cannot pay you now and the bills pile up. This is why many power plants owners are either selling or not operating at full capacity. No foreign investor owns a power plant in Nigeria (most investors borrowed money to buy the plants from the government and will pay back through ops) but due to inadequate gas and the disco playing funny games, some investors are looking to sell or add additional capital through Private investors etc. The IPP are owned by Nigerians while the NIPPs are owned by the govt through NDPHC (niger delta power holding company). You can just go through the PPA (power purchase agreement) to understand some of these things

Lol. Are you kidding me? I worked in Olorunsogo for 5 years. The plants were BOT and were owned by the Nigerian government which he bought from them. The other is Omotosho and i remember the former minister of power (agagu) helped him get it. Before i left Olorunsogo, the government was owing him 35bn for power generated (NERC). This was 2 years ago.You think its beans?
