Nigeria is coping the American presidential system of government, but they are not doing like the Americans. In the USA, the governors of these states will appoint senators to represent the constitucies inoder to complete their tenures. The elections will only be conducted at the supposed expiration of the tenures of the resigned senators. Nigeria could copy the American model so that it will save INEC time, money and other material resources that would have been used in conducting by-election. The people of these constitucies are being denied representation in the senate.

Despite the number of universities in Oyo State, do you know how many students pass their UTME and couldn't gain admission every year?

We need more universities though (heavily funded with heavy funding for the existing ones). The problem is, does our economy provide enough jobs for the average Nigerian graduate?

University education is not compulsory and it's also not meant for everybody. I would rather suggest governments to establish more technical schools rather than universities that are theoretical in nature.

The government should have funded the existing universities to a world class status, rather than establishing new ones. This is a misplaced priority!

Obi never said Anambra past governors do not receive pension. What Obi said is he rejects all the things the state government gives outgoing governors. Things like pension, house and land. Obi is the only ex governor that has rejected those things in Nigeria.

Your logic is so childish and weak. Many States adopted the bill before and after 2009. This means it is a normal practice in every State in Nigeria. Obi signed it because it is the normal thing in Nigeria. He then rejected the entitlement to show he is personally against the bill. Obi signed the bill because the stake holders and the State house of assembly wanted it. Only a tyrant will refuse to sign the bill.

A governor is not the one who proposes a bill in a State. A governor only signs a bill when majority in the State house of assembly approves the bill. A selfish governor can bribe some house of assembly members to propose a bill that will in turn serve the governor's personal interest. But in this case, Obi rejected those things. Had it been he accepted those entitlements, it will be believed he lured the house into passing the bill.

This is very true. The River state house of Assembly passed a law to recognize Celestine Omehia as a former governor of the state. When he fell out with Governor Nyeson Wike, it also took the sames house of Assembly to passed a law that de-recognize him as a former governor.
