In the seriousness of things, I think there's a need for a small size IFV especially to support infantry in the DRC and Mozambique. In both the DRC and Moza, our infantry has to be supported by Tanzania's mechanised unitss.
also which Tazo units support us?

Your talk says so.. you mean to say South Africa can only be overtaken by other African countries because other African countries have high population growth... which is a lie South Africa will be overtaken because your economy is stagnanting as simple as that
for the most part yes........I will concede that Zuma as plundered our economy however under normal circumstances yes, the bolded is true....and since the ANC very very likely won't be the ruling party in 2 years expect SAs economy to recover back to 5-8% growth by 2030

So, does it mean that the mortality rate in SA is growing at a higher rate than the birth rate?
Are your people dying of HIV/AIDs or due to a high crime rate?
Cos my bro, you're are not thinking at all. Any normal population should trend at 1% - 2.5% unless women in your country are barren or infertile.
At this point, if you're using macro trend, then you should be having your answer. We did our census (door-to-door count) in 2019, and the population was 47m. Use macro trend growth rate while removing 7m each year. Also, don't forget the growth rate per year, cos as the year advances, the pp growth rate reduces. Do the maths then compare it with your country.
Im not a specialist on growth rate, what I do know is, it is just over 1% and Kenya is basically twice that.

Because without population growth one would not have to spend on infrastructure!! pretty simple logic my bru

Yes or No?
It doesn't matter, they don't use Jakes/ Africaken's twitter or this thread as sources for their articles.

No lt's a simple question you have refused to answer if you base everything on population growth why has Tanzania not overtaken you
When did I base everything on population growth? I said it's the main driver....and Tanzania like Kenya WILL overtake SA in the very distant future.

infrastructure development it's main driver of Kenya's economic growth
Population Growth is.....because of your population growth you should be spending 20% of GDP on infrastructure....currently you are on 9% meaning a 11% deficit......

We're not in 2000 where family planning was a none issue in Kenya. Kenya's population growth rate has been showing a downward trajectory since 2015! Next year, it will be even lower than the current one

So, we will never catch up with SA, in terms pf population.

The rest are usual emotional gibberish from a shackman cool
My bru??

Kenya population 2050 - 90 million
SA Population 2050 - 63 million

In fact I think you might have already caught us...just have to check

Our road network is not updated it has been 750 000 for the past 6-9 years

20yrs for the current south Africa - cos it's not growing.
30yrs to overtake.

Read to understand.
You do know SA is on the verge of a regime change right? SA stocks are looking better than they ever have, Property market is booming, SA Government bonds are an excellent investment.....Rating agencies have now changed SAs outlook from stable to positive, in about 2 years we will be back to investment grade!!

Kenya is light yrs ahead of IPPs Usage experience. Eskom debt will still haunt you and the current system - and your govnt will have to sweat before it suddenly adopts it. By then - 5yrs from now, Kenya will be enjoying universal coverage - @100% if not 99%... Debt-free.
Probably true, that doesn't change the fact that in a year or 2 SA will be without load shedding entirely
PoliticsRe: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by jl115: 6:11pm On May 26, 2022

That's what I'm talking about, once we hit that level, add 10yrs to merge the curve.

It will be easier by then to overtake you - going by your slow growth rate in almost all spheres of development.
We have established that you ain't overtaking SA in terms of economy, infrastructure, technology, medicine, education any time in our life time.....maybe GDP by around 2090 but not anything else.

Once Kenya has reached Joburg then we can discuss again....Maybe Kenya will reach Joburg in about 15-20 years and Gauteng in about 25-35 years wink

"defenceweb depends on open sources for more than 70% of their news stories, including press releases from the various arms of the Nigerian military, this thread on Nairaland, Jakeporeshenko on Twitter, Africaken on Twitter and the likes."

Economy - give Kenya 10yrs.
Infrastructure - give Kenya 20yrs, as I said.
Airports - give Kenya 5yrs... Kenya is now becoming a tourist hub, and that will def drive the urge of setting up more airports.
Universities... We've changed our system, Watch out for the pace... If we're already ahead of you in international schools, what makes it hard for Kenya not to catch up with your unis?
Health sectors: give us 10yrs. We're currently building special cancer units in Africa. The kidney center is now done, we'll not have to travel abroad to seek some special treatment. Soon, we'll have the best medical infrastructure.
Tech -- don't ask. We're 3yrs behind you.
Electricity access --- with the current load shedding in SA, it just points out the reality on the ground. Maybe in 5yrs, we will have I've passed you. I believe by then, we'll have universal electricity coverage.
In rail infrastructure, maybe we need 15yrs - an electric rail system is in the plan. Railway city will pioneer all the rail projects in the country, and it's breaking ground in July. SGR stations and viaducts are something else, I don't know if SA can stand.
Road infrastructure: give Kenya 20yrs -
Road infrastructure is all over the place. We just need a policy that will allow residents to build roads to their doorsteps - this will reduce 20yrs to 10.
Sports center: that is something that can only take 4yrs if we fully embark on it.
Nairobi vs Joburg - give it 10yrs Max, to catch up. We just need to focus on proper residential housing and horizontal infrastructure..
Skyscrapers: Nairobi is overtaking South Africa as a whole in 2030. Mark this tweet.
- Where is Kenya in 2050?

- Kenya has a 11% infrastructure spending gap vs 0.6% for SA...... but you catching us in 20 years?? i

- So in 5 years Kenya will be 19th in terms of Airports in the world?

- University rankings - 8 of the top 10 universities in Africa are SAn....the other two are Egyptian.....Kenya's highest ranking university is 12th....next best is 52nd - also don't know what you mean by leading us in terms of international schools?

- First heart transplant, first penis transplant, cured deafness, leading world authority on heart disease, invented the CAT scan............yet you claim you are only a few years away from having the best medical infrastructure?

- Technology? 2021 innovation index ranking 34th SA vs Kenya 95th.....but you are only 3 years away you say?

- Government has approved IPPs meaning we don't have to relay on Eskom anymore and we will pay cheaper for electricity WHICH already is significantly cheaper than electricity in Kenya

- So you saying Kenya will have the 12th longest rail network in 15 years?

- So you saying Kenya will have the 10th longest Road network in 20 years?

- South Africa 40 000 capacity stadiums - 16 ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Kenya 1......but ou catching in 4 years?

- Skyscrapers SA 60+.....Kenya 18
