Stormtrooper11: The CAS said he wanted us to purchase more UCAVs to bolster our inventory. We aren't SA that is comfortable with sticking to one inoperable UAV since the early 2000s.
A CH 3A crashed. We always wanted the Yahbon flash and we purchased it. If the CH-3A were that bad for us, why did we get extras last year? We got made in Nigerian UAVs. At the Airforce Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, we have produced alot of Tsaigumi and we're still testing the Ichoku combat UAV. I know you will say that our locally built combat drone is takin too long to be fully operational but I remember when we started building APCs, when you used to diss Henry240, and Agaugust. You claimed that the project ain't going anywhere but look at us today
Remembered how you talked ill on the recent purchase of the M-346FA. Claiming that we got no deals with the Italians but look at us today.
You've always been clouded with insecurity and hate for the Nigerian people. We're all here to appreciate each other militaries but you still have the mentality of the Nairaland Civil War, where we argued endlessly on who had the strongest military in Africa.
Stop living in the past. Everyone has moved on but you haven't lol. That's so lame. I've only praised your mrap projects and I've not even talked about your UAV projects.. Ever... Stop making up fantasies and claiming I said things I never did. Also it's your own CAS that said they have preformed sub optimally and need to be replaced... Don't shoot the messenger Also this isn't the strongest military thread, we've all agreed that what was said on that thread was all in jest!! FYI I said Leonardo has not confirmed the m346 purchase.... That's what I said, stop crying and simply learn to read |

Toju200: No need to argue much bro We have First had 5 CH-3A one crashed now four We secretly acquired The Yahbon drone number is unknown We do have the Tsaigumi Active in Kaduna number to is unknown We've acquired another 2 CH-3A, 4 CH-4, 2 Wingloongs, minimum 2 Aerosonde drones from the US unknown number of Turkish UCAV so clearly we has more drones where Combat or non combat than SA our contenders are Egypt and Algeria. EOD!!! Let's move on How could you possibly say you have more drones than SA? More armed drones possibly yes but more drones.... Not a chance, SAs Dron budget alone is $8 million a year. |

Aren't you just a clown?
Yahbon flash Drones minimum 3 units. so why did your own CAS say they want to replace the Ch3 with flash 20s? |

4-6 okay. We don't even know if it armed. I mean, Defence Intel is the most likely user. Besides, how is 4-6 larger than the fleet we have in Nigeria eh? I wouldn't have said what I've said if there wasn't a citation to back it up |

Post the evidence to support your claims. So what are these:

You can't prove your UCAVs. Apparently you have none. You can't prove your number of UAVs.
low budget comedy here did I not post a defence Web link confirming the purchase of the Seeker 400? |

Lurker4Long: I'm not sure that the Seeker 400 is modular like that. It might be, it might not. it is... It literally one of its selling points.. "This self-contained system with operational spares offers: a large payload carrying capability; high-definition video imagery; real-time data acquisition and transmission to remote receivers; autonomous takeoff and landing capability; external wing hard points for carriage of external fuel tanks or weapons; multiple sensor payloads; manual and autonomous capability (flight control and payload control); brake-assisted ground operation; separate or combined shelter configurations for the Mission Control Unit (MCU) and Tracking and Communications Unit (TCU); and integration with customer-preferred payloads (such as Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)" |

Lurker4Long: Link to what? That our drones are unarmed? Gen Shoke, past CSANDF was asked in Parliament about armed drones and he specifically replied the SANDF has determined it has no need for armed drones at this stage. His answers are here: www.pmg.org.za I understand that they might not have purchased the impi missiles.... However that doesn't mean they purchased another variant of the Seeker 400....its like saying The Gripen isn't bvr capable because saaf doesn't have BVRs.... |

but the SANDF is known to fly DJI Phantoms and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-developed Indiza hand-launched fixed wing UAVs OK and? So you think this sentence means the SANDF only flies these to drones?? Are you ret@rded bru? |

The SANDF is only know to fly cheap Chinese DJI drones and hand launched Indiza drones. Except you just posted a link saying we bought the Seeker 400 |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by jl115: 7:09pm On Apr 15, 2022 |
Lurker4Long: There are 2 versions of the Seeker 400. The unarmed version which we ordered, and the Seeker 400 Syper, armed with 4 Impi-s.
As Kabe's post was about UCAV, that is, armed, no SANDF doesn't have. link? |

It has not been accepted into service as at 2019, and giving the liquidation of Denel, there's no evidence that your military accepted the aircraft into service. operational testing.... Just like how the rooivalk only officially entered service in 2011 but has been with 16 sqd since the late 90s |
