adekolaelect:And they're telling you that the money was a donation and not intended for hosting rights. The donation was made by a democratically elected government of Rivers state led by Fubara. So, which refund are they talking about again ![]() |
If they promise to convert me to officer cadre immediately and to the rank of at least a Captain, I might think about joining. |
No be only refund. |
AllBlack:Because your maid is not a human? Though I don't subscribe to the idea of a man having affairs with his maid--just like his other workers, your post made it seem like those maids are not humans with emotions simply because they are working for you. That simply shows your level of mental development. In other words, if she's a sexy accountant working in your company, you wont have a problem cheating on your wife with her? |
We are not seeing the effects of the $200 million investments in our public hospitals yet. Infrastructures are still poor with obsolete equipment and most of the hospitals are grossly understaffed! |
lordprogress:You are clearly one of the ejiots who depended on exam malpractices to pass through school. That is why you came out of school with zero education thus constituting a nuisance and a security threat to the society. Ewu |
Sometimes I wonder why the brain would create images of random people you have never met in your entire life during dreams and have you interact with them. Is it really the brain just creating such people or we interact with spiritual beings while scientists, unable to explain the dream phenomenon, just conclude our brains create images of people in our dreams?; My dreams have made me believe in the existence of the spiritual world! |
drstranged:When we capture the minds of our young ones and make them shun exam malpractices, they'll grow with the consciousness that malpractices of all kinds is wrong and should be avoided, including electoral malpractices. So, the bill could end up killing two birds with a stone. |
That man that said the bill shouldn't catch the attention of the lawmakers is not wise at all. He forgot that exam malpractices can lead to many other crimes, including terrorism. Kudos to the lawmakers for introduction of this bill. It's a welcome development. |
bukatyne:How are they 'delulu'? What's the little girl's offence? Did she ask to be born out of wedlock No! The woman could have just faced her husband and not the poor girl! Anyway, I later saw another video where the woman said she had accepted the girl as her daughter probably due to the backlashes that followed her initial reaction. It is now left for the man to do everything possible to appease the woman and ensure he earns her total forgiveness. That I think is one way to ensure lasting peace in the house. |
We dash the slots to our southwest brothers! How generous we are! |
Northernblood8:Don't mind them! I remember when I finished my first degree, I applied for Short service (SSC) in the army but wasn't even invited to the selection board. They'll pack mostly Hausa people and later want people to believe Igbos are not applying! Yeye people |
confusedlady: |
confusedlady:There's nothing in that letter suggestive of any intentions to subjugate the southwest. Forming a military government in Legos was intended to help Victor Banjo stabilize and not get captured by Nigerian government. I don't know why you yorubas always suspect Igbos all the time even when we're extending hands of fellowship to you. |
Bittersweetnig:Even though I'll personally never allow myself to be fed or sheltered by my wife, I think your position that the 50% being fed by their wives are not real men is not true because it doesn't reflect the current reality of financial empowerment of men vs women. Since the day women started demanding and getting equal financial opportunities as men as against their natural and God-ordained place in the kitchen and as nurturers of offspring, they changed the provider-nurturer arrangement of the early men where men provided and women nurtured. Any woman that wants to stick to the old order must be ready to go back to the kitchen and to completely be submissive to her husband. She must never challenge the man's decisions in anything and should also be ready to accommodate the man's other wives and concubines. But our modern women want to cherry pick the aspect that suits their selfish desires, hence they want a provider-man without being ready to be co-wives to the man's other women nor to be totally submissive to him. As things are now, I'll never look down on nor mock any man who's depending on his wife for survival (though it can NEVER be me) because I understand how women empowerment and gender equality has changed the dynamics of financial powers between the two genders. |
I support the creation of Anioma state. I've been a proponent of Anioma state on this forum for long. Thank God that a visionary leader like Ned Nwoko has taken up the fight |
Hemanwel:You dey mind am? People like him sound sanctimonious when criticizing others yet they're worse than the devil. |
Ladies equally lead men on and exploit them financially only to dump them for other men after years of dating. But you Captains-save-a wh0re don't talk about that! All you do is guiltrip men into marrying just any lady on account of having dated for a long time. |
I was heartbroken watching this video. I think the woman should have directed her anger to her husband for keeping such secret, and not asking the poor girl to leave the house. Seeing the small girl kneeling and begging her really broke me! Again, if the husband has been the one footing the family's bills, then the wife ought to calm down and forgive her husband for keeping it a secret since. Unless she's the one paying the family's bills, she doesn't have the right to order the girl out in that manner. The man didn't do well though for lying to his wife about the girl |
You people should stop being ungrateful! Honestly, this letter has opened my eyes as to Ojukwu's intentions for secession from Nigeria. I apologize for all the while I thought his actions were for selfish reasons. He actually planned what many of us currently have in mind for the southern Nigeria, which is to achieve a liberation from the Hausa/Fulani domination. Any honest person from Southern Nigeria would agree that the best thing for southern Nigeria is to separate from the north because of the clear religious and cultural differences between the north and south. I strongly believe that even if we split along South/North line, the south can coexist peacefully because they have a lot of things in common, including the Christian religion and western education. Yorubas and Igbos can exist peacefully in one country because despite all the jabs they throw at each other online, both tribes intermarry and do everything together peacefully offline! That's the benefit of having western education and Christianity in common by the two tribes. So, Ojukwu wanted the best for the south and I wish we southerners could unite and work together to achieve the goal of separating from the north confusedlady: |
doncartel:Buhari was a disaster! |
Welldone to the seadogs! Mental health issues have been so neglected in Nigeria to the point that one begins to question whether those leading us are totally ignorant of the problem or they just don't want to act to ensure that mental healthcare is given as much attention as other aspects of healthcare. The few psychiatric hospitals we have in the country are poorly equipped and understaffed to handle the growing mental health cases in the country! Suicide is on the increase while insecurities and fatalities arising from mental breakdowns are also on the rise. We need to do something fast to improve mental healthcare in Nigeria. |
Mariangeles:People living in different localities have foods they enjoy that's unique to them. You from a different place may not enjoy the food. Those that eat the food enjoy it and hype it. The party jollof you talked about may not be enjoyable to some people while to you, it is. Okay, you are from Imo. |
I blame the indigenous Hausas that gave them so much power. I wish the indigenous Hausas can form their separate political alliance and align with the other two major Nigerian tribes. Before we can talk about deportation of the Fulanis, we need to first of ensure they don't hold political positions in Nigeria anymore and also stop enlisting them in our armed forces. |
His sack is imminent! Corrupt man! |
Mariangeles:You don't know what you're talking about. You haven't eaten correct okpa before. It is better and more stomach -friendly than moimoi. I love the smoothness as well @topic, people have their different palates! The fact that a particular food is not known in your locality doesn't mean those who eat it in their locality don't enjoy it. Just like the example the OP( a non Yoruba) cited, you as an Igboman cannot determine whether amala and ewedu is enjoyable! Only the typical Yoruba person can tell us about the food, not someone from igboland or any other tribe outside Yoruba. Likewise, only someone from Enugu can tell the 'sweetness' of okpa, not this person I quoted that's from Abia state |
Upgrade existing tertiary healthcare facilities by putting the necessary equipment and employing more health workers to attend to the growing number of health-seeking Nigerians. Many of the tertiary hospitals are in dire need of equipment and personnel! Employ more health workers in existing facilities and leave primary healthcare to states and local governments!!! Who is advising this government abeg ![]() |
I believe strongly that those guys were kidnappers who had been terrorizing different communities in the South but as usual, the security agencies quickly bought into their claims of being hunters because in this country there seems to be a grand plan to give special protections and privileges to northern Hausa-Fulanis. These guys go about killing, raping and kidnapping southerners in the guise of cattle herding but it is clear that their actions a point towards a grand plan for political and religious dominance, and this explains the special privileges and protection which security agencies tend to offer them as they go about carrying out their atrocities in various communities in the south and parts of middlebelt. |
pocohantas:Some of us don't want to break up because we pity the girls. In my own case, I subtly pass the message to her by cutting down on my level of commitment. Don't worry very soon I'll get married to the one I desire and live forever in peace with her |
Biqsahm:Even at that, I must not marry her if I no longer find her attractive |
pocohantas:Lolzzz Poco, I think it's better I break her heart now than marry her and still be lusting after other ladies outside. I'll definitely find another morning newspaper that has all the news I want. Longest time o. How about your sugar daddy? |
Biqsahm:How is he an ingrate Must he marry her FYI, the girl is only pretending to be a good girl because op is better off financially than she and her family. If the tables were turned that same girl would dump op like a piece of trash without thinking twice but your likes would guiltrip a guy into marrying a girl that's not his spec. @topic, i totally understand what op is going through. Sexual attraction is an entirely different feeling on its own. You can love someone's personality without being attracted to them. I'm in similar dilemma right now. There's this lady I feel very comfortable around and really love her personality but not attracted to her sexually. On many occasions, I have been alone with her in my room for so long without touching her even when she was making all the seductive moves. The sexual chemistry no just dey there. It can really be frustrating. On the other hand, there are girls I'll be with and I can't take my hands off their bodies. So op, if I were you I'll break up with the lady because I cannot marry out of pity! Sexual connection is very important to me in marriage because I wouldn't want to be looking outside when I get married. I'll like to focus on my wife and drink only from her ocean of pleasure. |
