Copying the western lifestyles is not in the interest of the Igbos in the Nigerian sociopolitical set up. Due to our copying the western lifestyles, we train and empower our women in education and jobs (females in the southeast get more employment their male counterparts after school--i have the proof), yet they'll not marry the unemployed graduate friends whom the system has systematically and sentimentally denied employment while favouring the women. For the above reason, we have increasing number of gainfully employed but unmarried women in Igboland. Whilst we also have increasing number of graduate males who have been frustrated by the biased system favouring the women at the expense of the men. For the above reason, our population keeps declining and may plummet further if unchecked. This is not favourable to us in the Nigerian context. We need to go back to conservatism as is practiced in the northern Nigeria by focusing on empowering our men who would then work and take care of their women and children. We need to have our women back to their primal roles of birthing and nurturing to prevent our kind from extinction. This post is not meant to be an attack on the womenfolk but just an observation. Westernization is not in our interest at all unless we can have our own country! I come in peace |
See what this lady brought upon herself! Simply to obey Senate rules, she was busy making baseless accusations against the Senate president. Substantiate your accusations with good evidence, no! She just wanted us to believe her just because she sheds some crocodile tears! Honestly, if Natasha had come up with tangible evidence of sexual harassments against Akpabio, many of us would have supported her. The likes of Ireti Kingibe and the other female senator would have stood by her if her accusations held any waters. Well, let's see how things would pan out eventually. |
If this had happened in Nigeria, it would have been swept under the carpet. This is why there should be a total separation of duties between physicians and Pharmacists but in Nigeria, you'll see some medical doctors trying to usurp pharmacist's roles even with their limited drug knowledge. Because of the perceived financial gains, some doctors think they are at liberty to give drugs anyhow without considering the ethical implications. That mindset is what must have driven doctor Okafor into this mess. I hope others would learn from this and do the right thing always |
Samantha125:Okay then... good night to you |
Samantha125:Just know that the majority of Nigerian men, especially those of Igbo tribe, know how to treat their wives well. |
Samantha125:So, just this single instance you posted here is enough for you to draw up a conclusion? Have you also checked out all the other Nigerian men who're happily married to their SA women and are treating them like queens ![]() |
You're overloading your system with excess proteins! Your liver and kidneys will suffer eventually! People ask why life expectancy is on decline in Nigeria despite the so called civilization! Op, there you have it! Can you believe that someone who drinks alcohol in moderation but eats right could live longer than one who consumes stuffs like what you have on that table but doesn't drink ![]() |
Who has the time to be pestering a woman these days If I try tell you you no gree na to move on to the next girl. No time |
Says who This is how you fulls force some guys into crime and depression because of some senseless notions and beliefs you hold as norm! Who says buying a car or building your house even at 60 is bad I only pity some unthinking guys who would get depressed for not meeting your useless standards. As for people like myself, I'll gladly do my things at my own pace. I'll buy my cars and build my houses when I have the means! Not at a particular age you ''expect'' me to. |
anonimi:So if a woman gets wet from rape or moans, the encounter should no longer be treated as rape? |
Kudos to our dear governor on this. Please sir, we also beg you to help us build a coordinated pharmaceutical wholesale center in Enugu where pharmaceutical wholesales can be done in a regulated environment as enshrined in the national drug distribution guidelines (NDDGs). We need to close down all unregulated drug markets in the state (eg Ogbete) and introduce a more regulated market in order to ensure quality of pharmaceutical products being used in our hospitals. Well done your Excellency! We are seeing your good works, sir! |
Op, this life was created for our enjoyment but we humans are the ones complicating things for ourselves. You're feeling the way you do because you probably confined yourself to some so called "norms" defined by your fellow men. To enjoy this life, learn to live it on your own terms and avoid trying so hard to "conform" to all the so called "norms". Try to savor every of your time in this material universe because you ain't sure if any other exists outside this. Prioritize making yourself happy whichever way you like provided you ain't breaking your society's civil laws! |
Kudos to the brother for being bold enough to dump the biatch without remorse. Ladies are experts in dumping guys but small breakfast wey you go serve them them go begin swear for themselves! One close to me recently chop her own breakfast and she's expecting me to come play "captain save a wh0re" but unfortunately, I'm not ready to carry anyone's emotional baggage. Ladies! Stop cursing when you get dumped! Your curses won't work especially if you ever dumped a guy in the past! |
I love her honesty |
Nigerians would go to public hospitals and start showing their anger on innocent healthcare workers but when they see the politicians destroying the system, they'll hail and asslick them with the hope of getting one selfish favor or the other! Our hospitals are mostly UNDERSTAFFED thereby overstretching the few staff available and having them stressed out and frustrated most times! Buhari's 8years of purposeless rulership did not employ health workers for greater part of his maladministration coupled with the japa syndrome. The few staff you see in those hospitals are stressed out! Some don't rest due to multiple CALL duties! So, when you go to these hospitals and encounter some health workers showing bitterness about the system, try to understand! You all can protest and demand that government should do the needful in hospitals instead of fighting the few workers available! |
Xannadu:7months, not years! |
Happy birthday to our dear governor! |
okrote4real:To hell with you, Ejiofor or whatever the stupid lawyer calls himself! Pharmaceutical business is not like spare parts business! There are minimum standards required! Anybody cannot just enter market and start selling rubbish and when the regulatory agencies come to enforce laws they start talking trash about "source of livelihood"! You can't be killing people with fake drugs and still talk about your own livelihood! The opinions of some people in the latest NAFDAC enforcement exercises(eg, the Lawyer) is the reason why people should desist from talking on matters they know next to nothing about! Barr Ejiofor is just a lawyer and doesn't understand the gravity of this fake drugs problem and here he's talking about "source of livelihood" of the trader without considering the livelihood of those who must have died or suffered severe losses due to her activities! |
The woman should die and rot in hell! That should be her karma for all the people she killed with fake drugs! I'm Igbo and completely disappointed with fellow Igbos who are supporting these merchants of death called open market drug dealers! There are laws guiding pharmacy businesses in Nigeria but because of their evil motives, these open market dealers would not want to do the right thing by coming out from the unhygienic open market environment to register and do proper pharmaceutical business in environments where regulations can be easily done. If they don't have ulterior motives, let them come out of bridgehead market and get approval from PCN to run wholesale or retail pharmacy the way the law specifies! But no! They want remain in unhygienic environment and would also not want to be regulated so they can be selling fake and unwholesome drugs to Nigerians! Shame on those of you Ignorant Igbos supporting these criminal drug traders! The worst is that some of you claim you're educated but imagine supporting those killing you and your generations! Even if pharmacy is not your course of study in school, why not ask questions before supporting rubbish and making a fool out of yourselves??!! |
koondog:Stop typing rubbish here! It is people like you that make other tribes think all Igbos are in support of these fake drugs merchants! I'm in the system and can tell you better that these guys in open drug markets have destroyed our healthcare system and are major contributors to our low life expectancy in this country! To start with, the environment under they operate is totally bad and unsuitable for storage of drugs! Open drug markets system was an error made by past policy makers that needs to be corrected NOW. It should never have been allowed ab initio if people thought things out properly. Drugs are not like other articles of trade that could be stored and handled anyhow. Instead, there are laid down standards on drugs storage and handling in order to ensure that drug products retain their qualities all through their shelve lives. The open market system does not allow such standards since most of the traders do not even understand these standards! Therefore, NAFDAC should not just act once and give room for the open markets to start all over again, instead they should close down these markets NOW and introduce the noble ideas of the coordinated wholesale centers as specified in the drugs distribution guidelines (NDDGs). We can't continue to allow greedy fools decimate our people with fake and unwholesome medicines. |
Basicend:Exactly! But she no fit remove Akpabio. Maybe some people are even using her to achieve their political interests |
Chydo63:Akpabio is not guilty of course, or have you any evidence of the alleged sexual harassments ![]() |
All the while Natasha had been contesting political posts via different parties, I thought she's a serious politician with clear agenda for her kogi state people. To think that she even contested the governorship position of her state! Is this the sort of unseriousness with which she wanted to be governor ![]() I think she's better of in the showbiz and entertainment than in politics. Nonsense! |
Well personally, I won't marry a lady who has made a lot of money. Reason is best known to me |
From day-1, I knew that Natasha's accusations hold no water! The woman simply felt bad that Akpabio supported and insisted on her changing her sitting arrangement. It's typical of immature women still basking in the euphoria of their perceived sexual appeal. They expect every man to grant them whatever they desire to have. Failure to do that infuriates them and can lead to accusations of sexual harassments just like in this case. Can Natasha at least provide us a video evidence of her resisting Akpabio during the event in his house wherein he was holding her hand and showing her around his house against her wish? I'm almost certain she can't hence she has no good case against the man. |
Ayoefa:Stop being stvpidsdd! Not everybody from the Igbo tribe supports the werey woman! Also, not everyone supporting her is igbo! Always use your brain when contributing to a public discuss |
PlasmaTV:Submit himself to a probe for what There's nothing to probe there! It is pretty obvious the woman wanted a special treatment from Akpabio and other senators for being beautiful. She thought she had Akpabio in her palms and so was disappointed when Akpabio changed her sitting position based on the Senate rules |
I won't be surprised if it is later discovered that FG awarded contract for renovation of this hostel to some powerful Igbo men who shared the contract money among themselves and left the work undone. |
Evil ladies that readily display their devilish nature when dealing with children or those beneath them in the office. This is why I think it is very wrong referring to women as weaker vessels and giving them special protection on account of that. If women were physically stronger than men ehn, domestic violence against men would have been so uncontrollable! Them for dey beat their men gbas gbos no be small |
onuman:It's not true! Both genders may have that in common. Your opinion is why many men would rather ruin their lives with substance use or take to alcohol in a bid to shield the crying emotions. |
papyjaypaul:Yeah, i agree with you that they should have done some damage control by not giving out everything to the public. |
papyjaypaul:The earlier report that the man was killed by kidnappers in the heart of Abuja was an indictment of the police. I believe that was why they had to go to this extent in refuting the claim. |
