Check the faculty board members, their official email is there on the school site with research they have done, you should email the one that aligns with your area of interest

The duration of a program does not affect the VO decision if you meet the requirement.
samefiok:

Omo hopefully my process is successful before the heavy infection of the current PGWP policy set in, My second question is just Hopin IRCC Reduced scrutinizing my Application a little due to my 1year, so the main question off that is ,Does 1year Study duration help reduce rejection rate
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 4:39pm On Feb 22
So i thought till different speculation about some institution, just waiting for IRCC to update their DLI list

Humber college is a public post-secondary institution and they don't run private-public model. They only have 3 campuses which is IGS, North and Lakeshore campuses. Humber college do not affected by pgwp new policy.

Good morning, if your application has stayed that long then you have gotten a decision long ago, and the agent is not sincere. Find a way to talk with him to tell you the outcome of the application. Am sure he created a new portal.

Most universities don't need IELTS or other forms of English proficiency exams. Apply to school first one step at a time.

Proof of your earnings and trading accounts since you don't have physical employment. You can share your trading accounts, use other things as home ties because trading can be done remotely

From the Visa officer's remark, it is obvious your application lacks documentation to back your financial status, a full detail of the documents submitted in the first application will be required before reapplying so that one can guide you properly on the right documents.

my family gcn-note is out,i didn't want to used agent again i want to reapply myself. someone should pls assist me on the additional document need for this refusal reason.

Not it doesn't affect those who already got their approval or who have already submitted their application i.e awaiting approval

The new SOWP policy will likely affect only those applying to Colleges, not MSc. They can join you.
kamaladejoke:

Please your answer to 3/4 does that means you can’t travel again with your spouse and what visa can your spouse come with. Because I am applying for msc and I plan to go with my husband and my little less than a year baby. So they can’t travel with me. Is that what you mean

Okay, I have responded to both.
CarpricornPratt:

Hi @JMG12 please I sent you a message here and on Instagram. Please do you think I should add some more money to my POF and send a webform with the new update.. I submitted my study permit application Dec 23 and did biometrics Jan 5. Then the exchange rate was about 650, now the exchange rate has doubled.. I submitted $53,000 ( I am going alone, I am not married , 18k for tuition and 24k for living expenses, as my program is 14months , leaving me with $10k extra to spare) but now with this volatile exchange rate my POF has depreciated in value to $32k (so technically does not cover my living expenses and tuition anymore) . My application is 8weeks now, and the only thing showing is Biometrics and Background check -IN PROGRESS, Eligibility and Medical says -NOT STARTED.. I am really worried, do I put more cash in my account and send a webform with the new statement balance?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 9:43am On Feb 17
Good morning to you
1. You can only do that if you contact a supervisor who is willing to work with you, but getting their attention is not easy you can try your luck. if not you are not qualified to apply for an MSc as you do not meet the requirements based on your class of graduation. so kindly apply to College
2. Yes, you are allowed to work 20hrs/week
3 & 4. Yes, but the rules have changed still waiting for the final decision if a spouse can join on a work permit or visiting, but your kids can accompany you on a study permit and visiting depend on their age

Hope this answers your query!
Allschoolsinfo:
Please I need answers to these questions:

1. I'm a Chemistry Education graduate with 2.2 (3.26/5.00), do I stand a chance of being admitted for masters anywhere in Canada?

2. Are Post graduates students allowed to work in Canada?

3. Are post graduate students allowed to come with spouse/family/dependant?

4. Are the dependants allowed to work?

5. If yes to question 1, please can you suggest a/some universities.

Thank you and God bless you as you do.

You can't apply if you fall in the category of those who will need an attestation letter, you should contact the school and defer your admission to Sept because you won't be able to meet up.

Upon reviewing the reasons for refusal outlined in the GCMS note, It's clear that the Visa Officer has identified a specific deficiency in the financial documentation submitted with your application. In response to this feedback, addressing the concerns raised and providing additional evidence to support the funds required for your study in Canada is essential.
What to do
1. Review the requirements by making sure you understand the specific financial requirements for a study visa in Canada. This typically includes tuition fees, living expenses, and other costs.
2. Gather additional documentation by collecting all relevant financial documents, such as bank statements, proof of income, and any other evidence demonstrating your ability to cover the costs of your temporary stay in Canada.
3. Provide clear evidence to ensure that the financial documents you provide are clear, accurate, and easy to understand. Highlight any significant deposits or sources of income that may not have been evident in the initial submission.

Hope this helps!

Have you been approved and gotten your stamped passport? Using those changes comes when your study visa has been issued and counterfoil. So I don't think you should be worried about background checking. Keep sending webform they will respond just be calm.
Bunki3:
Guys I don’t understand my application is stuck on processing background check. 10 weeks and it’s not changing after series of web forms. Is it normal?

Hi @JMG12,
I'm a bit lost in the process of applying for a visit visa for a minor.
It appears the portal needs me to apply for a visa (for myself) + my baby. Making 2 visit visa applications, but I already have a study visa.

Can you advise, and can I send you an email?

Thanks

Good morning to you, commercial bank is acceptable but not MFB. you might want to talk with your sponsor to move the cash to commercial bank.

Good morning house,

I please need more clarity on this. I want to use my commercial bank account and a sponsor's account which is a microfinance bank account for my proof of funds. Is this acceptable to IRCC?

Great choice, you might forget about schooling once the cash starts flowing in.

Actually I was aspiring to start doing a move a PR to Canada...

I am a skilled certified auto technician not road side mechanic oh..

I mean I fix only luxury cars.. like diagnosis, computerized scanning, Air conditions, wheel alignment and balancing, key and ecu programming, etc about cars except body work and upholstery...

I just want too ask any one here that have been there what are my chances of surviving there. And as times goes on would love too change career path too business and schooling over there..

Any advice for me pls

The account would have been better but since you don't have an account to show for that, you should show a Payslip and explain the medium of receiving salary this can also be an attestation letter from your employer.
Holywizard:
is the momentary evidence not the one that should be shown on my statement of account?
