1. Lumpsum is dependent on the account if, in the past 6 months, there is no record of your account having such a deposit and the closing bal. is not up to that amount 600k might be considered as a lumpsum to that account. Despite your Dad acting as a sponsor it is important to include your employment documents form your professional home ties. As for you brother, you can state it or leave it. Note if your dad used the same acct to sponsor your brother you should declare it, i have seen a case where an applicant was refused based on that although it was in USA. And state every previous visa refusals. Marcgrace: Hello! Happy Sunday @ Everyone.
What amount is considered a lump sum from ₦600,000 naira ? My dad is my sponsor, but do I still need to include my employment contract, employment letter, and study leave letter from my Employer? I have a brother currently studying in Canada. Should I mention this in my SOP? Should I also mention that I have previously been denied a student permit? |

In the case of the form, you should choose yes, while for the POF your tuition fee and other members of the family should be considered to determine the amount you will need since you will be submitting for other members of your family Kenny4real68: Hello House!!!!!
I am applying for STUDY PERMIT and visitor for my WIFE and 3 KIDS. I want them to move to Canada with me this September but I want to explain in my sop to make it look like they need the Vistor visa to visit me while in school during their holidays and my graduation.
I don’t want to mention we are travelling together in my sop with the hope that my 9, 6 and 4 years old kids will convert to study.
My question is , should I tick yes or no in the family form where they ask ( wil accompany you to canada YES or NO) and hope this idea is good. I don’t know how strong my POF is, I have only paid for my first semester tuition of 10,000 CAD and I have 63 million naira left in my Acc
Please your input will be highly appreciated |

1. Get a lawyer to assist you with the gift deed it is the same way you did the property documents. 2. You can attach the survey plan, if applicable febishola20: Good evening every one, quick questions please
1. Can a gift of deed be done for a property, if yes how can I go about it and also how else can I prove transfer of ownership of a property? 2. Is land sale agreement enough or I have to accompany it with survey documents as well? |

The allowable file is 2MB, so you need to compress your combined documents to 1.9, or 2 MB any size above 2 MB will not be accepted. So you combine multiple documents into a single document. Nbkay23: But how can I upload multiple documents together pls |

If you can get MBS it will be better, it reduce the size of your documents and also make them more legit because they come directly from the bank to the embassy. They likely don't verify it. Please I need urgent response to this.
A friend will be going to CA by September and he has not apply for study permit.
He expect to sell landed property and use the fund as POF. How long should money remain in his account before it can be accepted? The money will come in by June and he will apply by June. Is this good? Though he has the evidence of the sale of the land (Deed of agreement). Thank you. |

Yes, this implies that the total number of years for your program should be summed up for the tuition fee space, you do the same for living expenses (room, and board). Example: if your tuition fee is 17k per year; 17k + 17k = 34k, while room and board is 42k. This is the normal way to calculate POF. vickyehi: If tuition is 17k yearly, I believe POF is 17+21k.
Does this new portal suggest 34k+ 42k proof of funds to be shown😳😳😳😳😳😳? |

You have had most of the documents covered 1. All documents to show the property were willed to him as well as new transfer documents. Abimbola222: Hi gurus, please I need insight into 3 things.
1) My mother-in-law willed 2 houses to my husband (which I and my husband plan to use as part of our home ties). Apart from the official document from the lawyer that shows it has been willed to him, what other documents do we need to show to back it up?
2) Apart from the 2houses, my mother-in-law sold a house early last year but we got our lawyer to make documents to make it look like the house was willed to the both of us as a wedding gift and we sold it 7months ago (we plan to explain in our SOP that the money was invested in the organization we did our POF and that's the source of our POF) . Apart from document that shows the house was willed to both of us and the document that shows it was sold, what other documents do we need to back it up?
3) we did POF of 35m for living expenses with the narration "investment payout"... we are getting the investment certificate and reference letter, what other documents do we need to back it up ? |

If your uncle can show a further commitment to pay the first year tuition fee, then submit all necessary documents to proof is financial capability, more importantly there should some funds in your account, so your uncle acting as a co-sponsor. talkportal: Please bosses, I need your assistance and guidance on the matter below: 👇🏾
Hi I got admitted to University 1 program of University of Manitoba. And I have paid and received my pal.
But I am having dilemma around getting POF, I am aware I'd be needing around that 40m. What are the options, you think I can get convincing documents to establish POF.
Also an uncle who is a citizen of US and earns over 100k usd was ready to stand as sponsor for me, although he doesn't have the 40m in his account, but he'd prepare a letter of sponsorship explaining that he is committed to sponsor me through his earnings and his 410k retirement benefits of over 40k use and he will provide those legal documents and demonstrate he has been supporting me.
Do you people think that can work or what is the alternative please? Thanks |

I'm sorry to hear about your refusal. Dealing with such issues can be quite frustrating. If you'd like, I will go through the details of your refusal letter to better understand the reasons and explore potential steps to address them. 1. Proof of fund: The visa officer must be persuaded that the cash you possess is readily available for your purpose. Make sure that the documentation demonstrates your access to this money. Even with sufficient evidence, presentation or clarity might be important. 2. Source of Funds: Inheritance funds should be well-documented with strong legal documentation. Ensure that any inheritance-related paperwork is properly notarized and translated, if necessary. For business earnings, your company's financial records, tax reports, and proof of ownership/directorship must be precise and up to date. 3. Ties to Home Country: Demonstrating strong ties to your home country can be crucial. This includes property ownership, familial ties, and other commitments requiring your return. Jackto365: My POF was over 115M. Most of the money I got from my deceased dad and I submitted court documents showing I inherited it Intestate. Then the rest of the money was from my business which I submitted my CAC doc to show that I'm the director of the company. Also, i uploaded CAD4000 tuition deposit receipt and land documents that I inherited too.
**One important thing is I've had two rejections from Germany in 2018, when I just graduated and was planning toward grad degree there***
