It is only PA that needs an attestation letter
munchies:
Please I want to ask.
If a spouse is going for masters in Canada, is the husband required to get attestation letters from province for a spousal work permit?

Please I need answers.
Thank you

How much did you show? Did you put yourself into consideration when showing the POF? Will that money also cover for you or you just take out the money from your acct and deposit it in her acct
AskGod07:
Pls any insight to this refusal letter for my wife SOWP & Study permit for the kids.

Note: I’m still in Nigeria when I submitted SOWP and study permit for them with my wife bank statement that has a sufficient fund to cover their stay in Canada.

Now I’m thinking maybe I should apply for visitor visa for them instead of SOWP and study permit

Please I need your contribution

If you intend to work as a nanny for your brother in Canada, you should know that the regulations around employment as a caregiver in Canada have specific requirements. Generally, individuals are not allowed to work as a nanny for their siblings unless they are the direct spouse of the sibling.
Merosy:
good day house, my brother want to go for a program in Canada and he wants to include me as a nanny, I am in my early 40's, married, I have been denied US business/ tourist visa some years back, what is my chances of getting the visa as a nanny?
He has enough money to cover all the expenses but I don't know if I will be able to get the visa.

I have a plan of traveling to another country for laster though I don't have much fund, should I forget it and focus on this Canada as a nanny or I should go ahead with my plan, kindly advise me.
With these new policies I'm afraid of getting rejection, what are the chances of me joining his family?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 10:26am On Jan 31
Yes, go ahead with the process even if your initial plan was to move with your family you can still go alone and plan to bring them in.

Yes, a reapplication is considered a new application at this point you have no choice but to wait till an attestation letter becomes available. you should defer your program
Themillionman:

if your sister is providing the 80% of your POF, let it be available in your account while she do cash gift deed with her employment documents. Or the greater percent should be available to you she can also explain in the letter of support/sponsorship her commitment to you. Ensure all the money or a greater percent is deposited in your account.
Tohmee07:

That school takes time for their offer to drop most times, you can still email them or call them.
RayOFLife:
Good evening fam.

I applied to the university of Regina for a 2years diploma program and my application was confirmed to be in progress for processing on the 24th, November. The follow up email from the school was that it'll take appropriate 7weeks. And now it's over 7weeks and nothing from them. I have mailed the school twice and no reply.

Should I still be patient because it's normal or what do you think?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 9:51am On Jan 29
You don't need to be worried, if it is more than 9 weeks you can raise a webform.
Mamaoseme33:

Blackfinegirl:

I guess this is settled.
Thank you.
evansky:

They only ask her howmuch she is bringing into the country, then she login into the app and showed them. Also she still have my printed bank statement but she didn’t gv them that one. I think this people only want to know you have enough funds to take care of your self. So you won’t abandon your studies for work.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 9:30am On Jan 22
1. Working to pay tuition and other bills might be impossible. But you will survive!
2. Yes, you can use your sister as a sponsor. Get her work documents(employment letter, payslip, ID), if she is a business owner CAC if applicable, contract deed, invoices, statement of account, affidavit, and letter of support (if married the letter should be cosigned by the spouse), international passport, birth certificate, pics etc.
Babsen:
Good evening everyone, I just got admitted to Nova Scotia college for a 2- year diploma course.

1. I will like to ask if it’s possible to work to cover up paying tuition after paying the first part before traveling.
2. Can I use my sister as my sponsor for the POF and what do I need to get from her if yes.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 9:23am On Jan 22
If the 23M is showing as a lump sum then you need to explain how and the source of funds, but if the money is not a lump then you don't to explain it, just explain your work, how you earn and back it up with documents.
