When he predict death if a man, he usually send message to them, if they yield they will be saved . Just as in Micheal jackson case. Marlon his brother testified they gave Jackson the message but he delayed coming.

If the money was set aside for God as tithe , it should not be used for any other thing. Why not borrow from another person, why not sell your watch. If a man wants to give there' is always something to give.  Why should it be Gods own you will consider giving. Is it a must you must be the one to help them? If it's a must, then sacrifice yourself. Sell your fridge , tv. Etc. You can't seat in comfort and say you don't have. If Money is set aside for a purpose , you must use it for the purpose. It is discipline. If money is set aside for land lord,or your parents, you must use it. If not , God sees it as indiscipline . There were different kinds of givings in the bible. There is a giving for parents. Jesus said you shouldn't even give what is for your parents to God. You must use money for what is set aside for.

When I was younger during my 7 to 19 years of age, I usually have these horrible and frightening night dreams whenever I forget to pray before sleeping at night. Though its not the type that makes me wake up and start screaming, each time it happens I will be forced to wake up in my lonely dark room at midnight to say a little prayer before sleeping again, and I wouldn't have anymore dark dreams for the rest of the night.
I stopped praying at bedtime like 5 years ago and I discovered that the dark dreams I usually had back then now happens rarely compared to when I used to pray before sleeping. But the most recent dark dream I had just occured last night which makes me want to ask if there are others who experience dark dreams when he or she doesn't pray before sleeping at night.

Your spirituality is the major concern. This has to do with your level of knowledge of who you are.if you are born again. You need to know the word of God and understand the authority you have over the devil . You have authority over every single demon of darkness that oppress you in the night.

Your prayer shouldn't be baby prayer of "lord protect me" it won't work. You address them with authority to go from you. They will go. But it's not just the prayers. You need to study Gods word in this direcrtion. And believe it . Sometimes even without prayer, just meditating on certain truths from the bible ends the whole thing. So genesis 1:1 refer to a perfect creation. But geneisi 1:2 talks about how the earth became chaotic. The rendering of that verse suggests the earth became chaotic . It wasn't created so. Niv translation foot note throws light on that. It says "the earth possibly became chaotic"

Since that world was destroyed by water, if there was light, water cannot destroy light. Therefore that world existed without light but there were stars?

What are stars ? Are they plastic?  The flood of the pre-adamite world destroy the heavens as well as earth. That's why darkness came.There was light in the original creation

Peoples definition of prophecy is faulty. A prophet has many gift. Such as word of knowledge ,words of wisdom, discerning of spirit. He sees into the spirit realm . And makes prediction.

Prediction itself or foretelling is a manifestation of words of knowledge . And visions. That is not necessarily prophecy.
Prophecy is to speak on Gods behalf . I.e speaking forth the word of God . It can be in preaching or exortation, So prophecy is rather fort-telling and not foretelling.

It's Kunleoshob that said so. I hope I can still get the thread. In that thread I explained that pastor chris predicted the economic crisis as far back as 2001. He said we are in a 7 year periodic prosperity and after the 7th year there will be a worldwide crisis. But he didn't give the details. But in 2008 when the crisis was on,he explained that it will last another 7 year. When I said that, kunleoshob told me the prophecy is not true because the crisis is almost over. And I told him this is just the beginning, don't listen to wall street .

It's a christian that can confess sin if he commits any. A sinner needs a new life. A sinner is a man who hasn't recieved eternal life. He has a sin nature. It is not the bad thing that he does that makes him a sinner. It is the nature in him . So if he never did any thing bad . He is still a sinner . I may not buy the idea that getting to heaven is the only essence of Christianity. Lazarus went to heaven but lived a life of suffering on the earth .A man does not need to do anything to make heaven. If a man gives his heart to the lord today , if he dies , he goes to heaven.

seriously i was once caught up in that web of believing that once i ask for forgiveness of my sins everything would be wiped off and i will be allowed to start afresh.
so i was gladly doing my thing hurting people around me and always remembering to ask for forgiveness after each bad deed so that if anything happens i will go straight to heaven.

That's the error of the confession gospel. A sinner has nothing to confess. So if you do make confessions, it doesn't change anything. You're still a sinner. Because of the nature and life in you. It's a life of the devil and natural man. What a sinner need is a new nature. And if you have the new nature and feed on the word of God, the desire for such evil will die.

It depends on the perspective and and point of view.  Exegesically it may not be the actual interpretation of that verse. But when it comes to preaching something's may not be quoted verbatim , the emphasis is rather the principles revealed in that verse and the topic the preacher is dwelling. And that principle cn be apply to other things.

I may not have the detail of the mans outline to get the details. But l think his emphasis is more on the principle he perceived in that verse.

For example . Everything that God is and God has is in us. We have his holiness , work it out. We have his righteousness , work it out. We have his health and life , work it out . We have his wealth and riches , work it out. So I guess the point of emphasis is the fact that it is not enough to have something inside ,after you have received , you must work it out by faith if not ,even though you have received, the thing you have received may not manifest.

A good example of this is seen in Timothy. Paul and elders have imparted him with the anointing ,gifts if the spirit and power by prophecy and laying on of hands  and orophecy. but if timothy only stops at that , the anointing may not produce result , the gifts may not work. Timothy must work it out through a conscious meditation. That's only when the result will show.

1 Timothy 4:14-15
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

So if a man has received salvation, it doesn't stop there, he has to work it out.  By that same principle . A christian has been blessed with wealth,but it won't just show, he has to work it out.

Besides prophecy is not prediction. A prophet has three gifts , word of knowledge , words of wisdom and discerning of spirits. This is where prediction comes in. Prophecy itself is speaking forth Gods word.

Paul predicted the shipwreck and no one listened to him , but it came to pass. That was word of knowledge. Ability to see into the realm of the spirit.

Tb Joshua personally loves foot ball , he himself was a good footballer And he has a foot ball team. So that explains why he could see into the area of his personal concern. He wasnt giving a message to the body of christ from God.
