Hoodlums Beat Policeman To Death In Ogun Ekohotblog, September 15, 2020… The police in Ogun State said it has in custody four suspects who reportedly beat a policeman to death on Sunday.

The policeman, identified as PC Agada Akoh, was said to have been beaten to coma by the hoodlums, who left him in the pool of his own blood at Dalemo area of Sango-Ota.

The four suspects – Jelili Ismaila, 22; Amidu Bankole, 34; Elijah Samson, 36 and Moses Proboye, 34, were all nabbed after information reached the police at Sango division at about 9:30pm that a policeman has been beaten to coma by some hoodlums.

BREAKING: Gunmen Murder Council Director In Ekiti Ekohotblog, September 14, 2020… Tension in Odo Ado Area of Ado-Ekiti, following the killing of a Director in the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mr David Jejelowo by some unknown gunmen in the area.

The incident occurred at the wee hours of Monday at his residence in Umesi street, Igirigiri Area of Ado-Ekiti metropolis. The Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti Command, Mr. Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident to our reporter.

Abutu said the corpse has been evacuated to the morgue of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

FRSC Begins ‘Operation Show Driver’s License, Vehicle Papers’ In Lagos Ekohotblog, September 14, 2020… The Lagos State Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to commence‘Operation Show Your Driver’s Licence and Vehicle Papers’ with effect from today, Monday, Ekohotblog reports.

Lagos State Sector Commander, Olusegun Ogungbemide, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday. He said the operation was to checkmate the spate of accidents, following the increasing number of  truck-related crashes and fatalities.

He also urged resident drivers to obtain all driving documents, as those without valid documents, would be sanctioned according to the law.

Ex-Nigeria Scrabble Captain Paul Sodje Allegedly Killed While Taking Ransom Money To Suspected Herdsmen Who Kidnapped His Brother In Ondo Ekohotblog, September 10, 2020… An ex captain of the Nigeria Scrabble national team, Paul Sodje, was killed while taking ransom money to suspected herdsmen who kidnapped his brother in Ondo.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Scrabble Federation, Publicity Committee, Akintunde Akinsemola, confirmed the news to reporters According to the reports, Sodje’s body was found inside the bush in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State on Tuesday, September 1 after he  had gone to the bush to give ransom money to some kidnappers who had abducted his brother, Chris, four days earlier.

“Chris was going for his uncle’s funeral in Okwagbe, Delta State on August 28, when he was kidnapped at Ifon, Ondo State. The Fulani men demanded N100m but later reduced it to N1m.  His wife Flora and friends rallied round to raise the ransom.

Private School Teacher Arraigned For Molestation Of Pupil Ekohotblog, September 6, 2020…A Private school teacher, Akorede Hammed in Ilorin, Kwara state has been arraigned before a family court for alleged sexual molestation of his seven-year-old pupil, Ekohotblog reports.

According to the information available to our correspondent, the accused reportedly molested the little girl in a toilet in her school and after he had fiddling her, he allowed her to go. 

The victim reported the incident to her father who wrote a letter of complaint to the Area Command Metro, Ilorin, narrating how her daughter was allegedly sexually abused by the teacher.

Police Nab Nollywood Actor, Gateman over Death of Female Co-tenant in Delta Exhume corpse inside the compound Ekohotblog, September 5, 2020.

Delta State police have apprehended a Nollywood actor, Nonso Ekene, and gateman over the alleged murder of a businesswoman, Joy Obiageli Onekansi, alias Ada Jesus in Asaba, Ekohotblog reports.

Our correspondent gathered that the incident happened two weeks ago in the two-story building with four flat-apartments, occupied by the actor, the deceased, and the gateman from Niger state, who lives with his family at No 4, Anene Basua See, opposite the Cenotaph GRA.

The duo conspired to murder her, gruesomely stabbed her on different parts of her body and neck before allegedly burying her remains face-down in a shallow pit inside the compound.

25-year-old pregnant woman, Oyinye Chime, has been arrested by Anambra state police, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend spokesperson of the police command, Muhammed Haruna confirmed the report.

investigation revealed that the deceased allegedly impregnated the suspect. A 25-year-old pregnant woman, Oyinye Chime, has been arrested by Anambra state police, for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, Eleyi Azubuike, to death at his home in Ochiagha street in Nkpor, an area in the state on Wednesday, September 2,2020.

According to the spokesperson of the police command, Muhammed Haruna, he said the police received a report of the alleged murder and immediately went to the crime scene in Nkpor.

In a statement, he said: ‘Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased allegedly impregnated the suspect and wanted an abortion which she declined and demanded some money for her upkeep which the deceased also refused to oblige.

He said this eventually led to a scuffle between the couple that resulted in the deceased being stabbed to death.

The newly appointed Assistant Inspector of Police (AIG) for zone 14 Kasina Rabi’u Yusuf is dead. AIG Rabiu Yusuf passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

AIG Rabiu Yusuf was one of the officers who were recently promoted to the Ranks of AIGs at force headquarters, and posted to lead the newly created Katsina Zone 14 of the police command.

AIG Rabiu was Commissioner of Police in Kano State between 2016 to 2019.

A man identified as Julio Ceasar Mora, 110 and his wife Waldramina Maclovia Quinteros, 105 have been certified as the world’s oldest married couple.

The duo have a combined age of 214 years and 358 days.

Guinness World Records has certified the record and says they are also the world’s oldest living married couple.

Mora was born on March 10, 1910, and Quinteros was born on October 16, 1915.

Mother Dead, Baby Injured As Police Chase Suspected ”Yahoo Boy’In Benin A 29-year-old woman, Mrs Grace Obajay, lost her life in an auto crash that occurred along Airport Road, Benin City, Edo State, while doctors are still battling to save the life of her one-year and five months old baby, at a private hospital.

Two other persons: the Uber driver and yahoo suspect who also sustained severe injuries were said to be receiving treatment at the hospital.

According to Vanguard, the deceased who would have been celebrating her two years marriage anniversary in two months, worked with Floret Systems, as its Secretary.

She had ordered for Uber last Friday, after the close of work and had occupied the back seat with her baby.

T.B. Joshua Made Israeli Tourism Goodwill Ambassador The General Overseer of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet T.B. Joshua said he was named ‘Tourism Goodwill Ambassador For Israel’, following last year’s crusade in the Middle Eastern country.

Joshua released a documentary on YouTube detailing the ‘persecution’ he endured during his visit to Nazareth, followed by a ‘national award’ presented to him by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism Yariv Levin.

In June 2019, Joshua held a two-day event in the historic hometown of Jesus Christ, which attracted thousands of religious tourists from across the globe.
