kendrick9:All these are emotional talks He deserved the Balon dor last season cos he was head and shoulder above everyone else. All you guys using this season to claim he doesn't deserve Balon dor last season is very unfair. He was robbed, simple and short. |
FBS:Haba Sir. Though I personally feel it should be amended not totally scrapped |
purplekayc:Personally it's not a penalty. There's contact, yes but Saka was looking for contact. He went straight into the leg instead of going towards ball. That's really poor and wrong decision from him |
We've everything to play for this second leg. Hopefully we win. Thank God no away goals The guys rushed things ystdy, I dunno if it's the occasion. We need Partey back. The passes to beat press and transition us quickly is what we lacked ystdy but e be like say old age don come. Man has been lacking fitness and looking rusty since he came back from injury |
MrLibrarian:Who's Davies again? Is he one of the best FBs in the world that Saka should be afraid of him? |
raumdeuter:So Saka penalty no be penalty? |
Kiwior had a torrid night. I blame him for the two goals we conceded cos I don't know if it's lack of concentration that made him to miss that ball Gabriel passed to him. Not that he was even pressed sef. And the second goal, he'll need to write thesis to explain how Sane disappeared and appeared at his back with the ball. Cos to me, that move certainly look like magic. So glad we got the 2nd goal. Allianz arena will be a hostile place but I hope the boys don't allow the nerves to unsettle them. Tonight, they seemed nervous. Some tho. The first 3 Subs were real spot on. Trossard coming through for us again. But abeg, Havertz no fit just hold ball for 18 or near the box beat player? Once nobody is near him to pass the ball to, my guy always looks clueless. No wonder his first point of call is always to dive whenever he "hears" a trailing leg. I give him props for the first goal. It was his ball recovery that made that goal possible cos Saka don already lose that ball. I don't know if Saka is really nursing an injury because he's not been himself lately. I mean, Saka couldn't beat Davies one on one on most occasions? That's really surprising. And it's been like that this season against most top opponents. I just hope his injury is not derailing him. Anyways, Aston Villa next. We need to continue our league cruise — where we stopped from |
Unlimited22:Omorr... Thank goodness say the ref get joy. If na ref weh no get joy by now we for don dey lament |
Spy360:I no know whether you just like argument for the sake of it. Everyone here knows Timber played Lb in preseason. Na wa to you ooo. I expect you to bring another English and amala to turn your way out
|
Silentgroper:When that time comes, we'll know. But one thing is certain, your guy made mouth as if you guys will flog Man u another 7-0, I didn't ![]() |
andrewbaba44:Na you jinx abeg. My defence never ever cast till today wey you do your evil prediction. Biko, leave my arsenal alone oo. I wan see semi finals |
popizaino:It's not about being emotionally attached, it's about you showing faith and belief in what you're recommending. You guys have the one of the most big chances created, one of the most Xg, one of the top teams in terms of ball possession (~60%), yet you believe he's failed? It's only a good coach that can make this happen and I expect you to see it since you championed for him instead of being emotionally driven by poor results. Most of these guys you people are parading are scams and I believe just a player or two (especially one striker and one CB) will elevate this team. And I also believe you guys will buy at least a striker next season. I'm sure if you were a Man City fan, you would have X Guardiola during his first season, afterall he played very badly below his standard (even with the world class players) and his philosophy doesn't even seem to be working. You would have said he has failed afterall he had a pre season with them. Poch In contrast even met worse players and worst team than that of Guardiola or even Graham potter you gave countless grace(I mean, I couldn't even see any positive in G.P during his time here) Using this Amateurs (especially that dead striker in Jackson) to just conclude on Pochetinno just shows that you didn't really even know who you wanted at first. And the speed at which you ditched him should show that you shouldn't perhaps be taken seriously when recommending someone. I have a lot more to say sha but lemme just stop here. #no beefs# |
MorataFC:Tbh, anyone is very very okay for me. Like anyone anyone. Both are Major trophies and both are what we're hungry for (at least one). It's been very long we've got a major trophy so let's just satisfy our hunger with anyone for now. Maybe by next season (hopefully if we win one), we fit dey picky ![]() |
popizaino:You were recommending Pochetinno and you won't allow anybody hear word if it wasn't pochetinno. You made it look like once pochetinno comes, everything will be settled the way everyone expects it to be. I'm sure if Chelsea had appointed anyone not named pochetinno, you no go allow your fellow fans rest... ....Yet as at August (the month that season started), you've already started criticizing Poch and you're currently his biggest critic. You couldn't even wait to show him faith a bit— at least till next season to see the reason why you vehemently fought for his recommendation against all odds and opinions. You just started criticizing him like you've never wanted him before Omorrrr, Your fellow fans try sha to free you. If I was a Chelsea fan, I for certainly drag you everyday cos certainly you for dey ride high if Pochetinno and Chelsea is doing excellently well. No jokes!! |
andrewbaba44:Lmaooo..... I no do abeg. Since you start this thing, na so so "almost" dey cut am Man U 'almost' win against Chelsea Man u 'almost' win against Liverpool I just hope say you never jinx us with this "almost" ![]() |
CrystalTiger:Actually, I don't see anything difficult in this goal. It would be more easier to miss than to score for a professional footballer especially a Midfielder. 1. The ball wasn't a fast paced ball(ie the pass from Quansah) 2. The goal keeper was already outside the box 3. The location of where Bruno played it was the centre of the pitch. For someone playing first time accurate long pass to find a teammate, I don't see how hitting a wide goal post from centre of the pitch would be difficult for him. |
Amigoss:Lol, na why I try to deh tell people the main reason why whenever I can ooo. Klopp over try abeg |
Spy360:So you watched community shield and you believe he didn't play Lb? I believe it's better to just keep simple things simple instead of conflating issues. Last season, Tomi was injured and throughout preseason Saliba and Gabriel played as CB while White moved to RB. This season, Zinny was injured and throughout preseason, Timber played Lb even when Tierney was fit. In the community shield he played as a Lb again, beginning of season he still played as a Lb(while we loaned Tierney). But you still believe he'll play Rb after all these hints? Na wa to you ooo |
Amigoss:Ask anybody about me even here on Nairaland, I never had the belief the boys will go all the way cos they lack the experience for such pressure. It's a big reason I was just taking the game as it comes and I didn't raise my hope up. This season we're matured and more experienced hence the excitement ![]() We're gunning for the league and UCL, anywhere and hand fall, we'll pick it ![]() |
Amigoss:You never see excitement. This one na small. ![]() |
Spy360:Where did he play before his injury? Even throughout the preseason, where did he play? This is something that's straightforward. We won't loan out Tierney if Zinny would be the only option for Lb |
Amigoss:May ![]() |
Amigoss:We don't need to flog them 4-0 or 5-0 to garner 3pts. Don't worry about my feelings, Man U have helped me to cure it ystdy ![]() |
Amigoss:Yes, it hurt my feelings!! ![]() You've already canceled Man u who's a bigger boogey team to you guys than Brighton/crystal palace is to Us and Man City. So yeah, it hurt my feelings ![]() |
Amigoss:Did you get a parade when you were yapping on Saturday without looking at your own boogey team? ![]() |
Ray07:So you'll want Liverpool to equal your 20? ![]() |
Amigoss:I have to come back to this Person dey point boogey team, him no know say him team dey face the biggest of all boogeys ![]() We all know who surely dropped points and it's not any of those two ![]() |
swiz123:All join... You need good players, defenders and structure to be in synergy with one another. Even with our press, take out our two CBs and we'll be lamenting in our thread |
mostob:The only reason is because he met Pep at the wrongest of times in the history of "wrong time" You can't garner 97 and 92 points and not win the league. That's insane!!!! |
mostob:True... Nobody go rest anybody this time except any of us end our respective Ko tie for first leg. City no too get depth laidat sha. Na Guardiola dey hold that team(according to my opinion). I believe if guardiola is to leave that team today, dem no go too dey formidable the way everybody deh fear dem now. |
mostob:I swear, I saw that. E be like say Saliba wan cry ![]() Na one of the best Arsenal pairings I don see. Strong, Fast, good aerially, technically good. Now I no fit fear any attacker again. Thank goodness Ronaldo and Messi don retire ![]() |
daveP:Route 62 seems fine. Liba-Gate no be am at all ![]() |
